  1. Vaudevillans are so boring as heels though. They had to turn them back babyface cause they were bombing as heels. My new favorite tag team in NXT is Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Gable is like Angle but less crazy. He's one of the better "developmental" guys that they have built from scratch.
  2. You can see the IWRG influence on these guys. Weird seeing Genki in a Bike suit and without the makeup. This was a fine rookies match. I liked Susumu's powerbomb into a diamond cutter.
  3. Surprising lack of heat for this compared to the Flair segment. Crowd just doesn't care for Hogan anymore. Heel Sting is a sight to see that's for sure. DDP tries to run in but jobs to the camera guy.
  4. Finish looked botched as Steiner kicked out at 2 but the ref counted anyways. These attack the ref angles in both companies are getting tiresome.
  5. Goldberg felt above the US title at the time but he wasn't gonna get anywhere near the top with Hogan. Flynn's kicks to Goldberg were laughable.
  6. Nice to see the Ric Flair of early 1999 back after the awful summer he had. Sting bringing up all the times Flair turned on him was funny. Of course Hogan has to come out and put himself over everyone. Flair/Sting is a good program but like Loss said, it wasn't gonna touch Austin in 1999. I also loved Luger in this segment. HUGE Luger sucks chants.
  7. Few things better in WWF wrestling than pissed off Vince Mcmahon strutting down the ring going after someone. This was awesome all around. HHH as pinball bumping heel is nuts as was the crowd. Fun segment.
  8. Hughes is slimmer and wearing a shirt that looks like it says Botch. Didn't he get fired cause he had narcolepsy and kept falling asleep?
  9. Blake and Murphy are Test and Albert to Alexa's Trish. Although I like Murphy's running suplex. As for Crowe, he's been working Uhaa Nation this weekend at the house shows. I can see that being a feud for him in the future. Of course, he's gonna have to turn heel for it to work.
  10. This would have been ok if they hadn't done the same angle a year earlier with Austin and Mcmahon. I mean Austin wasn't even in his tights, of course the match isn't happening then.
  11. That Davey promo was sad and awful. He sounded drugged out of his mind and was just mumbling. Almost as drugged as those dogs looked. Oh man the Kennel in a cell is coming up.
  12. Jim Carey gets injured after getting pulled by his manager and Lawler. I'm willing to believe it.
  13. It takes a village to take out Hogan including Sting turning heel. I got to give WCW credit, turning Sting heel is pretty ballsy and worth a shot. It didn't work of course.
  14. Yeah Benoit was probably Sid's best opponent. I just don't get giving Sid a winning streak gimmick. No wonder Benoit wanted to leave WCW so bad.
  15. Harlem Heat are wearing different tights. This felt like a John cena title win. A title win just to pad stats. Windham Bros looked sloppy.
  16. So Dreamer has a bad back but does a DDT with barbwire wrapped around him on Victory? Yeah that makes sense. Corino cuts a good promo but the dreamer stuff is just so played out.
  17. Hugo Knox is out injured. Dawkins and Fulton aren't that good despite being in NXT for what seems like years and working most of the house shows. As for Corbin, The crowd was gonna turn on him no matter what after he stopped squashing guys in 30 seconds. I think he's gotten better now that he's working heel on house shows. He needs a valet or manager though.
  18. Well Terry Golden was the Randy Hales of KAW except he actually wrestled. Terry channels Shane Douglas with his bitching and moaning of Lawler, Dundee and Jarrett and how the sons of all 3 men got jobs so easily while he had to do it the hard way. Some of what he says is right on but Terry Golden was so hateable. Plus he was a lot like Lawler where he made himself(the owner) the champion after Bull Pain no showed.
  19. Buddy is almost as big as Kenny Bolin but damn can he still cut a good promo. Dinsmore's accent is really thick. It's amazing how much he changed his accent by the time he made the WWE.
  20. So I guess this took place after Grimes one time appearance in WWF as Key? Tierney and Kulka beat up some guys that try to make the save but Angle comes out and is able to take control. The lack of Heat for this is amazing. Cornette is just not over at all and the people didn't care about Grimes when he was taking bumps off trucks in the parking lot. Why would they care if he was a face?
  21. Cornette says Grimes should be put in the pen for what he did to Synn. I wonder if the people in Memphis got OVW tv or not?
  22. Clips of the Impact Players beating up guys like Sid, Shane Douglas and Sabu. Making Impact Players look like big time. Paul E makes another Lynn/RVD match where there must be a winner.
  23. Good match but not on the level of the Casas/Santo vs Bestia/Scorpio matches earlier in the year. Weird seeing Emilio as a tecnico. Santo is just on a whole other level from everyone else. So fluid withe his moves. Black Warrior has one of the best topes ever here. Clean finish was also weird.
  24. Foley's bump might be more insane than the hell in a cell bump. He goes from the stage, bounces on the grass hill and lands in the grave. That couldn't have felt good at all. Lots going on here. Taker/Rock are fighting backstage and HHH attacks Rock. Kane makes the save and then CHYNA goes after Kane. The finish made no sense but this was a crazy entertaining brawl. Made Smackdown look like a big deal. Plus we get where the famous HHH burred gif comes from.
  25. Man that was a crazy guitar shot Moolah took. Moolah says that Chyna will kick Jarrett's ass and that sets him off. Jarrett also now has two women valets.
