    Rare appearance from Spike Dudley's girlfriend in the crowd. I enjoyed this even if it's a handheld from the crowd. I don't think of Spike Dudley as a high flyer but he had some nice dives here. More spot heavy and faster than the Tajiri matches. Like Loss said, the ending wasn't ever in doubt but it was a fun match. Also "can't see shit" is one of the worst chants ever.

    Mentioned these matches in the What are you watching thread but I"ll put them here: El Dandy, Mr. Niebla and Tony Rivera vs Scorpio Jr., Crazy 33 and El Enterrador 1/25/01 El Dandy, Felino, Super Parka vs Scorpio Jr, Rambo and Mr. NIebla 2/1/01 Dandy and Scorpio Jr were feuding leading up to a IWRG IC heavyweight title match. First match had both guys just bloody and ripping the masks of the other guys. Second match told more of a story. Dandy/Scorpio continued to rip each other to shreds. Dandy won to set up the title match. Rambo turned technico after some miscommunication spots with Scorpio. Super Parka is such a underrated gimmick. Way better than Volador and at times I like him better than LA Park. El Dandy vs Scorpio Jr. 2/8/2001 Title match lucha is tough sometimes. It can be real good but when it's done shitty, it can be bad. Sadly, this was the latter. Very disappointing as I was expecting a bloodbath but it was mostly one the mat. Now Dandy was one of the best mat guys around but not so much in early 2000. Crazy 33 and Rambo are the seconds. They don't add much except for the finish which was really weak. For some reason, this had like a 9 minute second fall and real short 3rd fall.

    My god this was amazing. Two guys that were feuding like an episode of Roots walk down Beale street shaking hands and kissing babies while wearing belts. All this while gospel music is playing in the background. This is right up there with Lanny Poffo wearing a suit of amor while Kiss plays or the Hogan/Savage "friend of mine" music video.

    Wouldn't Tommy piledriving the ref cause the DQ? This wasn't much but it was the usual Memphis TV ending.

    If you look at Kevin Christian's face close enough, it looks like he and Brian are twins. Especially when laughing. This might have been Brian's crowning moment. An incredible impression of Doug. Talks about the WWWF and his fake teeth fall out. That Tommy Rich impersonation was just wrong.

    Tommy's voice is so scratchy that it's hard to understand him. He wants a brawl with Brian.

    This was going good till the kickout fest at the end. Misawa and Kobashi were just throwing headdrops like it was out of style. My favorite guy here was Akiyama. I liked him toying with Ogawa including kneedropping him in the head while Ogawa was in the boston Crab. Misawa seemed really out of it towards the end. Good match.

    RVD, Credible, Dreamer, Joey Styles and Taz are all involved. Of course Dreamer goes through a table.

    Dawn takes out Miss Congeniality after paddling Tammy. I remember reading Tammy hated this angle. Lots of storylines are intertwined during this. Dreamer is wearing a Sabu shirt.

    The heat was really lacking until the end but this was a good TV match. Venis got more offense than I thought he would but he would soon feud with Rock so I guess it makes sense.

    About time Mark Henry went to someone that could help his sex addiction. I think this leads to Mark Henry and Godfather celebrating with 50 hos in the ring with Timmy white. Oh 1999.

    Good TV match compared to the 6 man tags earlier in the set. The thing that interests me is how different this is from the Dragon gate days.

    Rock almost beats both Holly's by himself till HHH interferes. I also like this as it helped the Hollys who got a win and Rock continues his feud with HHH and it writes off the Rock N sock stuff.

    Mankind tells Rock to grow up at the end of his diatribe. I love that USA tries to censor "God Damn" but miss it completely.

    Good lord that was a scathing promo by Jericho. Shots at Double JJ and the booking team. Chyna sends Jericho off the apron into JR's lap. She did not look happy at all with what Jericho was saying.

    The piped in groaning was a bit much. These keep getting worse but Mark Henry is a trooper.

    I think this was right after Ric met Kimberly in the hotel room. Flair cuts a promo where he keeps mentioning Eddy. The Animals attack and David tries to make the save but its no use. This sure was a weird Nitro.

    This was Russo in a nutshell. Work shoot that the announcers have no idea what it is, bad match, mention the booker by name, bring in a new guy. Just everything about this was stupid except for La Parka and Jarrett destroying bagwell with that guitar.

    Hall and Nash are dressed like the Villano's. They can barely walk and Hall says "don't drink the water".

    Yeah the Luger/Goldberg stuff was decent in a sea of total shit at time. This interview he looked like he was jonesing for some crack or something. I guess he was trying to be nervous but I was waiting for him to say " I DON'T KNOW"
