Bray is taking Braun's place on the house shows, so they at least remembered that he exists. I don't think anyone's clamoring for Bray/Baron though. So not only is WWE (and Raw particularly) a universe where evil triumphs on a regular basis and the good guys are all dorks who have no friends, the top heel is a guy who seemingly only do nothing but chinlocks for 15-20 minutes.

I couldn't even muster hate for this show, it's like the whole creative team is still in a turkey coma from Thanksgiving and they just said "fuck it".

Baron Corbin in an extended match for the main event....it's like WWE completely punted on this week.

Mick doing a victory lap around the ring after finally getting a "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS" on the Rock was planned I'm sure, but Rock cracking up watching him do it was always a favorite moment for me.

It's not a bad thing to expect people to be better, especially once they get into positions of public exposure where they could possibly affect/inspire others. Just because wrestling has historically been full of trash people with trash opinions doesn't mean the new generation of trash people can just be handwaved away like "Oh, wrestling! You racist scamp!"

I think it's more a case of making sure bigots realize there are consequences for being bigoted in public, which is something that isn't a sure thing anymore.

The commission said Angel o Demonio's suspension would last as long as Cuervo is out, but cubsfan noted he's still booked for a show in December which the promoter refused to remove him from because "it was announced weeks ago and we believe we should honor the commitment". So basically he will probably continue to get work as long as promotions book him (and they will trying to capitalize off the notoriety of the incident), unless the commission puts their foot down.

I wonder if this was some kind of a dry run for the production team in preperation for Starrcade. There's also a Valentine/Piper match from that same show that was uploaded to the Hidden Gems section earlier too. It makes sense they would want to make sure the bugs are worked out before putting on what would be their biggest show ever to that point.

It says a lot about where we are as a society where I clicked those links and thought "well that wasn't as bad as I was expecting". I honestly doubt he would get endeavored for something like that unless some real sheet-wearing type stuff came out.

I think effort goes a long way. Stevie was terrible but at least I got the impression he was trying out there, he just wasn't very good at any of it. Tiger never came off as someone who had any intention of puttting in any effort at all unless Tenryu was on the other side.

If this promotion turns out to be real and this doesn't happen, I will be so disappointed in the Bucks.

The trademark filings had the address of the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium, which I assume is where his offices are. If this thing lands a TV deal then we'll know it's the real deal.

If he would just put like, 25% less effort in trying to cram in his pop culture refrences I bet most people would be fine with him. For example, I've always had a soft spot for David Crockett. He's absolutely no good as an announcer but he's so happy to be there watching the action it's like having a friend to watch with and mark out along with you. If he was constantly making Duran Duran song references it would be far less endearing.

Psycho Bryan is so great, and it's only going to get better from here.

Why would anyone cheer for any babyface in this company? All they exist for is to get beat on by the heels to generate heat.

I feel your pain, but would you really trust this company to do literally any other story with those two? I can just imagine the oafs on the creative team attempting to do any kind of tender love story with them.

Apropos of nothing, isn't it weird WWE is still booking major shows like next year's Survivor Series in an older building like the Rose...err Allstate Arena? They seem to like having their important shows in the shiniest, newest buildings possible, and while they have history there it's an antique by arena standards.

....and if Bryan loses a mysterious masked Dragon shows up to take his place. (I'll also accept him bringing back the Obi-Wan wizard robes)

This might be a "strike me down and I'll become more powerful than you can imagine" moment for Bryan. He's so good as a heel, and WWE can't properly book a babyface for shit, that this run might end up even bigger than the first one.
