Jesus Christ that dive...

Budget cuts.

Preacher Big E is awesome in its "where the fuck did this come from" -ness.

The ref pulling Zeb away from ringside prior to Kane's pyro going off was a very TNA-eqsue moment.

I'm starting to think Kofi legit has Spider-man powers.

I wonder if this injury is the same thing Paul Orndorff had, he was never the same after that.

Dave made a good point last night (this morning?) that Cena winning creates a real risk of him getting the Batista treatment since the crowd is clearly not going to want that to happen. I feel someone else wins tonight and they do something either on RAW or on the next PPV to get Cena back in the main event at some point.

What's odd is the spoiler in this case isn't the usual "local spots running early" deal, but them shilling pre orders for the SummerSlam DVD on Amazon with a Cena/Brock cover. I would almost hope they did that on purpose in some kind of worked swerve since that's a pretty WCW level screw up otherwise.

I believe that line was always edited out because the feeling was Heenan gave away the turn was coming, but considering the history the two characters had it was completely appropriate.

"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
sek69 replied to Bix's topic in Megathread archive
Scott literally telling Scherer to blow it out his ass when he tries roping him into his latest meltdown is epic on many levels. http://www.rspwfaq.net/2014/06/dave-scherer-goes-insane-threatens-to.html tl;dr version: Scherer is going on a Twitter rampage against someone he's accusing of stealing his content (he has yet to offer any evidence of this actually happening) and I guess tried to scare Scott Keith by threatening to sic his lawyers on him too. -
Roman Reigns doing an in ring interview told her to take her heels off so she could run away quickly since he knew there was going to be a trap for him. Considering it was taped the day after Raw it came off as a poke at Stephanie being late with her Mr. Wrestling II knee.
-
She actually took her shoes off prior to that, which may be where the rib came from on Main Event with Renee.

Yes, and per the last Observer they are looking to ask Mrs. Baba for the originals back after the sort of reverse-coup that just went down in All Japan.

The Larry moment that always sticks to me is the period where they decided to make him a mark for the Midnight Rockers, capping off with a match where Larry wagered his beard if they lost (they didn't). Also for one match where it was the Rockers vs jobbers and they kept jumping up and down on the springy ring at the Showboat causing poor Larry to try to announce them while being bounced all over the ring.

The actual design has started to grow on me. I think they would look fine if they weren't made to look like giant pennies.
-
Say what you will about the whole deal, but Vickie coming out to Eddie's music was a legit mark out moment for me. I never thought I'd hear that playing on current WWE programming again.

So it seems Invader I has left the promotion suddenly earlier this month, any word on what might have led to that?

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?

I would mark for Angle doing a Professor X gimmick in a wheelchair made to look like it was hovering. -

I get the feeling this is how they are ending the Willow character. -

Reminds me of that evening gown match they had with the Beautiful People where everyone was trying hard not to trip over their dresses. -

It's really been quite a thing to see how TNA hardcores and even employees are circling the wagons convinced people only think TNA is an unwatchable mess because the evil dirt sheets say so. And that Meltzer/Bryan/Wade/etc all must be on the WWE payroll and that's why they are negative. -

Slammiversary was a pretty solid show. Yeah, a lot of the crowd was drawn by Von Erich nostalgia, but the matches were all well done. It's a shame that a lot of potential is getting wasted by all the silly bullshit on Impact every week. In fact, that's my two prong solution to fix TNA: 1. Actually promote your shit so you'll get more than 100 fans at houseshows. 2. Tell Dixie and the rest of your 1,000,000 heel factions to shut the fuck up once in a while and have actual wrestling matches on your wrestling shows. -
Villano III is a strong contender, he's got the Abby coin slot forehead action as well.

Speaking of Jay Briscoe, the angle when they kicked off the Age of the Fall where he was hanging upside-down bleeding on Jimmy Jacobs spiked the ick factor for me.
