  1. He's probably watched 300 far too many times by now.
  2. After suffering a serious eye injury twenty days ago, Bryan Danielson is scheduled to face Morishima again at the upcoming Pay Per View taping, on September 15th. I seriously doubt twenty two days is quite long enough to recooperate from such a devistating eye injury that caused blindness and the abilty to not control one's eye. Fucking ridiculous.
  3. That Booker/Rey one was pretty funny. Booker put the chair right up to his face. Didn't Foley and Rock get in trouble for their antics in the I Quit match?
  4. Flair = Vince's sport
  5. I wouldn't mind having Shelly Martinez keep me company.
  6. I cannot wait until Vince McMahon is put in his place by congress. It'll be so bittersweet to see Vince McMahon get pushed around and have his world shaken to it's foundation.
  7. Of course it didn't help Taker or Austin. They were already mega-superstars during their feuds with HHH. However, the Rock's feud with Foley did little to launch him into superstardom, but his feud with HHH clearly helped the Rock reach the heavens. And what I was saying was they had sucess against HHH, meaning win-loss ratio. Guys like Kane/Jericho/Booker/Flair/Orton and even HBK himself took their turns being HHH's job boy. However, the guys I listed have won a considerably amount of their encounters with HHH.
  8. I was under the impression you were trying to say that wrestling should be advertised as fake with all of the deaths in and out of wrestling. A simple misunderstanding.
  9. I know what you're saying. I wasn't meaning he'd be in TLC matches, just, it's painfully obvious that he's in a lot of pain taking his routine bumps. A man of his age, let alone history of back/neck problems, shouldn't be taking bumps of any kind of the top rope, or back body drops, etc. His moveset alone is proof of his need to retire. I cannot remember the last time he actually suplexed someone outright. All he does now is throw punches, chop block, gouge the eys, low blow, and use the figure four. I agree that the situation with Flair could, and should have been handled better. They should have had Flair get his last title run a few years ago. Like his match against HHH in May of 2003 (might be 2002). He was clearly over, could still do some normal things in the ring without looking out of place, and could actually still perform without his death scream. On the other hand, I don't particularly blame Triple H. It's a business. He's only protecting himself. Flair used to do the same thing when he had the stroke like HHH does. Flair did it to Austin.
  10. Austin, Rock, Taker, Batista, and Cena all had good sucess against HHH as a heel. Benoit as well, to a lesser extent.
  11. Actually, yes. I know plenty of 1st Sgt and SgtMjr that are around that age that regularly defeat men 20-30 years younger then them in martial arts and black out/tap out tournaments. Being in the military has the reputation of being a tough ass SOB. Exactly. Flair, along with Hogan and Savage, and Nash, and Sting, and DDP are among the reasons why WCW died. Key word there, among. Probably for his age yes, but overall, no. Fedor firmly holds unto that title. You sure about that one? That's a loaded question. Hanging with Harley Race and Dusty Rhodes in the 80's would equal massive amounts of liquor and coke. One of the major reasons I personally want Flair to retire is this: He's old. It's hard to watch him perform anymore. I'm worried about him dying in the center of the ring. I cringed when I watched his TLC match.
  12. Eh. You can't really compare Randy Couture and Ric Flair. Couture is a master of his craft, a former soldier, and at age 44 has a body that'd make a man 20 years his junior blush. Flair on the other hand, is nearing sixty, with no military experience, and has had some serious injuries throughout his career. As long as they kept it to Flair having to cheat like a motherfucker to win, then it'd be okay. Having Flair win cleanly against anyone under the age of 58 would be bad business, pure and simple. Everyone and their mother knows that wrestling is fake, no need to pound that message home harder with a old man beating younger men.
  13. The problem is, and always will be: Ric Flair is a 58 year old man. I'm a huge Ric Flair fan. But, I'm not a fan of watching a 58 year old man beating men younger than him. It's just not good business.
  14. Not only that, but he hit Lesnar in the forehead/face instead of the top of the head.
  15. It'd be worse if they had one with all of the known concussions.
  16. I wish they'd show this chair shot as well: Hardy Boyz waffle Lesnar
  17. Both of those guys are pretty good. Wayne was cool with the back chops. The finish was painful looking.
  18. Eh. I haven't had it checked out in some time, but when I did go through the cat scan last November (due to a serious roll over car accident (which gave me a concussion)), they did notice some damage. The Doctor never specified how serious the damage was, or if I should be worried. I just kind of pushed it out of my mind that my brain has been damaged. Not exactly something I want to dwell on. I have had quite a few concussions. Most of them were either Grade 0 or 1. But I have had two Grade V's.
  19. I guess, I don't even know who that is though. I do get awful migraines occasionally, and even though my memory is terrific, it sometimes botches out on me.
  20. Two concussions equals brain damage? Damn. I've had numerous documented concussions. I've had two Grade V concussions. Once in high school football, and other in the Marine Corps. I HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE!
  21. Per ROH site. Looks like they're bragging about their talent getting fucking hurt pretty badly. Danielson is following way to closely in Benoit's footsteps.
  22. Hopefully you read the PM I sent you a while back with my address change. Also, don't forget I paid for three dvds when I sent you the money for the first one!
  23. This isn't something particularly easy to say, as it is very disturbing, but maybe some good can come out of the Benoit murders.
  24. I keep hearing about Damien Wayne. I don't know him from Adam.
  25. All of these people complain of being held down and do nothing about it. Jericho would have been welcomed with open arms in TNA (for a much larger and better contract) - NJPW would also enjoy having Jericho back.
