Charlotte Flair is the big name that leaps out at me. Especially if AEW bring in Ric Flair too. I'm sad that Samoa Joe went back to WWE after getting released. He would have been great in AEW, even if in a non-wrestling role. It'd be cool if they could get & reunite Chad Gable & Jason Jordan. I more think of non-top guys that would help flesh out their roster. The top of the card is going to be busy already. But getting people like Tyler Bate or Pete Dunne could do a lot for the undercard & filling up TV time.

AEW still have a big video game coming out too. That roster is going to be crazy.

Someone on Twitter (Dylan Waco) said "Do Cesaro next" in regards to AEW signing another talent. Um, could you imagine? What's his contract status looking like right now?

It's what it was supposed to be, in the death slot. QT got killed, quickly & they gave the crowd a chance to breathe. So, yeah, I agree.

I don't know if I'm just riding the high of the post-PPV brain or if it's hyperbole, but am I nuts if I think that may have been a top 5 PPV all-time? We got huge surprises, big debuts, big stars, a hot crazy crowd and good wrestling. Not everything was fantastic, like the Wight/QT match, but damn did that show deliver. Definitely the best AEW PPV to date. Felt like an all-time show, up there with other shows that I loved, like Wrestlemania 17.

First time I ever saw Skye Blue was as NWA Powerr fodder & she immediately caught my attention & I said she would be a star. That ovation she just got was pretty cool.

Also, just wanna reiterate my point: the match was great. It was insane. They did everything. Told a great story. Had the crowd in the palm of their hand. I'm not complaining, it was just an observation about how much pro wrestling has changed.

A top rope Canadian Destroyer didn't even get a pinfall attempt. One of my biggest complaint about AEW is how often death moves are just barely near falls, if that. The bar has been raised so much you don't even know what a finish is anymore. Nevertheless this match has been nuts & Dave will give it at least five stars.

That was a great near fall. The crowd was so deflated.

I heard Jim Ross question who was the legal men... in a cage match.

The second half was a lot better than the first half, admittedly. And the ending stretch was great.

Crowd is hype but this one has been pretty sloppy. OK it picked up at the end.
