  1. Just put him on your ignore list. Forums are a lot easier that way. Trust me. I'm firmly in the he should still be banned camp, btw. I think I get what Dave Meltzer is trying to say this time with this tweet. Having an all-female PPV doesn't make up for them being excluded from this one. The way he went about trying to make that point is going to ruffle some feathers though. Goodness.
  2. Nope. This show started at noon for me. It's now 3PM. I got up just before it started after sleeping in. The time is great for me.
  3. On paper, show looked great. In execution, leaving a hellava lot to be desired. Honestly, feels like a lot of folks just ain't got their hearts in it. Working with less enthusiasm than you see on a house show. Ladder match was OK. Styles match was OK with a bad finish. Not any good matches so far. Quite a bit of mediocrity.
  4. Erik Rowan might be the worst worker in the company to me. I don't know why WWE didn't give up on him a long time ago.
  5. The Usos are really good.
  6. I thought Jinder would be more over. Crowd was pretty quiet for him but booed the shit outta his manager.
  7. This match is already stupid lmao Matt Hardy needs to retire.
  8. I liked the Sleeper Hold spot but yeah, the Triple H Vs. John Cena opener left a lot to be desired. Following it up with Kalisto Vs. Cedric Alexander got a legit laugh out of me though. Combined thirty world championships followed-up with the Cruiserweight match~!
  9. On paper, this card looks insane.
  10. Can this be found prior to the removing of that information, or was it only uploaded that way?

    WWE TV 04/23 - 04/29

Anderson & Gallows were both hilarious in the Southpaw wrestling stuff. Outside of that, including Japan, I don't think they've done anything I care about.
  12. Jason Hervey is the shits on commentary. This episode has been tough to get through. Woof. Looking forward to Arn Anderson Vs. Big Josh in best two-out-of-three falls but I gotta mute it.
  13. Beach Blast 1993. Ehh? I'm also working my way through these shows. I just finished the 4-18-92 show. So, I think three shows so far? '91-''92 WCW is like my favorite roster of any wrestling I can remember. I also love how it feels more like a sport than a show, like WWE goes for nowadays. The commentators call it more like an athletic event. Jim Ross used to be crazy good. Look at this top 5! I actually don't remember K. Allen Frey. But I have noticed that every show so far during the main event has had a 2-out-of-3 falls match. The recap of the Rude/Steamboat feud was great. Steamboat slapping Medusa, Rude slamming Steamboat's face into the concrete, them having to digitally blur the images due to the brutality, Steamboat with the broken nose and two black eyes cutting a promo about his four year old son having to see his daddy like that... just a great angle. It's funny when I was younger, I used to really like Nikita Koloff but he's so... bad. Just so bad. Terrible fake accent, bad promo, generic gear, bad worker, terrible finish... he was all look because he looked scary & had those big ass trapezius muscles. Really bad babyface too... he just botched a small package & I was thinking out loud "why did I used to like this dude?" I really do think it was just because he looked like such a monster from his basement training video & when he came back & attacked Lex Luger over the U.S. title. And even then the training video felt like a rip off of Mr. T. from Rocky III.
  14. When you're watching a show on WWE Network, in example the new WCW Saturday Night episodes that they just uploaded, is there a way to make it stay in full screen when it switches to the next show? I would like to watch a couple in a row without having to keep getting up. Desktop P.C.
  15. Dave is just so fucking oblivious to real world situations.
  16. Don McLean in the song "American Pie" wrote about "the day the music died", after the deaths of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper & Richie Valens. This news today about Bruno kind of feels like the day wrestling died. I feel like it will be for a lot of fans that came from the generation before me in the pre-cable wrestling territory days. Everything I have ever heard or read about the man speaks volumes about how great of a person he was and how strong his character was. Being a memorable & dominant main event pro-wrestler is just the icing on the cake of him being a tremendous person. Reading through Twitter & seeing all of the touching tributes from other professional wrestlers really puts into perspective how much Bruno Sammartino was respected by his peers & how big of an impact he had on the wrestling world. Truly a big loss to the the industry.

    Wrestlemania 34

I would actually be more than OK with Cass never coming back to be honest.

  19. Amazing range. Almost Jeff Jarrett-esque in that way. That's former 4x World Heavyweight Champion & Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Jarrett to you, sir! Nobody could push the limits of mediocrity & parlay it into a career quit like Double J did. "Never drew a dime..."
  20. Well, I think Adam Cole is a lot better than Bobby Roode & Bobby Roode was good enough to not only get signed but get called-up to the main roster & get a U.S. Title match at Wrestlemania. So I think Adam Cole will turn out to be fine in WWE. I actually am pretty entertained by Adam Cole. His facial expressions are hilarious.
  21. Vince McMahon has always been in favor of TV-PG & immature comedy. Even during the Attitude Era, he had to be dragged kicking & screaming to switch to TV-14 & as soon as WCW wasn't competition anymore, he was back to TV-PG. Not to say there wasn't plenty of bad shit during the Attitude Era of course. When you look at the top TV shows, none of them are really geared toward the TV-PG crowd. Especially for shows that start at 8 PM or later. Breaking Bad, Sopranos, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Walking Dead, etc. I'm not saying that WWE should move to TV-14 again but I do think it wouldn't be a bad thing if they made the show more adult oriented. Implied violence and whatnot. After all, it's still a program about two (or more) persons fighting/wrestling to determine who is better/best. It's obviously not that black & white as so many outside influences, such as sponsors and shareholders, factor into the equation too but I am curious if after Vince McMahon passes away or steps down if things will change dramatically in the direction WWE goes? Roman Reigns to me is someone that would come off a lot better in a more serious show direction, instead of doing Sufferin' Succotash promos or cockin' his fist like Thor or whatever before punching someone. What's the rating for Lucha Underground? It's really over-the-top with cartoony gimmicks but still manages to get the dark & gritty feel.
  22. WWE spent literal years convincing people that Hulk Hogan might lose to guys like Earthquake, Tugboat & Kamala. It doesn't seem that far fetched.

    Wrestlemania 34

Just ban the jobber for good and be done with it. It's not worth the drama.

    Wrestlemania 34

Asuka wasn't over and the streak wasn't over. Good riddance. This is certainly an interesting take...

    Wrestlemania 34

I don't understand why two guys who had one of the best WM main events ever wouldn't produce another good match! Yeah, it was good last time, so I thought it'd be good again. Not that far-fetched.
