  1. he’s the only one that made the top 10 that surprised me. The remainder of the top 10 I have no problem duty.
  2. piper was one of my top 10 that was eliminated. Had foley exactly at 11. Still have 10 remaining. Did a place to be nation podcast with my friend Greg which goes over our respective top ten.
  3. so glad to see HHH not make the top 10. I voted him very low on purpose to try and help negate his top 10 votes. So I had all nine who dropped today on my ballot. 15 guys left with the top 15 to go. Looking forward to see who ends in the top 5. Does anyone believe CM Punk deserved to be higher than Misterio and Bryan?
  4. Hey Parv, where in the top ten would you place DiBiase? Would you place him above Hulk, Bruno, Austin, Rock, Cena, Savage, Michaels, Piper, Bret or Andre?
  5. I agree with you. I also don’t fell that Punk belongs over them as well. Haven’t seen Owen Hart yet. I guess he made the final 24 as well.
  6. please tell me HHH didn’t make the top 10.
  7. 13 of my picks were eliminated: Perfect, Christian, Jeff hardy, Slaughter, Goldust, Hall, Batista, DiBiase, Orton, Warrior, Roberts, Steamboat and Santana. All 24 of my remaining picks will be in the last 24. It’s just a matter of how many of them place in the top 10.
  8. What about Central States? How did this promotion with the same stale talent, boring tv and several years of not drawing at the house shows survive as long as they did?
  9. 9 more of my picks have been eliminated. Matt Hardy, Bossman, Waltman, Davey Boy, Rude, Booker, Benoit, Graham and Orndorff. I have 37 picks left in the top 40.
  10. 8 of my final 54 picks have been eliminated. Morales, Stratus, Sheik, Kane, Patterson, Yokozuna, Nash, and Henry. I have 46 remaining in the top 54 that are left.
  11. 11 of my final 65 were eliminated. Bob Orton, sid, Ziggler, Muraco, Earthquake, Jannetty, Patera, Sasha, Lawler, Adonis And Snuka. I have 54 picks left in the final 69
  12. Appreciate you reading them. At the end of the day, this is an extreme side hobby for a group of guys with jobs and families. I wish we had a full time editing staff... We have been trying to catch and clean up as much as of this as we can, often late in the night when we have a few minutes here and there. But it is basically just a blog for guys with no aspirations of growing beyond it in the industry. There is also a balance needed... we are getting tons of people asking to see the results, antsy to discuss. So do we just dump a list with nothing out there? Or put some effort in adding some substance to it? We are trying to meet both needs and that is where we landed. Two guys (with help from a third... and one of which has a newborn) have been writing these entries... all of them... two guys that aren't Dave Meltzer and aren't getting paid and aren't able to take the time to provide an in depth retrospective on 331 careers. It was just meant to be a synopsis, sometimes funny in nature, to add some depth to the results. They were doing it because they volunteered, which is awesome, but it's not a job. Again, it's a free site and a group project meant to create conversation and debate. It's not the end all, be all look at each career. If you feel there are deficiencies in the bios, lay them out so others can learn. I am glad you are sticking with it and appreciate you sharing thoughts... just wanted to give insight into what has gone into all this. BTW. I’m having a blast with your top 100. Even did a podcast with a fellow board member going over each of our top 10. Thanks for putting this project out. Hope you do a similar one with WCW/NWA
  13. 11 of my remaining 79 made numbers 85-100: Dusty, Eadie, Zbyszko, Duggan, Haku, Lita, Funk, Rikishi, Bigelow, Monsoon And Koloff. I have 68 remaining within the final 84. Is it true Bockwinkel made the top 100? That doesn’t make sense. He never had a run other than a battle royal and being an announcer
  14. Five more of my picks were eliminated: Rogers, JYD, Vader, Bundy And Goldberg. That makes a Total of 24 that were eliminated. I have 76 picks that made the final top 100.
  15. Slaughter won the US title in a non televised tournament October 81. On the 8/21/82 edition of MACW ON THE WWE NETWORK, Piper is introduced as a face for the first time in mid Atlantic
  16. April 83, Valentine beats Piper to win the US TITLE and bludgeons his ear beginning their legendary feud The Briscos turning heel and beating Steamboat and Youngblood for the World Tag Titles summer of 83 Fall of 81. Slaughter wins the US TITLE and feuds with Wahoo Fall of 82. Piper face turn
  17. sensational show. You guys have to do another podcast on these mid Atlantic shows. Johnny’s Ivan and Nikita impersonations were incredible
  18. Seven more of my picks have been eliminated. Studd, Kowalski, Ladd, Strongbow, Road Dogg, Rocca and Volkoff. Making 19 of my picks gone with one more set of cuts to go. What a tough 100 to crack
  19. 5 more of my picks have been eliminated: Garea, Luger, Hansen, Pillman and Bobo, making 12 of my picks so far not making the final 100
  20. Two more of my picks have been eliminated: Ventura and Stasiak, making 7 of my picks already gone
  21. So far five of my choices have been eliminated. Mascaras, Rocky JOHNSON, Miguel Perez Sr, Dino bravo, and bill watts. Let’s see how many more get eliminated before the final 100 is revealed
  22. Damn. I’m the only who voted for Mil Mascaras. I guess Bill Aptet didn’t send in a ballot
  23. As great as the HTM-Steamboat match was in July, their August lumberjack match was even better. I attended both cards and they were 2 of the best matches I’ve ever seen live at a MSG house show. I’m with you, I swore both times that steamboat would I’d regroup the IC title
  24. Now it’s time for you to do a super show podcast on Bret Hart, my all time favorite wrestler as well.
  25. You guys were right about Hogan’s absence after wrestle mania. I attended the July and August msg shows that summer. Hogan was not at either, but the product was still hot as I believe both shows I attended were sold out. They were both headlined by Honky Tonk Man vs Ricky Steamboat IC title matches. The best matches of Honkys career. You also had some great matches with Haku and Tama vs Martel and Santana. Butch Reed began his feud with Superstar Graham. Those matches were not that good. You guys will truly enjoy reviewing those cards
