I agree that the Snake-Macho match is the best match on SNME up until that point. IMO, it will eventually be surpassed by Hart-Savage November 87

A year after it was released, I finally saw the entire first season of Luke Cage. You and johnny were right, sensational show. MICHAEL Colter was born to play this role. The chemistry between he and Rosario Dawson was off the charts. Marsehala ali, frank Whalley, Alfre Woodard and Frankie faison were all tremendous in their supporting roles. As a resident of Harlem, i especially enjoyed Harlem being the backdrop and settling for this show. Looking forward to season 2

great show as always. What's the name of the song you played at the beginning? Great song.

Greetings From Allentown podcast
robertsilva replied to Ricky Jackson's topic in Publications and Podcasts
my favorite new podcast. You do a helluva job by yourself talking old school wrestling. And in my opinion. A feud between the SMW racist New Jack of 1994 vs the racist Dr D of 1985 would be great promos by both men and bloody matches galore -
Titans of Wrestling #67: The Last Battle of Atlanta
robertsilva replied to Ricky Jackson's topic in Publications and Podcasts
the single greatest Titans episode yet. I subscribed to the wwe network just to see this match. It was everything I expected and more. A bloody classic. Similar to a classic heavyweight boxing match. Great ending by having both carted out on stretchers. You guys did this match justice. Great podcast -
Dylan had me laughing in tears when he mentioned if LA had the hall of fame pitcher Walter Johnson instead of the wrestler they would have a great draw. Just priceless

Where the Big Boys Play Rewind

Great. Looking forward to the posts on the Flair-Steamboat series as well as the Piper-Valentine dog collar match. -
BTW. Cubetta is back on 57talk with new content. Abdullah and Mark Lewin. I believe he was attempting to get a job on the figure four website when he first started doing podcasts five years ago. He was rejected, so he began ripping Dave. He is a total nut job. He tooked every thing Robley and some unknown independent wrestler said as the gospel truth, even though they continually fabricated bs on every podcast.

I started to follow wrestling in July of 81, so familiar memories will be soon coming via your podcast. And in the spring of 82, my first wrestling idol, Superfly Snuka, will make his WWF debut

I don't believe Dave was dating Erin Andrews. She would have been 12 years old at this time.- 16 replies

Meant to say his arrival in the spring of 1982

Great episode! Maybe your best yet. Johnny's Harley impression was dead on. The discussion on the greatest announcers of all time was very interesting. The Titans podcast continues to both entertain and educate me as growing up in NYC, this look at pre-WWF expansion gives me a comprehensive overview of the territory before the expansion and before I became a fan, as I started watching wrestling in July of 81. Looking forward to listening once you get to Jimmy Snuka's arrival in the spring. Best old school podcast around.

A List Of Pro Wrestling Podcast Links
robertsilva replied to cheapshot's topic in Publications and Podcasts
thanks for compiling this list. the podcast i am on, wrestlings greatest matches, appears on the pro wrestling opinion show link that you posted. -
Hey parv, what happened to the hip hop interludes? I really enjoyed them.
-
Bruno was the greatest babyface promo when it came to realism. He portrayed a great athlete who didn't bullshit the fans and made you feel his pain and anger. No one has done promos like that since Mick Foley.
-
Welcome back James. And guest host Tone Loc does a funky cold impression of Johnny Sorrow!!!!!!
-
Johnny Sorrow was phenomenal in his tribute to James!!!!! Hopefully James can rise like the Undertaker and return to the show one day.
