  2. I'm cool with, like I said before just playing devils advocate with it. Marty Jones and Rollerball Rocco won't be lighting up the cities of Alabama anytime soon...
  3. Fair point Kris.
  4. Playing devils advocate, same could be said for Japan, could it not? Outside of a handful guys, we wouldn't of got Misawa etc over in 1983?
  5. http://www.itvwrestling.co.uk Have results for 1983 TV, so a list shouldn't be too hard to put together. I think we should handle them very much like the Japan farm system, we can't cripple the UK market by picking up everyone and wouldn't be realistic. Maybe the maximum tour they can have out here is 2 weeks every 3 months, or something along those lines. Unless we can find someone to book for the UK?
  6. Yeah that makes sense. I'm going to try and put together a list of British wrestlers from 1983, and hopefully we can tour them... I just want to book Kid Chocolate in Alabama...
  7. Where does Finlay go when not touring with New Japan? Or is he just part of their roster?
  8. No longer does GCW stand for Georgia Championship Wrestling more like Gentleman's Club Wrestling it seems...
  9. Great show, Johnny Rich pulling double duty in two states. Tommy just didn't have enough to finish off Buzz, will Jake have enough I wonder. What a big day in Georgia with 3 shows and the World Champion.

  22. PROUD MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV Saturday 6th August 1983 Taped in front of a live studio audience at the WTVY Television Studio in Dothan, AL Hosted by Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart Before the opening credits roll we see clips from this weeks big Birmingham show where the Masked Man from last weeks show reveals himself to be none other than Robert Fuller in a match between Jimmy Golden and Johnny Rich. We pan to Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart at the announcers desk, they talk about how they should of known that the masked man was Robert Fuller all along. They tell the audience that they have some shocking footage to show the fans later on in the show which will explain why Dutch Mantell and Bob Armstrong will be alternating weeks appearing on television. Also today we will see Johnny Rich and Larry Hamilton go 2-on-2 with the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Assassins, Tim Horner will go against newcomer The Moondog and Ricky Gibson will go against Bill Ash and if both Horner and Gibson win they will receive a title match next week here on TV. Tom Pritchard will be action and Art Crews and Josh Stroud will be in action after the break. === Advert === Josh Stroud and Art Crews defeat the Masked Medic’s in 6 minutes when Art Crews hits a running Bulldog on one of the Masked Medic’s followed by the pin much to the delight of the studio audience. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === Next up we see Ricky Gibson face off against the United States Junior Champion “Professor” Bill Ash who as always in accompanied by Paul Jones. A very competitive match between the two, Bill Ash looks like he will get the victory only for Gibson to surprise Ash with an inside cradle for the 3 count only to catch both Ash and Jones off guard after 8 minutes. === Advert === Tom Pritchard defeats Mike Jackson in an impressive showing following a Top Rope Elbow and the pinful for the victory after 4 minutes. Tom Pritchard looks like a future star. After the match Tom Pritchard has a short interview with Jim Cornette where he says he knows what he needs to do to become a star in the business and it isn’t being a nice guy. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === When return from the break to Southeastern Heavyweight Champion “Bullet” Bob Armstrong sitting with Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart. Before they get started Platt asks Bob how Brad is holding up, Bob replies by telling Platt and the fans that Brad will be taking some time off to heal up after Monday night. At this point we are shown the footage from Monday night in Birmingham when Dutch Mantell went a step too far and beat Brad Armstrong to a bloody pulp in the ring while tied up in the ropes. Bob in a softy spoken voice which adds to the drama, “Dutch, you crossed the line this pass Monday, you went too far. Well this Monday coming in the same ring, in the same arena, in the same town, I will give you want you want, I will put this Southeastern Title on the line but in exchange I get you. There’s a helluva beating coming your way Monday.” === Advert === Next up is Tim Horner against The Moondog joined by Paul Jones, earlier on Ricky Gibson got a surprise victory over United States Junior Champion Bill Ash when he got a quick inside cradle on Ash. If Horner manages to get the victory here, he and Ricky Gibson will get a tag team title match next week against the Assassins. The Moondog has the clear size advantage but Horner will look to use his speed to out do The Moondog. The match progresses for about 6 minutes with both men having equal chances to win the bout, when Paul Jones gets up on the apron just as the tide looks like it’s changing towards Tim Horner. At this point Jim Cornette runs towards the ring and pulls Jones off the apron. As Jones drops to the floor he turn’s and smacks Cornette right across the face and Cornette goes down, as this happens Horner hits a running drop kick to The Moondog and covers him for the 3 count and the win at 7 minutes. Ricky Gibson’s runs out to help Jim Cornette who Paul Jones is laying the boot too on the floor. Jones and Moondog retreat to the back at the sight of Gibson. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === We return after the break with a beaten Jim Cornette with the new number 1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner. Gibson and Horner check over Jim Cornette and celebrate their title match next week, they also ask Jim Cornette if he will be in their corner for their match next week to make sure Paul Jones doesn’t get involved. Jim says he doesn’t know, Gibson and Horner try to convince him, and finally he agrees. === Advert === In today’s main event we see the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Assassins along with their manager Paul Jones face off against the team of Johnny Rich and Larry Hamilton. This is a non title match due to the Assassins having to defend the tag titles on television next week against Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner. The match goes about 6 minutes until from the back comes Jimmy Golden and a returning Robert Fuller who attack Larry Hamilton and Johnny Rich to cause a no contest. Robert Fuller who returned to Southeastern on last weeks television and live shows as the masked man that helped Jimmy Golden defeat Johnny Rich.
