Sorry to disappoint, but I think you guys know how I work by now...
-
Southeastern will pass, I wanted JR Hogg but he's gone already...
-
Not a problem it's worked out better..
-
No the 5th was essential to the booking. 10th and 12th are now null and void without the 5th
-
This will create an issue, I need Brody for the TV taping that day. Can I swap Brody for Funk? If not I'll have to drop the whole booking and find someone else?Managed to sort a replacement for the dates needed so I'll no longer need Brody for those dates above... Sorry to be a pain

I really tried to stagger so many debuts and thats why my opening weeks were a lot weaker in terms of roster quality, than what i will be putting out in 6-8 weeks time. I have some big debuts still to come, but you wont really see my whole roster together for a while yet.

PROUD MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE SOUTHEASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING TV Saturday 9th July 1983 Taped in front of a live studio audience at the WTVY Television Studio in Dothan, AL Hosted by Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart welcome the studio audience and fans watching at home to another great week of Southeastern Championship Wrestling live from the WTVY Studio’s in Dothan Alabama. This week we will see Tag Team Champions The Assassins in Action, Bobby Eaton will be here, The new team of Tim Horner & Ricky Gibson will be in action, we will also see clips from this past weeks big Birmingham show where Bob Armstrong went one on one with NWA World Champion Harley Race. === Advert === The opening contest sees the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Assassins with Paul Jones defeat Art Crews & Larry Hamilton in 6 minutes with a big double splash to Larry Hamilton followed by the pinful. The Assassins continue their assault after the bell only for Johnny Rich to rush to the ring to help his friends out and the Assassins back off, as the damage is done. While Johnny Rich sees to his friends, The Assassins and Paul Jones join Jim Cornette for an interview. On more than one occasion Paul Jones has shown he has little respect for Jim Cornette, and this week is no different once again offering him a job within the Army, Jim politely declines as he doesn’t agree with Jones tactics and walks off. Paul Jones tells Cornette he won’t get anywhere with his nice attitude in the wrestling business. Jones addresses the need to keep expanding his army and introduces his newest acquisition The Moondog. The Moondog is close to 300 pounds and comes out holding a bone which he is chewing on. Jones states along with Bill Ash, who is away on international business this week, Jones Army is growing by the day. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === The Moondog with Paul Jones defeats Mike Jackson in 2 minutes in an absolutely dominate performance. After the match The Moondog continues his attack on Jackson, beating him down with his bone he was chewing on before the match. === Advert === Bobby Eaton defeats Josh Stroud in 5 minutes in a fast paced match where Eatons class shone through and he got the win with a Top Rope Leg Drop followed by the pin. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === We are back at the announcers desk with Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart who run through highlights from the NWA World Title match from this past week in Birmingham Alabama. After the clips are shown Brad Armstrong comes out, says his father isn’t here this week but would like to thanks everyone for they support this past week in Birmingham. Brad moves on to talk about his victory over Dutch Mantell this past Monday, at this point Dutch comes to the announcers table and challenges Armstrong to a rematch this week, Brad accepts, at this point Dutch just attacks the young Brad Armstrong and slams his head onto the announcers table and a brawl breaks out between the two, until the locker room empties to split the two up. Both Brad and Dutch continue to try and get to one another, but the locker room seems to be able to keep the two apart. This feud is heating up. === Advert === Tim Horner and Ricky Gibson who have been on abit of a roll lately at live events defeat Ted Allen & Tony Falk in 5 minutes with a Double Drop Kick. After the match Gibson and Horner celebrate with Jim Cornette while being interviewed. They talk about being ready as a team and ask for a Tag Title match. Paul Jones comes out with The Moondog in toe and says that they have a long way to go before they can get a title match. Jim Cornette then interrupts and says he’s spoke with the board of directors and if Horner can defeat The Moondog and Gibson can defeat Bill Ash next in week in singles action they will get a title shot in 2 weeks time live on television. The studio goes wild Paul Jones is furious and tries to get to Jim Cornette but Horner and Gibson block him and he backs off. Finally Cornette gets one over on Jones for weeks and weeks of it being the other way. === Run down of this weeks action in Dothan, Penscola, Birmingham and Mobile === We return with Johnny Rich, Art Crews and Larry Hamilton standing with Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart with the $500 Art Crews won last week. They tell Platt and Stewart that Art Crews will kindly be donating this money to the Dothan Children’s Hospital. Jimmy Golden comes out and says that he was cheated last week and wants a chance to win his money back. Crews, Rich and Hamilton laugh off his challenge, Golden then pulls out $1000 dollars and says that they can triple their money. Rich, Crews and Hamilton converse between one another and decide that the only way the match is happening is if Crews and Hamilton, who have already wrestled today, stay at ringside to make sure no foul play happens like in previous weeks. Golden okays this and we are on for Johnny Rich vs Jimmy Golden. === Advert === Johnny Rich starts the match like a house of fire, he has come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks, Rich really has Golden on the back foot. As the match progresses it looks more and more likely that Rich will actually get the win here. After ten minutes all of a sudden the Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Assassins come out to ring side and continue their brawl with Hamilton and Crews from earlier today. The referee drops to the floor to break up the fight, as this happens Jimmy Golden sees an opportunity to take an unfair advantage and takes a pair of brass knux out of his trunks, when out of nowhere a masked man appears in the ring and steps between Rich and Golden. There is a three way standoff in the ring when the masked man turns an hits a low kick to the gut of Johnny Rich and puts him in the Piledriver position as Golden comes of the second rope to add the spike and covers Rich. The masked man returns to the back area from where he came from and the referee returns to the ring after getting Crews, Hamilton and The Assassins to the back, to make the 3 count and Golden wins back his $500 and celebrates like he won the World Title. Charlie Platt and Rick Stewart say it’s pretty obvious who the masked man was, and they will find out the answers next week. === Show Ends === Quick Result 1. The Assassin's defeat Larry Hamilton and Art Crews in 6 minutes. 2. In his debut match The Moondog defeats Mike Jackson in 2 minutes. 3. Bobby Eaton defeats John Stroud in 5 minutes with a Top Rope Leg Drop. 4. Ricky Gibson and Tim Horner defeat Ted Allen and Tony Falk in 5 minutes with a Double Drop Kick in 5 minutes. 5. Jimmy Golden defeats Johnny Rich in 12 minutes after a masked man entered the ring and aided Golden with a Spike Piledriver.

I can send Dutch Mantell, Bobby Eaton & Tom Pritchard. -
It is just part of the game and something that happens. I can't imagine you had all your plans built around Bock for the foreseeable? It'll be as inconvenient for Jhawk to have to pick up 10 new guys and have to book them in and not have them sitting around. He'll probably welcome the fact certain guys are out on loan so he doesn't have to bring them all in instantly.

Bobby Bearden is very grateful for all the positive feedback. But is struggling to understand how Verne knew there was a show in Huntsville tonight in front of less than 1000 people.

Alabama Wrestling Alliance crowned Ricky Gibson their new Alabama Heavyweight Champion on July 28th.

Alabama Wrestling Alliance would happily use Thunderbolt Patterson on his August shows...

There was talk that Hulk Hogan would be back in the area when the name went up. This is in no way an attack on Verne or the AWA, although it's believed that Wade Smeltzer was at the show...
