I don't know why I didn't but always thought Waylon Mercy was a character in the early 90's like around 91 - 93 right after his time in WCW. Didn't know it was in 1995

It sounds like the DVD are running out at stores all over the place. My guess is that a lot of people did the pre-order gimmick. Luckily my Best Buy had the blu ray. I know this isn't too surprising but so far this is an awesome DVD. Especially on the ECW stuff with tons of great backstage footage that I have no idea who did it. Documentary is really good and the extras are definitely worth it.

So apparently not only did we get a match where the finish was on a commercial but the entire match was during the commercial. That is some Stampede wrestling kind of stuff

watching the NBC Special tonight. I figure I should be mildly upset that there wasn't one reference to Daniel Bryan winning the belt on the show but it is only an hour long and a guy out for 3 or 4 months just isn't going to take out Cena vs Wyatt. Hopefully he gets back in the ring or that whole thing might be a distant memory On 2nd viewing of Brock vs Taker, this is a really bad match. Taker looks awful even before the match begins so it is no surprise that he almost dropped dead after the match. Thank god for Heyman Oh and not a single mention of the Network I believe. Way to advertise your bread and butter

Watching ECW in early 1995 can someone explain how the Ian vs Axl Rotten feud won the PWI feud of the year. I know we shouldn't take that magazine too seriously but I don't get how people except blood marks thought it was a great feud The crowd loved it but ECW at the time that fans were in full vampire mode when it came to violence and blood. Hell Ian vs Axl isn't even in the top 3 of best 1995 feud in ECW I guess it was one of those things that was great at the time but doesn't stand the test of time. Either that or 1995 was a really bad year.

What really baffles me is that it seems like they are doing nothing special for Summerslam except showing the PPV and showing the older ones. If Summerslam is their 2nd biggest PPV then it should be treated on the Network as such. They have 3 or 4 of these round table shows scheduled and NONE of them are on the network. They could definitely have one access like shows. It is funny how the opinion of UFC Fight Pass is the complete opposite of the Network. About 4 months ago the UFC was getting hammered for what they were doing. Now they seem to be the real standard on how it should have been done. It seems like every week there is new stuff and when there is a PPV they almost flood Fight Pass with stuff with videos, Q&A, and such.

I would think Victoria and Mickie James are the two biggest contenders. I can't imagine they would think of Medusa given what she did in WCW. I don't know if there are issues with Sable but before her second run to the WWE she was definitely problems between the two. As good as Molly Holly was, she was kind of a mid carder in the WWE. She is in the class of people like Melina in my opinion. Stacy and Torrie I can kind of see.

They were showing Nitro up to about mid 1998 and then just stopped for some reason. The only things that they would show regularly was WWF Primetime, NWA Saturday show, RAW, and ECW. Every now they would show a weekly AWA, Stampede, and World Class in order but it was mostly once every 3 weeks or so. While the amount of updates have become really frustrating, I still believe that the Network is miles better than Classics. The stuff shown will always be there and there are far fewer edits to the product than Classics.

Well Bryan-HHH was supposed to be the new Austin-McMahon but we don't even know if he is going to work in the WWE so I guess Ambrose is a good replacement

Safe to say this was not as good as Big E vs Russev. I don't think most people thought Swagger would have a chance to win the match no matter how good the segment on RAW is I did love Lana's reaction to swagger hitting the post. Not sure if she was shocked because she thought she would get hit as well

Well I guess we aren't going to have a Rollins vs Ambrose match. The best we can do is a run-in to prevent cashing in the MITB. Like I said before, I don't see how this slow burn is going to help Dean in the least. Especially when he is losing and losing on RAW

So I guess the question in this match will be how quickly it is before they make a Malaysian airplane reference
