  1. Wow that was almost a squash by Alexa. Bayley was made to look like a chump in that one
  2. Bayley getting serious boos. Well that is odd. By the way, talking about Wonder Woman and empowerment does nothing to get away from the "little girl in the real world" stigma that the WWE has created So if you are in your home town but in a tag team, do you automatically lose or does having the person from another place cancel each other out.
  3. That's makes no fucking sense, why would having your manager slap you in the face be considered a DQ for the other guy I did like how the threat of a DQ is the reason he lost. Even if the way they were planning for the DQ was stupid
  4. Well given that Crews and Kalisto has had dozens of matches together in previous namesakes, there is no hope at all for Apollo if this match sucked.
  5. Trying to think is the first time an Extreme Rules show has not had a ladder in it in some way. Of course with Money in the Bank being the next show it makes sense but don't remember that stop them before I know Nia Jax is a heel but hard to hate here after just destroying Sam Roberts on the pre-show.
  6. As someone who was at the ROH show with Jeff Hardy in 2003, I think the majority of the hate toward him was that he was considered one of those WWE castoffs just coming into the company looking for a quick pay day. With the exception of Raven (helped to be an ECW guy) and Dusty most former WWE/WCW guys were treated like shit by the diehards. it was funny because he was booed immediately, jumps into the ring to go to the top rope, and slips badly. After that it was hopeless. Makes you wonder if the 2002 - 2005 Ring of Honor kind of crowd would have shit over the Broken Hardys stuff this year in ROH because it was created in those "sports entertainment" companies.

    FloSlam

The ironic thing is that PWG does do digital with the Highspots Network but it doesn't have any 2016 or 2017 stuff. Again it helps that they sell their DVD's on the site which FloSlam doesn't have the advantage.

    FloSlam

I wonder if it is more about making it close to even than a profit at this point. I have a hard time believing they would starting up on this in good financial shape and not having that WWE influence that people thought was going to happen hasn't happened. Right now all FloSlam is an easier way to get to WWNLive because what else is out there that is must see except the More than Mania weekend. House of Hardcore is a good promotion and it seems like Lucha Forever is getting a push but nobody was going to pay a monthly fee to see these companies

    WWE TV 5/22-5/28

True, but they could do this angle without the cheating and he could be a very positive face role model and it'd be pretty neat. Faces cheat all the time, too, so the cheating aspect is pretty inconsequential these days. Well wasn't the original idea of the Muhammad Hassan angle in 2002 to 2004 (can't remember when) was that he was a proud American who just wanted to be respected but was hated because he was Muslim and everyone was against him after 9/11. Of course if I remember it only last about 2 or 3 weeks and Vince just made him every stereotype he could think of.

    WWE Backlash 2017

I admit that it is very hypocritical but fans will give a really good wrestler who gets on the juice to join the group much more of a pass than a below average wrestler who becomes a champion as soon as he becomes a walking advertisement for backne. Or in his case backne that has spread to his shoulder and arms. Not bothered by Jinder being a champion because he is representing India for their tour. That is some Trump bullshit right there. I mean they did the same thing with Khali. Although Khali kind of makes sense because even though he was a horrible wrestler he was huge. but man that is the best they can do? To think that Mark Magnus was actually 10 years ahead of his time. To think that Mark Magnus was actually 10 years ahead of his time.

Another thing about building that fan base, if they are really serious about getting this WWE India think going then he has to be a champion for at least a 2 or 3 months after their tour. They can't just have him drop quickly once they got what they wanted like they did with Khali. I know they aren't the "smartest" (in the business side not the intelligence side) fan base. I mean they thought that Raka Kin thing TNA did was really good. But they would have to smell something fishy.

Jinder ain't great... but he's new. Something different. Orton is the same old shit. He isn't new. He has been a jobber since around 2010. Probably longer. The only difference is that he is a jobber thanking god that champions don't have to deal with wellness tests. I mean is he even Hindu to begin with? I know he is Canadian.

Don't ever fucking tell me that you don't win using steroids. I mean for fuck sake what is this 1985? By the way how the Bollywood Boyz didn't hurt their neck with Orton sloppy ass throws to the broadcast table is something.

    WWE Backlash 2017

A really loud "Let's go Jinder" chant. Yeah I don't fucking get it. Did Orton piss off that many people?

    WWE Backlash 2017

I would think the purpose here would be to establish "Hey, this new guy can have some pretty awesome matches" to people who don't know him. Sorry but how many people have never heard of NXT. I can understand not knowing about New Japan but come on are RAW/Smackdown fans that much in a bubble? Yes this isn't going to help the problem with the Smackdown tag title match being completely meaningless

    WWE Backlash 2017

If you are the WWE you have to make it sound like the WWE is the "major leagues" over New Japan and everyone else. Most companies in the US could learn from something like that. Even if the majority of people don't believe it. Man this is doing everything to put Dolph over. Unfortunately that isn't the fucking purpose of this match

    WWE Backlash 2017

I loved Aiden English in NXT when he was doing the same gimmick. Looking back I think I loved it because of how much Regal loved it throwing flowers at him and stuff. Don't think we are going to get the same from a JBL.

    WWE Backlash 2017

So they are starting with Nakamura vs Dolph. So they guy they have hyped from the beginning is in the first match of the show? I mean granted Dolph is a nothing character right now so I guess maybe he will be treated like Benoit used to do with Orlando Jordan Eric Rowan as a better version of Pogo the Clown from XPW has some potential. Hate to see Luke Harper have to lose to him though
  19. No I meant that that RAW/Smackdown are treated as more important than the PPV. Especially since the brand split. With the exception of the big 3 shows. It is the opposite on NXT. Now whether that is pure luck or the plan I am not sure. I believe that Ciampa would have turned on RAW or Smackdown if this occured on the main roster.
  20. That is the 2nd time they have done a major heel turn in the last "minute" of an NXT show as the credit was showing. Worked just as well with Owens/Zayn and it is even better with Ciampa and Gargano given how much both guys are over in Chicago. I don't know how Johnny doesn't have a concussion after that match. Fell on his head over shooting that diva onto the ladder and take a hard uppercut ladder shot right in the jaw. He is one tough bastard which is what makes him a great babyface. Have to give NXT some sort of credit because while their TV show hasn't been that good in the last 3 to 4 months, the Takeover shows leading up to it have been fucking great. It is kind of the backwards way RAW/Smackdown is which works for me
  21. The idea of the "face of NXT" not being the main event of Takeover is either an issue with Bobby Roode in the ring or the acknowledgement that Itami isn't a credible opponent
  22. That might have been the greatest airplane spin from Tyler Bate in history. Never seen anyone go that fast on one especially on a bigger guy. He might have went too fast because he usualy goes backward and just couldn't do it. Incredible match between Dunne and Bate. The crowd and Ross/Nigel on commentary took it to the next level. Going to be hard for anything to top that. I am confused why they are hyping DIY vs Authors of Pain as the first ever ladder match for title since I could have sworn the main event of the first ever Takeover was Neville vs Bo Dallas was a ladder match

    NXT talk

I guess the problem with running at Full Sail is that if these angles are crap they will let people know it. I can't imagine that NXT crowd reaction to this entire Noam Dar/Alicia Fox/etc feud. I mean I guess Noam would get more heat because I don't remember liking him in the first place.
  24. A new Bring It to the Table tonight. The first since the JBL issue. So what is the over/under on the first Mauro wise ass remark or insult. I don't put it past JBL or Rosenburg one bit

    WWE Payback

i haven't watched the last couple weeks of RAW and Smackdown except for pieces but have they mentioned that Rosey passed recently? Plus how many of the people that boo Reigns now even know about the relationship. Just booing for the same reason they are chanting 'CM Punk' and 'Cena Sucks'. Everyone else is doing it.
