  1. Why do I remember them announcing Bulldog-Hennig a few months before Summerslam (including having a WWF Magazine feature on the match) only to switch it to Bret-Hennig a few weeks before the PPV? And yes, I went to a few house shows in '91 where Bret was saddled with Barbarian and Warlord. I don't remember much about the matches other than the reaction Bret got for his entrance was about 10 times louder than I'd expected. They had to know they had something solid with Bret.
  2. HHH has jobbed quite a bit at Wrestlemanias... If they do this, there's no doubt they have a forced HHH "moment" only for the crowd to sit on its hands, a la WM18, WM25

No. Mark Henry. Guy I follow on Twitter suggested that they stick Mark Henry back in his 1996 tights and put him with Dutch Mantell
  4. Didn't Slaughter promise Savage he'd get the first shot at the title if he won? Did they ever end up explaining that away, or did they just forget about it?
  5. After Hogan/Savage and Elizabeth/Savage, this is the best bit of long-term storytelling the WWF has ever done. Gorilla shouting "OHHHH HE NAILED HIM!" with his voice going up an octave, Piper going ballistic along with the crowd... what a perfectly done moment.
  6. I remember watching this on my dad's crappy black and white TV that had a screen the size of an NES cartridge. The Savage/Sherri post-match beatdown is what hooked me for good as a pro wrestling fan as an 8 year old kid. Of course my mind's eye remembers it as Savage leaping over 20+ referees again and again to completely annihilate the Warrior, and that's not quite what happened, but still Savage made a gigantic impression on me. I thought he was unstoppable and could do whatever he wanted because he was a complete nutcase.
