Tajiri’s yearbook debut I think? Ohtani’s repeated forearm to face rub is so great. He starts off the match standing on Tajiri’s head as much as possible. It is a random type finish with using the Dragon Suplex out of nowhere. Ohtani’s cockiness and arrogance leading to his defeat continues to show up on the year books.

Syxx does his own Flair flop after a couple chops. Very short as Hall and Nash interfere and hit their finishers on Flair. Nobody comes to Flair’s aid.

Flair has had to have bigger thrill’s in his life than that tag match but after his return to the ring he seems happy to be back. Syxx confronts Flair to challenge him to a one on one match. Syxx takes off while Flair chases him for a few.

Pillman and Austin to face each other at King of the Ring. That card went through some big changes. Hart Foundation runs in to attack Austin. Michaels was just carrying chairs around at this point as every time he charges the ring he has one in his hands. Owen/Bulldog versus Austin/Michaels signed for next week.

Undertaker ain’t white! He will be facing Faarooq at King of the Ring. Bearer doing his Mummy impression. He talks about a huge secret regarding Undertaker. The Undertaker is a loss for words about this and doesn’t want Paul going there with this. Undertaker showing some weakness. He needs more time before responding to Bearer. I'm not as eager as Loss trying to follow the history of this feud.

Cornette says Sunny will be all “washed up”. Oh. She ends up pulling out a super soaker and nailing Cornette. I had some great neighborhood water gun/balloons fight as a kid. We kept using everyone’s waterhoses to fill our stuff up. Their water bill’s must have been crazy high. I can just remember this one day battle that startled very early in the morning and went to dark. We were fighting other kids we didn’t even know. Back to wrestling, Sunny is not being used as a manager anymore.

Bret likes to keep pointing out Shawn’s bad knee. Hart is out of the wheelchair and on the full mend. He issues a challenge to Michaels at King of the Ring! If Bret can’t beat Michaels in less than 10 minutes, he would never wrestle in the US against. I know it doesn’t happen but it is interesting that they would book their long awaited rematch to be something that would only go 10 minutes. All of the Hart Foundation are to be handcuffed to the ringposts. I didn’t pick up the Sunny Days comment watching it back in the day. They should have kept the camera on Bret’s face longer as he didn’t look happy. Anvil were very noticeable in not liking the comment.

I always liked the sell of the superkick with Bret falling backwards into the wheelchair which topples over. Michaels running for his life is great too as keeps escaping until the Harts finally catch him. Austin actually saves Michaels big time from being tossed off the stage.

Lawler continues his war against the bingo hall group. I don’t get the analogy of RVD being the Tiger Woods of the WWF. Jerry is probably just name dropping Tiger who did kick some ass in the Masters tournament the month before.

My memory was off as I thought the Mankind interviews started before the Goldust ones. These interviews were great with old backyard clips of Foley including that crazy dive he took off the roof on a house. Mankind thinks he’s a good kisser. Rainman delivery there. The hype the next’s week segment of Dude Love and Cactus Jack!

An alliance is forming between Austin and Michaels though Steve doesn’t care much for it. This is about taking out the Hart Foundation. Michaels plays seniority in WWF with Austin. What is the point of wearing a bandana like that? Austin is not making friends with anyone and will fight everyone on roster. Hart Foundation enjoys these issues between the two. Owen issues a challenge for their tag titles. Michaels wants to find his own partner but so does Austin. Great build to the tag match next week.

Buffer puts over Flair big in his introduction. Flair is on fire to start the match. He even dodges Hall’s toothpick toss. Kevin Greene clears the ring and the crowd loves it. Whole NWO is bumping all over the place for Flair’s team. Greene was used properly and didn’t hurt match. He provided some great looking offensive moves here and there and they focused the selling during the match mostly on Flair. Great finish with all three NWO members getting taken out as Nick Patrick comes down and counts Hall’s shoulders down while in the figure four. Huge win for WCW against NWO. Very fun match to watch.

Reggie White with an Atomic Drop. He’s got Green Bay Packers ring gear. Mongo doing all the bumping. White didn’t look terrible but we only get the finish of this. Jarrett helps out Mongo with the briefcase shot. They went 17 minutes?!! The editing to the end here was for the best then. At least the wrestler went over.

DDP talks about Savage having a previous engagement but it is not from Kimberly or Elizabeth but he needs to go over to Hogan’s house to wash his car. Ohh! Bagwell seemed to find that funny as he had a huge smirk on his face. This sets Savage off and he goes over DDP. NWO numbers overwhelm but Giant makes the save.

The Prince Iaukea experiment is over as Dragon is now TV Champion. Whether it was a blown spot or not, Regal not being accommodating on being Irish whipped works for him. Sonny Ono beats up Regal! Oh, I want Regal to stretch him to pieces. More kicks from Ono and he kicks Dragon too! Regal Stretch to win the TV title. Good match and credit to WCW for opening their PPV with this pairing.

We start with them brawling near the crowd with Spicolli all bloody. They finish the match doing wrestling moves. After match Spicolli hits a DVD on Beulah and holds nothing back. Bunch of people rush the ring to check on Beulah as this is played up as being really serious.

Those action movie kick combos don’t work if there ain’t someone on the end bumping and selling it properly. This was a excellent performance by FBI. Especially enjoyed Smothers with his stalling and great bumping off all the Eliminators kicks. I thought FBI looked strong and Eliminators were able to squeak out the victory. One of the better ECW matches on year book so far.

Morton jumping up on to Awesome’s shoulders for the hurricarana had me thinking he might get powerbombed instead into the second row. Luckily, Ricky was able to pull it off. Morton totally fit in with this match in FMW. He’s gets busted open and draws the sympathy from fans. Morton still had something to give after all.

Bischoff makes the case against Sting being in the WON Hall of Fame. Eric showing his arrogance trying to provoke Sting of all people. The real one shows up and easily takes care of the Fake Sting. The reverse DDT fit Sting so well during this stage.
