On another note, I'm not sure Bryan would win that ladder match if he's in it. He'll be asked to do the craziest spots and keep the match together. He's the new Benoit/Jericho. Every week Michael Cole will say he beat all three members of Evolution at WM 30 which is the equivalent of JR saying Jericho was the first WWE Undisputed Champion and beat Austin and Rock in the same night.
That's not surprising. Of course, we don't know all of this for sure yet. I figured that feud was around the corner. My guess is they have two PPV matches in the spring. I wouldn't be shocked if they tried to headline Summerslam with Reigns-Rollins. I'm also pretty sure Reigns-Rollins will be the new Cena-Orton for the foreseeable future with ten or so PPV matches in the next five years.
It's real early but they teased an Ambrose/Barrett/Dolph/Truth four way for the IC belt somewhere down the line on Raw tonight. It could be Mania I guess...
Not that that's any good, but it's a possible route now.
Bryan vs. Reigns - This was really good, but Bryan looked bad coming out of it. I hated that Reigns kicked out of the knee, but Bryan doesn't kick out of the spear.
Ryback, Ziggler, & Rowan vs. The Authority - Really solid 6-man tag. Rowan was great underneath. He was the best guy in the match. Rollins should have gotten the pin, not the old farts. The post-match was really fun though. Some probably hated it because of Orton. I enjoyed it.
I just read the lawsuit info. Amann ain't winning 1 million bucks as a private figure for compensation. Good luck with that.
And obviously truth is a big deal in this instance. If Punk was in fact not treated by Amann at all, then that's good for Amann. If what Punk said is true, then this is a fucking waste of time.
Dr. Chris Amann performs on WWE programming as a character named Dr. Chris Amann. Wouldn't that make him a public figure?
It would make him a public figure. There's different levels of public figures. He would fall in a lesser category. Although, I'm pretty sure any public figure, no matter what level, has to prove actual malice.
EDIT: Someone above made a pretty good post about the different kinds of public figures. I still think there's an argument to be made that he's a public figure. I think Amman certainly rides the line. It's crucial to determine that in court. Amann's lawlers will surely argue he's a private figure.
I've watched a bunch of Japan from the 80s and 90s since the project started. I'm confident Misawa, Kawada, Jumbo, Taue, Kobashi, Hansen, Fujiwara, Fujinami, and Choshu will all do pretty well on my list.
That honestly sounds like the Mania line-up down to a tee with the exception of Bray-Taker and inserting Sheamus as Bryan's opponent if Taker is ready for Mania.
I feel bad for Reigns. This is the grave for him and that's too bad. It was amazing to watch WWE try to cover the heat on him throughout the match and post-match. Bryan early elimination, Rusev last guy to eliminate, Authority's Big Show and Kane to throw out, Rock endorsing him, and Trips and Steph showing up on the ramp at the end. It was incredible to watch.
