It's tough because All Out showed that they are too over not to get the titles but it also showed Swerve and Lee have been really good tag champs so taking the straps from them so soon feels like we will be robbed of some dope tag matches. I think we have to let go of this perception. This year there has been a whole bunch of immediate (ish) rematches, and with the report of the W-L rankings having less importance going forward it feels like they Tony will book them as much as he deems necessary.

Danielson: "You say you're the heart and soul of AEW? WELL I'M THE GODDAMN HEART AND SOUL OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!" I'ma be pissed when he loses tonight. But I'm seeing the Rampage card and there's a n°1 contender match? Maybe there's a chance for Dragon after all... Anyways, stacked card with 5 title matches tonight and a big matchups for Rampage. Dynamite: AEW Interim Women’s World Championship Match: Toni Storm (c) vs. Serena Deeb vs. Athena vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D AEW All-Atlantic Championship Match: PAC (c) vs. Orange Cassidy ROH World Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Chris Jericho AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Swerve In Our Glory (c) vs. The Acclaimed AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson Rampage: Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royal for a shot at the AEW World Championship (Entrants include Lance Archer, Hangman Page, Penta El Zero Miedo, Jay Lethal). Jade Cargill vs. Diamante for the TBS Title Sting and Darby Allin vs. Brody King and Buddy Matthews in a No DQ match Action Bronson and Hook vs. Matt Menard and Angelo Parker Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Ricky Starks Eddie Kingston vs. Sammy Guevara Jungle Boy vs. Rey Fenix

It's been two weeks since All Out and people still arguing over alleged arguments about once side not having any blame when anyone with a functional brain came to realization long ago that both sides were at fault. At this point it seems this backstage fight will forever be discussed in pointless ways of showing which side was more in the wrong or not. Boring.

In the interviene with Ariel Helwani, HHH flat put said that Bray is constantly having new ideas, which was something he heavily praised but at the same time pointed as a reason for never really having a defined purpose or goal because Bray would go from one big idea to the next. Hunter implied he needed someone to make him focus and channel all that creative in a better way.

Would the US government really let that merger happen? Yes, I know money is the key to everything but merging NBC Universal with WB Discovery feels like going too far even for the loose notion of anti-monopoly laws in the States. And It truly amazes me how WB keeps getting passed around like this, lol.

Is the Logan Paul match a title match? -
I mean, it was preplanned in the sense that he sat in that press conference knowing he was going to ask Nick Hausman and ask him about Scott Colton. Shit, when Hausman told him that he wasn't close with Cabana and they hadn't been for a long time, Punk told him "you blew my spot". To me this whole thing is about The Elite behaving like children all the time and they crossed paths with someone that can behave like a child too, but in a different way. Page's line about Cabana than no one but Punk and like 50 people knew what it was about seemed to me that it was Page trying to get under Punk's skin but not in a way he ended up doing. Like sek said, it's about taking a slight jab and not figuring that the other person might just take it like a sign that the war is on.

That's two different meetings. The first one was 10 days before All Out were Tony talked about the new people in charge of talents relations and there was stuff like this Who knows what was the exact wording used by Omega but him being tough on the locker room was reported so we can't act like it's out of nowhere. The meeting that had supposedly everyone happy was the one before last week's Dynamite that was called by Jericho, Danielson and Mox. The fact there hasn't been any details about that one tells us that it was probably a successful one (Jericho complained at the All Out scrum that details of locker room meetings shouldn't be getting leaked). It was still funny reading Dave talking about "one person said it was the best meeting they've ever been a part of" because it read like Jericho was the one that told him that

The most shocking thing to me is how the Stokely segment didn't lose any viewers. I thought the whole thing was fine but it died a death with the live crowd and it certainly felt like it could've been better served as a video package instead of an in ring promo. I guess people really liked last week's show and the tournament is somehow creating legit intrigue?

I believe he said Mox had an angle ready for when he returned from vacation -which had to be scrapped-, not that there was going to be an angle to make him go on hiatus (and take his vacation). At least that was on WOR.
-
Much better than the PPV match, loved how they worked the leg injury for the final stretch. Now Mox has a target and Dragon an "out" to lose next week. I hope the tag title match closes next week though, that crowd is gonna be salivating for an Acclaimed W.
-
It's one thing to be tame but they've been dead for most of this show. Even the tag match had crickets for moments (specially after the commercial break, I'm watching the FITE feed) and Penta had to land a damn Canadian Destroyer on Keith Lee for them to show real life. The Acclaimed got a mild reaction compared to the last couple of weeks.
-
I think this is the worst crowd I've seen in the year I've been watching Dynamite.
-
Wait this is for the belts and got ZERO build/hype???
-
Man, this crowd SUCKS. Did Hobbs botched a busted lip or was it a weird coincidence?
-
Page kicking the indy pizza guy was the highlight of this first hour.
-
This should've been a 5 minute video package but oh well, the crowd better start getting use to it.
-
Well, Mox sure as hell is winning next week.
-
This was a quick commercial break. Maybe the main event is going long and I'm not sure that's a good idea after watching what happened at the PPV.

One of the most underrated parts of the post All Out media scrum was Jericho talking about MJF. How they were texting back and forth after Max's last promo before he was gone for months, with Jericho telling him he was going to become a huge babyface and MJF telling him he didn't want that because he didn't even know how to be a big face, lol. Jericho told him that it wasn't that hard and he could teach him how to do a babyface comeback in the ring and that was basically it
-
Page is a former world champion that had Danielson's number and did not cut an embarrassing promo like Sammy did.
-
I hope Sammy gets squashed in 5 minutes and Mox doesn't let him do 1 single flippy move.
-
Oh man that would be terrible on some many levels.
-
I'd love a Darby run to be honest but he needs a couple of feuds to get his heat back. Jungle Boy is gonna have a hard test with the coming program with Luchasaurus. I'm more worried about Starks though, it's clear the crowd wants to see him succeed in a bigger role but it doesn't seem Tony wants to give it to him.
-
I get that but at the same time, after the legit huge deal that was his comeback for the company, Punk's effect on a lot of metrics isn't THAT big to have Tony by the balls. Only thing we don't know about is merchandise, and maybe Punk was doing incredibly big numbers compared to the rest of roster (we will never known unless someone from AEW tells us). But anything else I see is an increase with Punk doesn't seem to be the kind of bump that couldn't be replaced by any other star AEW has if the company had legit good booking for a 4 month stretch. Which is something AEW has been lacking for close none months now. I mean, All Out was so badly booked that it basically relied entirely on Punk being from Chicago and it did not do good numbers so he's not THAT big of a draw/deal either.
