Yeah, my guess is that if he's going back to WWE it's because he asked to be released and it granted by TK. I think it's a loss off screen for AEW, as I think Regal was still working out with people before shows (doing it with Danielson) but as an on screen personality I think he was a huge let down. The best thing he did was the first vignette of the BCC and everything else was a mix of him being kinda lost out there and never finding his footing as the manager of a group that lost it's purpose very, very early on.

Kawada looks exactly as the ramen shop owner he currently is, I don't think even Eddie would like to fight him currently. I don't want Tony to support the heavy doses of HGH needed for him to go back to wrestling shape. Eddie vs Yuki Ishikawa though....book it Adderall Man!

LMAO at Tony repeating the same title matches now for ROH. The fuck is going on with him?
-
What the hell happened to the camera at ringside? couldn't see shit of that final submission. Match did not disappoint.

Not a bad call to make Hangman be the one to give Mox his vacation.
-
Maybe the TV never comes and Dragon gets his wish of wrestling on Youtube every week

Exactly Even in his latest interview, which I think is the reason all these "how he feels vs how he should be booked" arguments have started, he said that if Tony books him as champ, he'll be champ. It ain't like he's gonna walk out or stay home. He just prefers not having the spotlight, doesn't mean he suffers or hates having it if his boss tells him that's what he has to do.

Well, I'm back to watching for at least 1 week.

Same happened with his last stint in WWE where he didn't even want to main event Wrestlemania while fans wanted him to win the belt that night . Bryan is clearly more interested in himself and what he perceives the business needs from him than pushing for what a very vocal fanbase wants. And that's fine, but I don't think that's ever going to stop people from wanting to see him get the biggest spotlight possible. Even in 2 years when he's wrestling sporadically, there's still gonna be people calling for him to get a title run somewhere.

I never read you being happy or finding funny the exact type of shit when it happened in WWE. And boy did it happen in WWE for a long time. But it's whatever breh, you do you. If you disagree with my take that's fine. I don't think it's worth discussing over more than this.

One of the most disappointing stables ever? It's also a perfect example of TK's booking philosophy having glaring flaws. The whole thing started after Danielson came up with a promo off the cuff trying to do something different. Turned out that Mox loved the idea and pitched it to Tony, who bought it. From there they basically had the first month of the stable set: Regal coming in, the "auditions" to join them and elevating the picked guy (Yuta) and that awesome video package of them training. From then on it was a disjointed mess. They didn't have each other's back (very rarely did they save one of the members from a beatdown or confrontation), they barely interacted with each other (unless it was to have a confrontation within the group) and the group didn't have any purpose whatsoever after Blood & Guts.

I hope you realize you are basically the same but with The Elite. Stans are gonna stan.

Another Danielson wouldn't make much sense kayfabe wise. But I guess that if Jericho "has" to drop the belt, TK would put it on someone that can help him get that TV deal he so desperately wants, Dragon and Cole are probably his only two options. I listened to that interview and it was kinda funny how he confirmed every perception we have about him. If it was up to him, he'd be wrestling younger people on Dark all the time and not even be on TV much. It was interesting him saying that he would be champion if asked though, it's not like he's opposed to the idea, he just has other shit that makes him passionate about wrestling.

If MJF is a legit draw remains to be seen but basing the argument he isn't one compared to Moxley, who's title reign had abysmal attendances for TV tapings and mediocre ratings for the past 2 months is kind of a weird choice. Still, TK said this PPV might do very similar to All Out and it did a million dollar gate, which would be a good indication considering how cold the promotion has felt lately. Considering the main selling point of the event was Mox vs MJF it speaks well for both of them. We'll see how MJF fairs and how his reign is booked. It doesn't seem he'll be feuding with any heavy hitter in the AEW roster anytime soon, and the next PPV is 4 and half months away so we'll have a good amount of time to figure out if he can make a real difference for the promotion.

5 matches, one of them a part of the gauntlet Ricky is talking about.
-
I guess Starks and Wardlow get Dynamite title shots, I wonder who gets the PPV one, Revolution is gonna be in March so there's a looong time to figure that one out.
-
It was certainly easier to follow with "just" 10 matches but still felt 2 matches too long. I'm pretty sure Wardlow is getting the title back pretty soon so I wouldn't sweat Joe getting the W tonight.
-
You guys called it weeks ago, props.
-
That kick to MJF's knee to set up the piledriver was chef kiss.
-
Mox gotta stop copying the elbows and stomps from Danielson, every time he does them they look like shit.
-
Nah, they only woke up when Daddy Ass showed up and Swerve slapped Lee.
-
I really hope we get more from heel Swerve and he doesn't get thrown to the bushes for 3 months.
-
This crowd has not given this match any chance, sad. I've liked what they've done so far in the ring but the fans seem too tired.
-
Once Rebel showed up the match was enjoyable and the crowd woke the fuck up and gave Hayter a dope moment for her win.
-
Darby and Sting never getting a tag title shot is a travesty.
