WWE also suffers from the same people going in and out of main event programs for god knows how long so there's a staleness factor that isn't there at all with AEW. I do agree than on the women's side WWE has AEW beat by a wide margin even if Becky, Charlotte and Rhonda are played out at this point.

I'm a huge boxing fan and interim belts are sadly the least of the problems when it comes to issues of world titles and how promoters take advantage of them.

So here are the official "rules" for the interim belt So it's gonna be Tanahashi vs X at Forbidden Door. Mox has been building to a match against him for years now so it would make sense to culminate it in this kind of match. But TK has a lot of scenarios to play with. The least likely is MJF as that requires a fuck ton of explanation and writing to make sense, so my first gut feeling of who should get the interim belt was, as other pointed out, wrong. Who do y'all think faces Mox in next week's main event? Miro? Wardlow? Cole? Danielson? Jericho? Eddie?

I think this is before Dynamite? Mox got another singles W against García so that could've given him the push? How the hell is Cole 2nd after getting beat twice by Page??

The Punk stuff is a perfect example because the "pipe bomb" worked wonders as it built to a WWE title match. After that it continued into nonsense or stuff nobody wanted to actually see, like "Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque". This MJF stuff is basically someone bitching about not being treated fairly and wanting out of the company. That does not sound compelling at all to me nor something that's very new. Who could come to AEW's "rescue" and face MJF that could make all this worked shoot stuff worth it? I honestly have no answer.

That's a stretch, specially for guys like Punk and Danielson who so far have worked a number of different wrestlers on TV that they haven't interacted with since and were just there to have a new interesting matchup on TV.

I'm way more upset about Danielson not being booked for Dynamite (and it seems Rampage too) than anything involving him at DoN. I think we should've gotten an confrontation with Eddie before the Blood and Guts announcement. I guess the "drama" will be if Dragon actually joins the team for the cage match but him missing this week on TV doesn't sit right with me.
