It made the Bella twins stars, absolutely, but from what I recall, it never led to any overlap or increase in viewership for WWE shows. I really doubt this show would lead to any new fan checking out AEW.
Not reality TV, but it's sub-genre where rich people talk about how difficult their rich lives are. I am not saying the world will crap on it or give a shit about it, I am just saying I can totally understand why wrestling fans who know Cody and Brandi might not like the show
I hated that Sting spot. He keeps stealing Darby's spotlight and imagine anyone cheering for Sting over the Dark Order.
That aside though, this was a tremendous match. Match of the night
Legit question: where would you rank Kingston amongst the greatest promos of all-time? Cuz I am certain I have heard them all and I think he legit might be the greatest ever
Do you remember just how hot he was when the promotion started? Rewatching the very first segment of the first Dynamite, I get goosebumps. Now here he is cosplaying Bruno Sammartino against a Larry Z who isn't a protege but a teacher to whom showing this magnanimity is frankly insulting.
There's a definite overlap between who used to post at DVDVR 15 years ago and who posted and post on this board. Plus, this board is easily the closest spiritual successor modern online wrestling discussion spaces have to the old DVDVR. So he is probably at least aware of Loss and Will and their board
