  1. Is Eva Marie being considered someone good at character work simply cuz she sucks at wrestling and does a pose when she makes her entrance? She is like if Alexa Bliss had no personality or charisma. Hot women with no personality have always been dime a dozen in WWE, I doubt that it's one of the missing pieces of their puzzle right now.
  2. I will argue that I do not see an argument for Kobe over him. Russell and Wilt are way too difficult to compare so one way or another, I am not going to argue that. Kobe I just don't see.
  3. To be fair to my post, you also said he would struggle to make the all-decade team of any timeframe prior to his debut. Players today are bigger, stronger, more physical, and more skilled imo. You have bigs that shoot 30 ppg. Bron has one of the most rounded skillsets I have ever seen, and his longevity is incredible. Jordan's peak was higher and Bron is not the offensive dynamo that Jordan was, but his defence is more versatile (if only due to his size), his playmaking is Magic/Bird level, and he now has all of them beaten for longevity. I would put Jordan over him cuz Jordan was more clutch and had the ability to raise his game to a level almost unimaginable, and I think Bron is simply too nice and not enough of an asshole to achieve that. Altho I will say that if Jordan played in the social media era, he'd probably have had a meltdown within like 5 years of his NBA career.
  4. There is being blinded by nostalgia and fondness for your childhood, and then there is......whatever this is
  5. I meant his "..and I want my damn respect" yesterday. This goes along with "It's about damn time" after his first ring.
  6. Why would anyone be bothered by Bron winning one more ring? He has the best post-Finals quotes in NBA history.
  7. What a badass picture. Best story of the year in WWE, and that includes Roman's heel run and whatever nonsense Fiend is doing with Alexa
  8. Did they specify whether Bayley-Sasha will be HitC?
  9. No reason they couldn't have had someone else in the slot. It's not as if the Jericho-Luther connection is very deep. It is barely a connection. I honestly loved that silly twist at the end. They are dragging Jericho-MJF out and I am here for it. Great episode of Dynamite, mostly because of the amazing dog collar match and the really really fun hoss match at the beginning. Next week is going to be great.
  10. This is a bad match and a bad main event and if indulging Jericho means indulging shit like this, then Tony Khan should put his foot down.
  11. Serena managed to carry Swole to a good match. Love Mox's promos
  12. Seriously, he PUT THE CHAIN AROUND BRODIE'S TEETH AND YANKED IT HARD
  13. I would have had Brodie retain, but that was one of AEW's best matches ever and that finishing spot was SICK
  14. This match is incredible
  15. This match already rules. Cody's shtick can get overwrought sometimes, but his highs are incredibly high
  16. With his hair looking as evergreen as ever. Still not sure why Cody dyed his hair back to black
  17. The weenies bit is straight out of a terrible Raw segment. Bad stuff.
  18. Not just that, but in the Archer promo, he mentioned NJPW by name. Pretty sure it's the first time on AEW television. Theyusually used to say "in Japan" or "in the Tokyo Dome"
  19. I would have honestly put Hobbs over. When was the last time any major wrestling promotion made a huge new star by giving them a big win right off the bat?
  20. J.R botching Starks' name literally one minute into the podcast. At what point do they pull the plug on his decrepit ass
  21. 30 years of Jericho!
  22. You'll take Butler's performance over Jodan's flu/food poisoning game?
  23. Yeah this is a fair point, even Mox has a good shout.
  24. I agree with this. The problem was not that she was hammy or over the top. The problem was that she was terrible at expressing any kind of emotion. I don't think I have seen her express any genuine emotion apart from "Fucking Americans!!' Which, no offense to you all Americans here, does not take a lot of effort from any of us foreigners. I associate going over the top with how prime heel Mr. McMahon would react to Stone Cold Steve Austin fucking his happiness. And it used to be awesome every time. Now, of course, Vince is a once-in-a-generation performer, but my point is being over the top is actually good in wrestling when you are executing angles resembling soap operas.
  25. Very few comments actually make me laugh out loudly. This did. Well done, bubba.
