Not doubting you here at all, it is impossible for a single individual to keep track of everything, and in a lot of cases, an influencer is always influenced/made aware of their area of expertise by other people. I know we had an argument about Becky and women's wrestlers recently, but I agree about your larger point about Meltzer not paying enough attention to women's wrestlers and the larger trends in female pro wrestling; he is quite often very dismissive and too outcome-oriented, and almost seems to think that because AJW and joshi in general gave us tremendous wrestlers in the years' past, we should ignore structural barriers that female wrestlers have. It was in that regard that Casey was a huge contributor to wrestling in general, and again, not dismissing you at all, his absence will definitely impact women's pro wrestling in a negative way for years and years until someone occupies the space he did, if at all someone can do it. On a related point, while I plead ignorance about AQA, with female wrestlers, for obvious reasons, it's not just them having the physical talent that determines their eventual success, but also their mental and emotional reaction to working in an industry that constantly disrespects and dismisses them and their contributions, and reduces their worth to, to put it bluntly, how hot the men running the shows find them to be. It's almost a case of male wrestlers determining on their own how far these women should go, which honestly impacts their success on both sides of the spectrum, as we have seen with Kylie Rae and her unfortunate mental health issues.

That's an excellent video, thanks for pointing my attention to it. Not to be trivial about human life, but the death of Casey Michael is a huge stepback for women's wrestlers precisely because now there is no one who brings the attention of the pro wrestling audience to talented female wrestlers who might not have a forum to showcase their skills.

Good match, good Dynamite episode. Really wish the YB-FTR build was better, cuz it's honestly severely watered down a natural dream match. Also pls stop indulging Jericho's creativity, he is officially a boomer

Penta is such a charismatic force of nature, they should break up Lucha Bros and let both shine individually
-
Always weird when supernatural characters get injured lol Mox-Kingston faceoff should be the main event instead of fucking Shawn Spears
-
This is hardly a new opinion, but Serena is SO GOOOD

First time I am seeing this Layla wrestler, she is green but seems to have a lot of potential. Nasty strikes

Nice, it's been a while since we had a trademark chaotic AEW multi-person brawl

Not sure, but this development has me intrigued, I have to say. Having said that, the segment would have been much better and just as effective if it was limited to the last 2-3 minutes of what actually happened. I am beginning to hate Jericho's creative ideas. Big-time championship match, and J.R just goes "I am wondering how this match got made" Fuck him, worst commentator in wrestling

One is really good and gets wrestling naturally, the other runs WWE

Unlike Mox-Kingston, this Bucks-FTR stuff has been underwhelming. Classic Bucks overcomplicating a simple storyline. Seriously, they do it every time
-
Dynamite should just be 2 hours of Mox and Kingston cutting promos on each other. AEW has p4p the best promos top to bottom in a promotion since JCP at its 80s peak

This match is great. Page should stop doing a moonsault though, it looks shitty

RIP. One of the most influential wrestlers of all time

Bayley-Sasha was top 5 WWE match of the year imo. There was a point in the match when Sasha just railed on Bayley with ground strikes and it was so awesome. Also Sasha nearly fucking killed herself jumping STRAIGHT HEAD-FIRST into a steel chair set in the corner, just brutal brutal stuff

WWE TV 10/26 - 11/1 Afa and Sika endorsed the Usos getting beat up
MoS replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
So who is the face in Orton-Fiend then? They might as well give Alexa the title, it's not as if they have thought of a single good storyline for Asuka in a while. -
Remember when Drew needed the help of a bunch of legends to beat Orton and it was considered fine because at least he retained the championship? Well lucky for us, Orton now pinned him clean!! Way to make a top face!

This has firmly gone over to terribly hammy category. Hunter might be the son-in-law, but Shawn is the heir apparent

Agreed with everyone here. Bucks are best as heels but that also means holding off the FTR match until FTR turns and thus there is a clear face-heel dynamic in the match. In the last segment, Bucks seemingly turned back faces for no reason, and thus I had no reason to root for them or feel bad for them. I thought the musical was crappy. Absolutely terrible. And I am from India: every single major movie we make is a musical. I certainly have no issues with the concept in general. I spent my entire childhood singing and dancing along. This segment still cane out of nowhere and had no logic apart from the fact that Jericho wanted to do this stupid shit cuz he really, in his self-delusion, thinks he is a great singer. This was just minutes after Kingston and Mox cut all-time great level promos on each other. No wonder the quarter died in the ratings. Hopefully they never do it again.

This Jericho-MJF song shit is terrible and I bet this was Jericho's idea. His worst ideas ate absolutely horrible and this is actively ruining MJF for me

Love me some John Silver. The heart shudders thinking how WWE would have booked him
