  1. I thought I was the only one who noticed this guy. He's pretty much always there too.
  2. I just bought the Madusa book. I'll post my thoughts after I'm finished.
  3. We knew it was coming, but still sad news. Superstar Billy Graham influenced so many who came after him, from Hulk Hogan to Scott Steiner and more.

    AEW TV - May 17/19, 2023

Supposedly they're far apart again because Punk wants Ace Steel back. I assume all of this is misdirection to keep his return more of a "surprise." But yeah, Meltzer and Alvarez have completely shit the bed on every aspect of this story. They should - as Punk once told Seth Rollins - stop tweeting. Update:
  5. I'm shocked there isn't a ton of noise in this thread about Sami being officially booked for a Saudi show.
  6. The Guy Evans Nitro book is $2 on Kindle - an absolute steal at that price! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJWS2XF
  7. This is pretty much every AEW debut ever - aside from Punk, Moxley, Danielson (and even he was cooled off to a ridiculous degree for a while), and maybe Adam Cole and a couple of others. It's the single biggest problem with AEW. Great first appearance, and then a downward slide from there.
  8. These are the twelve wrestlers announced for the tournament: Seth Rollins Finn Balor Damian Priest The Miz Shinsuke Nakamura Cody Rhodes United States Champion Austin Theory AJ Styles Bobby Lashley Rey Mysterio Edge Sheamus
  9. Riddle never used to wear skimpy underwear tights, did he?
  10. Omos has really improved his showmanship. I wonder who's mentoring him.
  11. That's awesome!!! Must an electric atmosphere.

  13. They're okay to me! I was going to tell you that "The Legend of Baron To'a" is on Prime and Hulu (subscription services) and The Roku Channel (free with ads), but you're not from the U.S., so that won't help you much.
  14. I assumed Foxy quietly departed years ago.
  15. Plus, he's a transphobe, so fuck him.

  18. I highly doubt Bischoff gives a fuck about ever appearing on Raw again. If it's fun and they pay him well, sure, but I don't get the sense that it's any great concern of his.
  19. This Heyman-Seth segment is dire.
  20. Would that really be covered though? This book already goes into her political career, albeit briefly, culminating in her "ascension" into Trump's cabinet.
  21. I finished the Josie Riesman book, and I pretty much agree with all of the pros and cons everyone has posted here. So much of this, of course, we already know. But there is definitely new information sprinkled in too. To have it all in one place definitely paints a fuller picture. Ending it with 1999, more or less, didn't really bother me. To be honest, I'm not sure what else could really be covered. The author still touches on Trump, the recent sex scandals, etc. It's not as if those details are omitted. I honestly don't anticipate a follow-up book. If it happens, it will be because of strong sales and nothing else IMO.
  22. Everyone talks about Terry Funk and Jerry Lawler, as they should, but Bob Cook is right up there with them when it comes to his punching prowess.
