Oh yeah... that may be the biggest news coming out... Depending if Grimmas and Gene pick tonight... We would kick off free agency at 8am tomorrow if they finish... if not we will see how things finish.
-
No problem... John studd is back to the wwf
-
We've got 35 people to choose from here... What we are going to do is a 1 round quick draft... Then whomever is not chosen will be put into free agency. Free agency will be dealt with the 24 hour rule for three days to keep some assemblence of order. Everyone is moved to a 48 cap limit so you all get one free pick here. If you want to pick up someone else in free agency, you may need to drop... Here is the order... 1. Edgar 2. Fenton 3. LowBlow 4. Rain 5. Gordi 6. Kevin 7. Grimmas 8. Gene Bill Dundee Hillbilly Jim Black Bart Buddy Landell Eric Embry Adrian Adonis Bobby Jaggers Boris Zhukov Lanny Poffo Jimmy Golden Jesse Barr Kendo Nagasaki Al Madrill Brian Adias Paul Ellering Nightmare Danny Davis Nightmare Ken Wayne Fred Ottman Scott Casey Aaron Holt Denis Upton Jeff Sword Larry Hamilton Pat Rose Johnny Rich Mick Foley Jerry Saggs Brian Knobbs

Only one pick only one round.

I randomized the list 30 times...here we go... 1. Edgar 2. Fenton 3. LowBlow 4. Rain 5. Gordi 6. Kevin 7. Grimmas 8. Gene I will make the thread tonight and we can just be done with it.
-
It will be randomized. Mexico and Japan can be involved if you want... I think there are some who could travel for sure.
-
We will give it a plus 1 with the draft so everyone can get a freebie from the roster.
-
Gene officially takes over the CWA roster. Rock N Roll Express are now freelancers with Jerry Lawler. Edgar, if you can update that when you're free. Any word on the Memphis draft? I have Larry Z booked through March 31st... but as long as whomever gets him is okay with him finish his dates, we could have this draft this week and just be done with all the turnover for the time being?
-
Gene says he's interested in coming back to take over Continental... We would then keep Lawler as a freelancer and then move the Rock N Roll Express to freelancers as well. The rest of the Memphis roster would be put into a 1 round quick draft for the rest of us with the rest going into free agency. How does this sound?

Gene is interested in jumping back in due to his work training being done. Working on some ideas right now

-With the top three matches signed, the rest of the card will begin to take shape in coming weeks. One match that has been heavily talked about is a tag team encounter with the Fantastics and the Hart Foundation. There is talk of Tito Santana and Andre the Giant taking on Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake. WWF officials have also reached out to Antonio Inoki to have him come in to face either Harley Race or King Kong Bundy...

Always fun to see Lutte kick off the month and there is some fun tag team action coming up. With the impending feud of the WWF and their return to Montreal, fun to see what they are up against.
-
Like seeing the varsity club come together. Also interested in a Rude vs Rose match... interesting match to say the least there. Also love the build of Steamboat and like the course of Orndorff right now.
-
Bad news for the American Dream... with Lawler in the works for everyone... this could really go crazy. I also love the over gimmicked conest with Duggan and Reed... classic Mid South/UWF there... I am also big on the Perfect Alliance and wonder what a 1985 version of that team could have actually done. Very good stuff here from the most consistent of promotions...

WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from St. Louis, MO – Kiel Auditorium Ron Bass w/ Jack Lanza defeated Bob Scott Blackjack Mulligan: I have had just about enough of Ron Bass and his good for nothing friend Jack Lanza. Lanza, you and I have been up and down the road together for a long time partner… but Ron Bass… son… you are doing for the whooping of a lifetime and I am going to give it to you! Tito Santana defeated Tony Zane Jimmy Hart: Baby what a great time it is to be part of the Hart Foundation! Tito Santana, I have got Brutus Beefcake all lined up for his big showdown with you in just a couple of weeks and those flowing lock on yours are going to be cut down to size. HAHAHA! The Hart Foundation w/ Jimmy Hart defeated Rick McGraw & Tony Garea -A great showcase for the Harts who continue to show why they are the tops. Gorilla and Bobby put over how they will be challenging the British Bulldogs in due time for the titles and we could be in for new champs! EVENT CENTER WRESTLEMANIA Live on March 31st from Madison Square Garden! MAIN EVENT WWF CHAMPIONSHIP Hulk Hogan © vs Roddy Piper INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage © w/ Elizabeth vs Jake Roberts TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs © vs Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams Jake Roberts defeated Brady Boone Randy Savage: Ohhh yeaaahhhh…. Jake Roberts the match is set and it is going to be me and you… yeah… now I know it is about the title but brother I don’t think I can contain myself. In front of 20,000 fans screaming for the Macho Man and millions around the world they will know that Randy Savage is the man who put Jake Roberts down and defending the honor the lovely Elizabeth!!! YEAH! MAIN EVENT The Youngbloods vs Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams -Gino and Adams really get some great heat from the crowd and work well enough together. Gorilla and Bobby talk about how these two are primed for a tag team title shot and with those Mexican titles Heenan says once they beat the Bulldogs, they may be the best in the world. We see a slick Suplex/Cross Body combo as Adams hoists up Mark Youngblood while Gino leaps from the top rope with the cross body for the 3 count. These two look as good as can be but will it be enough for the titles in a couple of weeks?

Dean Ambrose is the worst live wrestler I've ever seen. Misses punches and kicks right and left.
-
It's from the sheets... who knows...
-
From the sheets... Some rumored matches include a six-man with Tony Atlas & The Machines taking on Harley Race & The Faces of Fear... a bodyslam match with Andre vs Bundy. There is even talk of a Japanese star coming in to take on Brutus Beefcake as a favor to Hulk Hogan. The tag title match should be a rematch of the Bulldogs taking on the Russians while Randy Savage is expected to defend the title against Harley Race, Jake Roberts, or even Gino Hernandez in a rematch.

I know that I have been doing this for over 8 years now and sometimes we get feedback and sometimes we don't and sometimes that sucks. I am thankful for the feedback from everyone who does give it, but I am at the point where I almost write for myself just to tell the story and then if people like it enough to comment, it is a little extra fulfilling. I know people read but don't comment and it just kind of makes me want to do something a little more special for their inclusion down the line. I really enjoy all the writing that we do here. In fact, I am proctoring an ACT test right now and have written WrestleMania, so now I get to use the hype thread and make it really seem like a big deal. I wish there was a better way to show that your work is appreciated, but just know that it is and we love to have any and all participate in either booking or comments.

WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from New York, NY – Madison Square Garden The Fantastics defeated Los Conquistadors -Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton are back in MSG after over a year. They have a lot of fire and really bring it in the ring and the crowd seems to support them. How will they fit in this already exciting tag team division? *COMMERCIAL* Tito Santana & Tony Atlas vs Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake w/ Jimmy Hart -A very fun contest with Valentine & Brutus getting a big victory. It was in part to Jimmy Hart who got involved but we saw Dino Bravo come out and try to stop him. *COMMERCIAL* Super Machine vs “King” Harley Race w/ Bobby Heenan -Race won this contest via DQ when the Machines did the switch but didn’t try to hide it and then attacked Race and Heenan. The crowd went nuts for this as Super and Strong Machine worked the crowd! *COMMERCIAL* TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The British Bulldogs © vs Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams -This one ended in a double count out. Adams and Hernandez were heat magnets and they really got the crowd going. It was a very fun contest but no clear-cut winner at this point.
