  1. And by he I mean Jesse... so he hasnt wasted time picking them and such.
  2. Just make a call on what to do with guys he drafted...
  3. Bruno got banned due to behavior on the other project... I will try and get his posts cleaned up. We'll figure out what to do with Portland soon... let's let it marinate for a while.
  4. If it from Ja pan your good but if it is from the mix you should wait.
  5. At this point ecwa still has a pick from the last round. In round 6 uwfi is up with wwf on deck but I think we should figure out business with wwf before jumping ahead too far.
  6. Do the guys he drafted get released then? Does he bring them with?
  7. We'll make a decision on Portland later this week. The roster is in hold as it stands.
  8. I will admit some sadness to see Dr. Death go but I think that the direction I am going he may get lost i the shuffle so I was also happy to see him go so I wouldn't be faced with that booking decision.
  9. Bloodust...dibs on the name... it's gonna be awesome.
  10. ECW UWFi USWA M-Pro
  11. I don't know much about Yoshinari Ogawa but everything I am seeing and reading, he looks to be a pretty good hand.
  12. FMW is up!
  13. Giant Baba stands up and walks to the podium to announce the signing of Yoshinari Ogawa
  14. WCW proxies their pick... they select The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith!
  15. I like that pick up if Konnan for sure. He is a good hand around this time with the right people.
  16. He will probably break his first opponent's leg out of spite...
  17. Exactly. It is all about how you use em that counts. Hansen was a stud in AJPW so he will continue to be that.
  18. I'm just mentioning that all you do is criticize everyone else's moves, but when someone does it back to you, you get all defensive. I love my pick of Austin there and he will be a major player long after Hansen has been retired. I think you either don't remember his run in WCW in the Hollywood Blondes and his singles work there when he was a top 10 worker in the US. Injury and politics (Hogan and friends) derailed Austin there and he won't have that problem in the WWF. As much as I LOVE Hansen, see my name), Hansen is a 8th-12th round pick due to his age. You use the fact that he WAS a legend in Japan as your reasoning for the pick. I'm using the same reasoning in reverse with Austin. He became a major player in the US within 12-18 months after going to Vince. However after thinking about it, I apologize for hurting your feelings. You run your WWF the way you imagine it and I will run All Japan the way I do. Good luck.
  19. {Zips mouth shut}
  20. So wait, your argument highlights the point I made earlier when I called out that you would pick Austn and you are subsequently pointing out that your going to push him when in reality he was a year away from it. Not to mention the guy that got him over, Bret Hart, you skipped out on... I dare say Stan Hansen, in the twilight of his career (I mean 4-5 years really), has a little more in the tank for the time that this game will be going that Steve Austin at this point in his career as he doesn't have the momentum and the time in ECW to actually hit the "IT" factor that caused him to get over as well as he did. We all know he had it in him the entire time, but in reality it was his short run in ECW that isn't going to happen, and a great series with Bret Hart, than isn't going to happen, that really made him get over... so you have thus killed any sense of realistic feel to the development of someone like him and you haven't even booked a match yet.
  21. Yeah in 5 years... I'll definitely get some use out of him in that time... SMH
  22. I wanted to add on to Matt D's comment about how thin it was but how name values are the most expensive commodity. I still stand firm on my pick for Eddie Guerrero... dude was a workrate monster and I think he would have transitioned well into the All Japan scene and would be a solid foundation for a juniors division even in 1995.
  23. I don't know if we will be around for 5 years but he definitely has some immediate use for the next two. The guy could still go for a 20-minute match and that may be all I need him for...
  24. I know he doesn't have a lot of time left but Hansen still had something in the tank and can be useful with some of the aforementioned plans.
  25. Giant Baba stands up and proceeds to walk to the podium and jump two spots in line, knowing that his pick won't affect RevPro or OVW. He announces the resigning of former Triple Crown champion and perhaps the most famous American to ever wrestle for All Japan... Baba selects Stan Hansen to start the 4th round!
