Mid-South - AWA - Southeastern - Big Time - Memphis - WWA - Florida – MACW - Stampede -
-
I think if we did the draft it would have to be mid year though right? To kind of play off the ones who have started and the one who will start? I am game for either... I'd hope we'd keep the fresh face order that we just agreed upon as I just need to add MACW then Stampede to the list.
-
This one should be done by the end of the weekend... Sunday that is. Then we can set up the January draft upon its completion... that one should go quicker. I will work on getting it set up as soon as this one concludes.
-
I don't know... but I guess I am going to go with Eddie Hogan aka Brutus Beefcake... he doesn't quite fit my mold but I have got some ideas for him.
-
I agree... just slipped my mind to put them in there from the get go. I didn't view them as part of a dispersal draft of all existing talents. That's on me.
-
I just want to make sure someone didn't NOT get someone from free agency by throwing them in there so late as they weren't part of the start of the draft is all I meant.
-
Actually the free agents were not part of this draft. They were not intended to be mixed with these talents but I have added that group to the list for those interested. S.D. Jones is returning to Mid South.

Stampede is currently up and has about 12-minutes to pick as per the 12 hour rule for the remaining rounds. After those 12-minutes AWA is allowed to move forward and Stampede can jump back in with his two picks when he gets back on. For the rounds with just Stampede and MACW, following the order... one individual will actually two people per round... but with the snake order, MACW will pick two people then Stampede will pick two to finish that round and then two to start the next round and this process will go on until we conclude.
-
The Japanese guys would be for will if he got back in for us to loan.
-
That probably does it for the night. Stampede will pick when he gets back on. Would anyone be opposed to Stampede and MACW picking two people at a time for those last 10 rounds turning it into 5 so we can get back to business?
-
I know that Boris Zhukov had that kind of affect on people!

Scott Casey to Mid South

This may be a formality but I wanted to address it to the population here. I know that there was a lot of resistance by others to have our rosters grow to the lengths that they have along with getting some bigger named talent like we have. I want to stress what our product is and how you have to take things into account when bringing in some of these new people. It may be difficult to just jump in and try and have a brand new roster for all intensive purposes but I want to give some help with it. For me... I have got three more shows before I go on "break" for December to the new year. I looked back at results from Mid South in real life. Most of you should have access to some kind of results from your various territories. I then looked at the people I have picked and decided which of them could jump into the promotion with little to no need of development. Guys like Duggan, Magnum TA, and Bundy are known in Mid South so they can be introduced a little easier than someone like John Studd. John Studd has up to this point in "real life" never wrestled in the Mid South area outside of the small stint that WCCW had. This is going to be an opportunity to try and build him as a character and spend time on it. My biggest fear for everyone is that you try to do too much too quick. We have already seen a ton of burnout for one reason or another. Long story short, this isn't an overly easy thing to do and to commit to and to be good at. The biggest thing to look at over the next three months is to look at all the individual with whom you have drafted and spend time bringing them in. I know for Mid South, I am going to have 2-3 months of television and house shows to start to get guys like the Moondogs and Zhukov introduced in Mid South at this point in their careers. Remember that this is a marathon and work well on the development of these characters and invest time in them to make them special. This is an AWESOME shot in the arm for the project to have this talent influx on our rosters... like I said, I just want to make sure everyone takes the time to build these characters and build your promotions. If all else fails... cut down on some of the "main" people and slow down with your roster and then build back up. Remember this is a territory system and utilizing new talent and developing talent is the key to success.

There was a lot of talent to try and weed through... I am still wondering why you haven't done Precious vs Sunshine
-
I believe I have got the front page updated. We should be able to cruise through this... I think I have it planned out where those of us who saved can go up to 21 but the others can go up to 31

We have not open up our world to England yet. That may be something we look at once week settling on North America outside of Canada that is. So no William Regal is not available.
-
Hickerson is back in June Gary Young isn't back till 85.
-
I guess you could inherit him as a figure head. That would be an interesting turn of the tide lol.
-
ah ok. I didn't realize that. it was just weird and popped out to me. When I started, I offered to just have Gino and Houston and then work from there but he was inactive. He is one of my all time favorites and a guy who could literally control the tide of a company and carry it if he hadn't fallen to drugs. Just too bad.
-
Yep, he was out of the business for a year, possibly doing work on Farrah Fawcett... He returns in May.
-
Can anyone confirm if the Sheik retired in 1984? I've been looking everywhere and he is barely active from 1984 - 1991. Should we still use him as a freelancer?
-
Okay guys, I consider my self a pro wrestling connoisseur, but it is safe to say that debut dates are not my forte. Through some basic research I have come up with this list... we will utilize this list for the fresh face and "return" drafts as we have some guys coming back into the business in 1984. Here is the list. PLEASE... help finding out other people who debuted in 1984 and 1985. I have a base line list here to go from, so if we can do some more research and find people, it will help our cause for those fresh face drafts and what we can do with them. 1984 January Tommy Heggie John Quinn The Spoiler David Morgan Lou Winston February Italian Stallion Tom Zenk New Guinea Man Eater aka Botswana Beast, Kamala II Billy White Cloud Thomas Ivy David Johnson Wendell Cooley David Haskins Manuel Villalobos Johnny Rapone Mickey Doyle Jay York Rick Renslow March Jushin Liger April May Gino Hernandez Pat Tanaka Steve Simpson June Phil Hickerson Kendall Windham Nikita Koloff Woman July August Steve Armstrong Baby Doll September Tracey Smothers October Great Muta Masa Chono Scott Hall Shawn Michaels Dan Spivey Jim Powers November December Paul Roma 1985 January John Nord Nick Kiniski February Lance Von Erich Paul Diamond March April Bart Sawyer May June Mick Foley July August Bam Bam Bigelow Miss Elizabeth September Yokozuna Brady Boone Tom Brandi October Lex Luger November Chris Benoit The Ultimate Warrior Luna Vachon Sting December Missy Hyatt Please post any other people with whom you think started out around these times so that we can add them to the lists whether they are big names or not so we can put these drafts together.

Mid South is going to go with Rex and Spot.

I will update that in the coming days. I have a link out there but I want to make it more clear for everyone. I am also working on the fresh face list which I am going to post for us to edit and change so we know who is coming out when. All those things will be updated tonight hopefully.
