  1. Owen Hart turning on Bret. It was done so well and Owen cut some amazing promos to put it over and make it realist that he was a jealous young brother who was looking to step out of the shadow and show he was better.
  2. Boris Zuhkov to Mid South
  3. All set.
  4. Well the only thing to remember is that once you're done you only have those people that you kept in the people that you drafted. Once the draft is completed than anybody who was not drafted from your unprotected list will come back to you so you can utilize the pics after the 10th round 2 pickup enhancement talent. I think that after around 10 we will go to a 12 hour window just to speed things up so that we can hopefully be done with this by Sunday. How does that sound to everyone?
  5. I think we are at a point in the draft now where we will start to see some of those extra pieces come into play and people are going to start filling out their rosters with their enhancement and lower card talent. I know that I have roughly 20 people on my roster right now as active wrestlers so I only have 16 more spots to fill and put some extra pieces into place
  6. Awa is up. Let's try and get through the 10th round today. Keep doing work!

I want to let you fans know that we have got some great action planned this evening and without a doubt, we will see fists of fire as tonight, the Masked Superstar and Don Muraco are going to team up against Wrestling II and ThunderBolt Patterson. Last week we saw the Fantastics eliminate the Blackjacks, but tonight they are in six-man action with Wahoo McDaniel taking on the Blackjacks and Ted Dibiase. Ken Raper & Pete Sanchez vs The Wild Samoans -The Wild Samoans come in and rip these two guys limb from limb here. The crowd isn’t sure how to handle the Samoans as Raper and Sanchez are just destroyed in the middle of the ring. This one is over before it really gets going when Afa and Sika hit a pair of bodyslams. Afa then throws Sika to the ropes and picks him up for a spinebuster but falls backwards and crushes Sanchez for the 1…2…3!! The Samoans will defend the titles on the 17th against the Fantastics who are going to be in action later on this evening… Ross puts them over in a big way…. *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Ross putting over the recent events of Mid South Wrestling and the big double night showcase from Houston on the 16th and 17th of December. Jim Ross says that the December 21st and 28th editions of Mid South Wrestling will be special edition episodes highlighting the stars of Mid South and some of the best matches from the fall. Ross then begins to lead into the next contest… El Bracero vs Mad Dog Boyd -A great little showcase for Bracero who is really catching fire with the Mid South crowd. The fans are solidly behind him as he hits a nice flying cross body for the 1….2…3! Bracero works the crowd but we hear something from the back… wait a moment… it is Superstar Billy Graham! -Jim Ross is going nuts putting this over and says that tonight is the night that Superstar was going to reveal what he’s been talking about. Superstar has got someone following him and he’s got a cloak over his body. Superstar gets into the ring and begins to put this man over one more time but then he grabs the back of the cloak and reveals… -Jim Ross is not sure what to make of this guy. He puts over his physic in a big way as Graham then announces… SuperstarBilly Graham: I told the world. I told everyone. Look at this body. Look at this physic. Look at the man of the hour. The man with the power. The highlight maker. The heart breaker! This is the man who has a plan daddy. This the man who will rule the world. This is the one who oozes ravishing and the one who is too rude… ladies and gentlemen… the ravishing one… Rick Rude! -The crowd gives Rude a little rumble but more boos than anything. Superstar is showing him off like a piece of steak while in the aisle El Bracero is walking back and shaking his head. Rude doesn’t appear to be pleased. Jim Ross says that we will have more hwne we come back! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW Wrestling returns with Jim Ross putting over the debut of Rick Rude. Ross says that Bill Watts may be joining us after this contest. Ross puts over the history of these four men and builds up what could be a very special contest as we head to the ring… ThunderBolt Patterson & Mr. Wrestling II vs Masked Superstar & Don Muraco w/ Paul Jones -A pretty hot contest with four of the big stars of Mid-South right now. Jones is doing everything he can outside the ring to keep his men on the same page. We get some fists of fire with Wrestling II/Muraco & Patterson/Superstar. The fun occurs when the teams mix and Wrestling II and Masked Superstar have got something brewing between the two of them and it spills outside the ring. We have some chaos but when it comes down to it we see Paul Jones NAIL ThunderBolt in the back of the head with the TV Title! ThunderBolt stumbles into Muraco who grabs him for a PILEDRIVER and the 1….2…3!!! This one isn’t over as we have some chaos inside the ring with officials and agents breaking up the action. Jim Ross then says there is a commotion in the back. We see a quick camera angle and it is the ONE MAN GANG CHOKING OUT JYD WITH HIS CHAIN! WE WILL BE BACK! *COMMERCIAL* -MSW returns with Jim Ross putting over the attack from the One Man Gang. Ross says that he isn’t sure if the JYD will be able to wrestle here tonight… we then see Bill Watts come out. Watts and Ross go back and forth on the events and then Watts proclaims… Bill Watts: It has been an interesting turn of events over the past couple of weeks. Ted Dibiase takes on Bobby Fulton... Wrestling II vs Masked Superstar... and The Rock N Roll Express vs The Midnight Express!!
  8. WWA back up then stampede for 2
  9. I think it is updated now... Great picks all around. My 37 big board is down to 5 and I am guessing it will be down to nothing when all is said and done and I get to pick again!
  10. I will get it done soon I'm at work right now.
  11. And the last couple rounds have definitely depleted what I have left for a big board so from here on out it is all the accompanying pieces
  12. Jimmy Hart and the first family coming to Mid Soutb... YES!
  13. Tonga John to mid south - the barbarian!!
  14. Jimmy Hart to Mid South
  15. For sure... Borne has a ton of upside and I enjoyed his mini run in Mid South. I definitely want to see him come back in at some point.
  16. I think that Dex is right. I don't know if I would be all in for one governing body over everyone as I believe each one of us has our own agenda for what What we are trying to accomplish. I think that in our world we have already seen the WWF collapse and even with the recent events of Starrcade not taking place the top spot is definitely up for grabs and for all intensive purposes the AWA has the majority stock. Now with all of the things that we have done over the past two weeks the NWA could come together and put together a Starrcade to take place in Christmas it would just take planning and then I think that those two governing bodies while we all work together would definitely have some competition with some outliers simply working on their own and having joint relationships with both.
  17. I think we've established more individualized promotions than to just have one world champion... however the NWA promotions and AWA promotions and those of us on our ownish while utilizing those champions and our own regional champions work pretty well. It will be nice to see as it unfolds once shows start coming and we begin firing on all cylinders in 1984.
  18. It is what the reality of the NWA was though. It adds that realism to what we've got going on here for sure. If the Alliance is ran well it can truly be effective and really pump up when the NWA champion comes to town to take on a high profile heel or face or the regional champion.
  19. I think Memphis has to find out what they want their relationship to be. Are they a promotion that sees both the AWA and NWA on the same level or does he value one "world" champion over the other. He could always tread the line and invite both promotions in and out if individuals from the NWA and AWA both think that is okay. It is all the choice of those who work with him.
  20. That's what the NWA is Pwsony. Those individuals in the NWA vote on the "World Champion" and now moving towards the "World Tag Team Champions" while each promotion can have regional champions and then bring in the NWA world Champion for special shows.
  21. I dare say that I am very excited to see what the AWA looks like after the draft. With the guys that you drafted and the guys that you currently have, I could see some amazing feuds coming out of this. I think one guy in particular I'm very interested in seeing is Tito Santana. I think that 1983-84 was probably his prime as a wrestler so to see him come in at this point and what he could do I think it will be great. I would love to see him up against Orndorff or Jimmy Garvin who may also have his hands full as his brother Ron is also coming in. Put all of this together with Hogan's eminent return in mid-december and the AWA is going to be a powerhouse to really jump ahead in early 1984
  22. I hope people don't view you as the humbug in any way. You liked your roster and you built it the way you wanted. No harm in that at all in my book. I think for the rest of us we were just looking for different pieces to the puzzle. If anything you have the step ahead by still getting some great talent out of the draft but still holding on to what brought you to this point with little to no change.
  23. What are people's opinions on the guide I wrote up? Are there things I am missing? Does it encompass most of what we're doing??
  24. I'd also like to add that Goodhelmet, as long as he'd like, is still a silent silent partner with Baba and Inoki's votes.
  25. From my understanding it was... Mid Atlantic WWA Florida Stampede - Associate Memphis - Associate Mid South - Associate Big Time would be a promotion if they wanted to be they could. But I do think that some of those in charge of the NWA have to look at how promotions are functioning with both or if the NWA is okay with it. Obviously in cases like Memphis, their individuals are coming in and out. I know I have an association with the AWA but nothing more than some talent here and talent there. I don't recognize their champion as the world champion. With this hiccup in the NWA, I would say that until something is resolved by the powers that be, Mid South still recognizes the NWA Champion as the world champion but would like to see the stability before moving forward with its association.
