It is what the reality of the NWA was though. It adds that realism to what we've got going on here for sure. If the Alliance is ran well it can truly be effective and really pump up when the NWA champion comes to town to take on a high profile heel or face or the regional champion.

I think Memphis has to find out what they want their relationship to be. Are they a promotion that sees both the AWA and NWA on the same level or does he value one "world" champion over the other. He could always tread the line and invite both promotions in and out if individuals from the NWA and AWA both think that is okay. It is all the choice of those who work with him.

That's what the NWA is Pwsony. Those individuals in the NWA vote on the "World Champion" and now moving towards the "World Tag Team Champions" while each promotion can have regional champions and then bring in the NWA world Champion for special shows.

I dare say that I am very excited to see what the AWA looks like after the draft. With the guys that you drafted and the guys that you currently have, I could see some amazing feuds coming out of this. I think one guy in particular I'm very interested in seeing is Tito Santana. I think that 1983-84 was probably his prime as a wrestler so to see him come in at this point and what he could do I think it will be great. I would love to see him up against Orndorff or Jimmy Garvin who may also have his hands full as his brother Ron is also coming in. Put all of this together with Hogan's eminent return in mid-december and the AWA is going to be a powerhouse to really jump ahead in early 1984

I hope people don't view you as the humbug in any way. You liked your roster and you built it the way you wanted. No harm in that at all in my book. I think for the rest of us we were just looking for different pieces to the puzzle. If anything you have the step ahead by still getting some great talent out of the draft but still holding on to what brought you to this point with little to no change.

What are people's opinions on the guide I wrote up? Are there things I am missing? Does it encompass most of what we're doing??

I'd also like to add that Goodhelmet, as long as he'd like, is still a silent silent partner with Baba and Inoki's votes.

From my understanding it was... Mid Atlantic WWA Florida Stampede - Associate Memphis - Associate Mid South - Associate Big Time would be a promotion if they wanted to be they could. But I do think that some of those in charge of the NWA have to look at how promotions are functioning with both or if the NWA is okay with it. Obviously in cases like Memphis, their individuals are coming in and out. I know I have an association with the AWA but nothing more than some talent here and talent there. I don't recognize their champion as the world champion. With this hiccup in the NWA, I would say that until something is resolved by the powers that be, Mid South still recognizes the NWA Champion as the world champion but would like to see the stability before moving forward with its association.

That's the nice thing about those two in a row picks... makes getting some of those separated teams together.

WWA back up Not a problem Pwsony, we are making it through this thing and should get at least 2 more if not 3 more rounds done today. I know I have a small list of guys left before I look at the finish line. Let's just keep the pace as this has been a huge success in my opinion and really giving us some great stuff to work with going in 1984.

Stampede is up back to back then WWA
-
It was one or the other... whomever didn't get picked was going next. Had them in that order so it works.

Mid South gladly welcomes in Big John Studd!
-
Haha... he is the SUPERSTAR! I have been watching him in the NWA with Landell... some fun untapped talent.

Barry Darsow to mid south Memphis up w 3 picks I believe

I like the idea. I would say that those in the nwa need to look at the world title situation as well since Starrcade never technically happened.

Jhawk has built an amazing tag division from this. I'm interested how the French will do in St Louis. I thought about playing them off in New Orleans but couldn't figure out the best storyline to fit.
