  1. ^^^ Lol - I wish he wasn't!
  2. http://bigelow34.proboards.com/board/183/world-wrestling-federation There's how I used to type up shows. Interesting to see the evolution. Hopefully it helps some of you guys.
  3. JCP will have Hansen the second to last Thursday the following Thursday for TV and the final Saturday. I apologize I don't know the dates.
  4. Looks like Tonga Kid will be without any Samoan help in JCP. Can he rise to the greatness that was bestowed on him or will he flounder under the pressure?
  5. I am helping Beast and We have a solid foundation with everything. I am just putting my name out there for consideration when the time comes. I have no problem running one and helping another if needed.
  6. I guess I wanted to formally put my name down as a first alternate if someone were to close down. Is this the correct spot for that?
  7. I know the pick but I think Beast needs to confirm. He should be around soon.
  8. I like the idea of the President not booking the champion - almost like we have the freelancer stuff going on. The president can be in control and take part in overall operations. We'd need a job for a third person... what could be other tasks that they could do without having fiscal responsibilities?
  9. Is there a way to consolidate this whole discussion and break it down to which companies are in the NWA and then have the owners get together to make some guidelines like - how long a presidential term is - how will we vote on NWA champion - how to go about letting people into the NWA. Then we could vote on the President and even see if there are 2 or 3 spots that hold clout. I am thinking of something like the President gets 3 votes, the 2 vice presidents or whatever we call them get 2 votes, then the rest of the members get 1 vote kind of thing. Any thoughts?
  10. When I ran my first draft- we had 16 picks - 1 pick for promotion and then 15 worker picks. It took a while but went smooth.
  11. Beast and I are in discussions for Crockett... this is a huge project, I am looking forward to it.
  12. So I guess the next question would be, to make it easier, is there a list of promotions that are still open with full time wrestlers?
  13. I ran the Territory Wars over at the Place to Be for 7 years - I'd like to get back in the game. I have quite the resume with over 500 shows and 300 consecutive Monday Night Raws. I'd be willing to try and make Houston legit if possible - I know there are specific rules, but a guy like Gino Hernandez was a full time guy with Houston. Someone let me know.
  14. I would be interested in opening up Houston Wrestling if there is still a position available. I know I am late to the party, but I have a lot of history with this kind of thing and would love to join.
  15. Thanks a lot Dynamite. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I like the idea of Flair in WWF and with those wins, he would definitely lay claim to one of the best years in the history of pro wrestling!

  24. Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Low Blow Booking Podcast! Join Derek Cornett and Patrick Fenton as they take on the world of wrestling in 1992. Derek and Patrick put together a monumental 8-man trade between the WWF and WCW in mid January of 1992 to reshape each of these promotions and the future of these competitors. Derek and Patrick put together a two part show with this first edition covering the set up, the trade, and the first six months of 1992. Derek takes over the reigns of WCW and looks to contend with some of the big names leaving and even bigger names coming in for short runs later in the year. Patrick takes over the WWF and tries to contend with some huge stars making an impact in the beginning of the year and a mass exodus of superstars towards the end. How will these two men run their shows and put together a product that will keep the popularity of pro wrestling from the late 80s running through the early 90s?
