I think this qualifies under this thread. To give context for this episode, it's Monster Factory Owner Danny Cage, current ROH star QT Marshall, and Blue Meanie giving a candid talk to the guys who want to train there as a part of their three day seminar. It explains the history of the Monster Factory and attitude in the business. This is an absolute must watch for anyone who wants to pursue wrestling. https://youtu.be/s_xP61jhkoc

Get in the Ring Good Ol' Will Interview
dkookypunk43 replied to dkookypunk43's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Yeah I'm trying to not be disrespectful at all. I like learning new things and listening to people beyond my years talk -
I agree
-
I turned down Dusty Rhodes who was arguably the biggest star in 83. Why in the blue Hell would I take Kerry's offer of SGT Slaughter
-
So he secretly wanted Ted Dibiase
-
Lmao Why lmao Jerry
-
It was really hard to choose one guy for Mid South to save. You have 4 legitimate stars in Dibiase, JYD, Duggan, and Magnum. It depends on who you want to build a promotion around.
-
Can I draft freelancers? Or anyone can have them
-
I'm saving Ted Dibiase
-
No problem. I was pretty busy yesterday when all this was going on. I apologize if I delayed anything
-
Alright I can do that
-
What's left I'll take whatever

Hey guys, Since I'm new to the board I thought better way to introduce myself than to tell you what I look for in a wrestler and some of my favorites. My list is a hodge podge of different things. This is a sort of what I enjoy in wrestling and matches I have fun watching. The list: 10) Terry Funk; This is a discovery that I've evolved into loving. I first saw Terry Funk on the Bloodsport ECW's most violent matches DVD and seeing this crazy old bastard wrapping himself in barbed wire. Then I YouTube him and see that he's a great worker too. So for the top 3 I chose two violent and one technical that is violent. 3) Terry Funk vs Mick Foley King of the Death matches 2) Terry Funk vs Sabu Barbed Wire Match 1) Terry Funk vs Ric Flair I Quit 9) Shinsuke Nakamura; Talk about a guy who can just make you look at him in awe. Nakamura has the whole package when it comes to being a personality. His wrestling style and body mannerisms transcend the language barrier. He just pops off the screen and he's great in the ring. 3) Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi WrestleKingdom 9 2) Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kazuchika Okada G1 Final 1) Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kazushi Sakuraba WrestleKingdom 7 8) JBL; A man that had kept my attention as young wrestling fan. I became a fan in 2004 and I was only allowed to watch SmackDown so JBL was my most hated man. He cut a great promo and wasn't too shabby in the ring. And to make it even better his 2004-06 run still holds up today. 3) JBL vs Eddie Guerrero Bull Rope Great American Bash 04 2) JBL vs Eddie Guerrero Cage on SmackDown 1) JBL vs John Cena I quit Judgment Day 05 7) CM Punk; If this was a year ago, he would be my number 1 and I still enjoy him. As I opened my eyes to wrestling 6 other people became more enthralling to me. He's a great worker and a great talker, he has the complete package. He is somebody I still look up to and was a great role model for any fan with the straight edge. 3) CM Punk vs Raven Dog Collar ROH 2) CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan WWE Over the Limit 2012 1) CM Punk vs Samoa Joe 2 6) Eddie Guerrero: Talk about another guy who was colorful inside and out. He just pops off the screen and I'm very fortunate to have been a young wrestling fan watching him. He's a good promo and the best lucha to north american transplant of all time. 3) Los Gringos Locos vs Octagon and El Hijo Del Santo AAA When Worlds Collide 2) Eddie Guerrero vs JBL Bull Rope 1) Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Summerslam 05 Ladder Match 5) Randy Savage: This is another one that I've grown to love as I matured as a wrestling fan. One of a kind performer who loved the business. I loved the colors and the way he wrestled. He can cut a hell of a promo in character and he just popped off of the screen 3) Randy Savage vs Ric Flair Wrestlemania 8 2) Randy Savage vs Ultimate Warrior Wrestlemania 7 1) Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat Wrestlemania 3 4) Kenta Kobashi; The first Japanese wrestling match I watched was when Misawa died was the 1/20/97 match between Kobashi and Misawa. I was more drawn to Kobashi because he hit hard and would drop people on their fucking heads. I've been drawn to Kobashi matches and he just has a way to draw you in. Partially it was his facials and the moves he did were incredible. 3) Kobashi and Kikuchi vs Can Am Express 2) Kobashi vs Samoa Joe 1) Kobashi vs Misawa 1/20/97 3) Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan: He is a one of a kind wrestler and was that way even before he signed or stepped into a WWE ring. He can do everything, if you want a technical masterpiece he can do it, a brawl no problem and combining elements is where he was best. A true legend in this business and will be a first ballot hall of famer. 3) Bryan Danielson vs Takeshi Morishma No DQ where he detached the retina 2) Daniel Bryan vs Triple H Wrestlemania 30 1) Bryan Danielson vs KENTA 2) Undertaker: One of my favorite characters of all time. He is larger than life and can work his ass off. He's an enigmatic person and wrestles with pride. Just a breath taking wrestler. 3) Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar Hell in a Cell 2) Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania 25 1) Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels Hell in a Cell 1) KENTA: Just a great wrestler. His matches are awesome and he's an enjoyable person to watch. Innovative and hard working. I hope he's booked well in WWE. 3) KENTA vs Marifuji Sumo Hall show 2) KENTA vs Bryan Danielson Glory by Honor 1) KENTA vs Davey Richards Thanks for reading this and if you have any suggestions of what I should watch just reply
