  1. Are the Authors of Pain the best "NXT Developmental Project" ever at this point? I mean I don't count Braun or Elias much, but the AOP are so damn fun now a days.
  2. That was a fun as shit ladder match, but man Adam Cole is the boringest possible winner of that match.
  3. Meanwhile, 205 put on the best go home show the company had this year. Kalisto vs. Murphy was amazing stuff.
  4. ...Is there anyone on here who is watching 205 live now a days, cause holy shit it's consistently really really good.

    WWE Fastlane 2018

Pacing was different. While I liked the EC better (this match has the whole KO/Sami/Shane angle that I really have no time for), it was indeed a slower paced match as it usually is the case for that type of match. However, the talent there was better. Can someone help me with the heel-face dynamics between Sami/KO/Shane? If Owens' version of a babyface is similar to Rollins' face run circa '16, I really don't want to see that and I think it would be even worse than his heel run. Basically, Owens and Zayn are fully heels, with them constantly being given opportunities they don't deserve to get the title matches. Tonight it felt like it changed. Owens nor Zayn pulled any bullshit, and Owens basically won the match on own right. It's.... interesting. Like I don't think this is going to be used to turn Zayn and Owens face, but they are clearly in the right in this angle. Shane screwed them both hard and good.

I do think that match succeeded far more then it failed. It had a good pace, there were not many times when someone was gone for no real reason (save for Cena who was gone for like 3 minutes after a simple clothesline) and most everyone in the match seem to be in a good spot going forward. Once more, I do like that Zayn and Owens have a VERY legitimate gripe now.

I do kinda love that Owens nor Zayn worked together or bullshitted, Owens legitimately had the match won of his own work, and Shane screwed him over. It actually lets Sami and Owens have a legitimately good point that Shane screwed them over.

I kinda love it when Corbin gets to go on big offensive runs. They tend to be really strong setups.

Yeah, Asuka/Charlotte & Nia/Alexa is the right direction for Mania imo. The womens stuff is the things I am most excited about Mania.

This is a really good beatcown, but them not running the actual tag match is a big ol bummer.
  11. It's been reported that the current plan was Miz/Braun, but that was a while back.
  12. Like are they doing the beatdown to "keep Braun hot" or something? If you want to keep the super over guy hot, maybe just have him fucking win.
  13. What a fucking dumb company.
  14. It's god damned Braun.
  15. If Braun doesn't win this by eliminating every single other competitor this match has missed a gigantic opportunity.
  16. If they want to make this crowd hot, I have 3 words: Roman Reigns Elimination.
  17. Even the Braun being badass part of this isn't as great as I was hoping.
  18. My best description for this Chamber is "just there" so far. It hasn't been bad, it's just not really been good either.
  19. Elias is really really good at his job.
  20. I know he isn't winning, but any result of this that isn't Braun winning will just make me annoyed.
  21. If I had to guess I'd assume Asuka rolled the wrong way.
  22. Would I get odd looks if I said I think Nia has certainly been the better worker in this match, and she is really really starting to put it together?
  23. Apollo deserves a lot of credit for really figuring it out in teh last few months. I've really enjoyed watching his work in recent times.

    Royal Rumble 2018

Tyson was a much, much bigger sports star than Rousey. She could be a great asset in a different, long-term way. But for a one-time publicity pop, he was a bigger deal. The key thing here is, once more, it's not a one-time publicity thing. It's apparently Rousey signing a contract to be a full-time wrestler. That isn't a small thing. The Tyson comparison would be more Mayweather vs. Big Show, imo.

ESPN, btw, is reporting not only is Rousey signing, it's a multiple year contract. Sooo not just Mania and done.
