  1. its not outlandish to say tweener Steph McMahon is the worst character in wrestling history, right? Such a pity as she's a cracking heel
  2. Striker was not the worst for WK9. He has a bad habit of breaking kayfabe for absolutely no reason though, but he used to be worse for it
  3. I don't think this would work. You'll just have a macho business donkey wrestler talk about his super karate monkey death car. It's more descriptive than Kelly at least
  4. Yes, at the bottom there's Corino + current TNA team, and then there's everybody else Corino could be fine as the Don West-esque (you might laugh, but I think he was vital to a lot of TNA's success back then) hype-mark for the company if he had more than 3 jokes
  5. So if I've got this right, Bryan is raring and ready to go again just about now, but WWE just won't clear him? I get that concussions are no laughing matter and this could really be seen as a smart protocol, but have/would they do this with anybody else?
  6. I'd rather hear Striker + Kelly than Corino + Kelly. Those 2 have no real report and Corino's shtick is infuriating once you've watched ROH for 3 weeks straight. Kelly's random silences probably won't be fun though, I'll stick with Japanese commentary. Maybe they're shit too but they sound good at least
  7. Fair enough, I just heard Titus O'Neill come out with it recently. Struck me as peculiar with his age and being a hot-tag guy. I'd quite like to be WWE champion too, but different people have different ceilings and being realistic doesn't hurt either.
  8. This isn't too related to anything but does anybody else really dislike the recent-ish saying "if you're in WWE/NXT and you don't aim to be WWE Champion then get out of the company" Seriously? Oh, so D-Von Dudley reckons he's gonna be WWE champion yeah? Christ. Variety keeps the fucking show going so that a Rusev/Cesaro/Ryback doesn't have to eat a pin to each other at the shittiest of shit times.
  9. Tag match was acceptable stuff. Nothing more really. Crowd loved Randy. The Sheamus/Rusev stuff was shit, why does Rusev keep having to do this rubbish heel v heel stuff lately? Who benefited from that? Stardust v Neville would have more effect if this wasn't the 60 bajillionth time they've met this month. I don't know why they do all this 90 second shit on Raw when something more like this, given breathing time and on a decent platform is loads better. Just a pity the crowd was pretty dead for it. Women's match really pissed me off tbh. I thought it was ludicrous that they did this 6-tag on Raw in the first place, and to trot this out when you can get Nikki's rematch clause out of the way on this, just so so shit. Paige is a heel now! Everybody understands that! It really is like they wrote this angle in reverse. Intelligence insulting, time wasting, talent wasting crap. Ending was alright but was already fully disengaged by that point. We want Sasha indeed. Also I hate that I'm going on about this match more than anything else but The Bellas seriously got a bigger pop than the faces...Total Divas is some kayfabe breaking crap. I never tune in but saw recently they were making out Ziggler was trying to pull Nikki Bella, like what's the point of this show other than to break kayfabe and make people look like fools. I'm assuming TD is why Bellas get cheers, it's very irritating. Owens v Jericho was very nice, for being different as much as anything. Some nice moments and chemistry. Not a blowaway by any means, but likely MOTN New Day/Dudz was enjoyable and New Day were pure gold pre-match, loved the calling out of the 'wazzzuuup'. Kind of a pity it was pretty much an exact replica of Night of Champions, just without the apron bump. Post-match I was hoping against hope that Spike Dudley would come out for the save to make it different but oh well. Lesnar/Show was a ton of fun while it lasted. I like Show, it's not his fault how he has been booked, so I would've liked this to go on longer as it was all I really tuned in for, but what else can you do really. Just a blast though, and Lesnar coming out for a couple more 'plexes is win-win. No idea what "let's hear it for the Big Show" was about other than to give ingrates the opportunity to give Show loads of abuse. Also a pity Cesaro was a victim of making this, what, 3 minute match? Not like I thought his little momentum a couple months ago would really go anywhere in particular but it's well and truly squashed after that. Cena Rollins was pretty fun. I smelt the finish a mile off but still got surprisingly into it. I don't like door escapes being an option in cage matches, just seems shit, but I really liked how both guys went all over the cage. Lots of exciting spots, crisp action. Pretty satisfying Overall a decent watch but not much setting it apart from any recent Raw apart from Y2J, Lesnar wrestling and a cage. The Tokyo show just had so much more about it, even ignoring the crowd. Seeing as Takeover Respect will have Balor & Joe in the Dusty Rhodes tournament, an NXT title match really wouldn't have gone amiss here. Tyler Breeze or somebody. A little showcase as it's always enjoyable for me to see the NXT lot come out in a big arena.
  10. Best thing that could happen to WWE's current ratings is probably for the NFL to suddenly fold
  11. Start and end of episode were really cool. Mixed bag in between Kane stuff was silly as, but okay. The two sides of Kane is a lot more interesting than one Kane is capable of being in 2015, so fair play.
  12. Yeah, I'll mostly agree with that. This Roman stuff is pretty decent but Wyatt's feud with Ryback a while back cos Ryback has musclez was just the shits. If they don't give him something proper and prolonged to do, he's the most useless guy on the roster. He was a singles-star for that feud though, leagues better with his cronies around him.
  13. I like Bo Dallas's gimmick quite a lot. The catchphrase gives me a great kick. I think he just needs to be harder to catch. He's not very imposing so it just makes him look stupid to piss people off and get his come-uppance within the same episode. He should be slippery and more chicken-shit rather than just getting by on 'positivity'
  14. So Paige heel turn helps things along greatly you all agree? She's wayyyy too annoying to be face. Good to see Natalya also Wish the crowd would react to things correctly though. Where do all these Bella fans come from that they still get a pop and why is that the only audible reaction? Paige got a cheer later on in her segment too. People suck.
  15. sorry if I sound 13 years old, but any version of masked Kane beats the hell out of that bored arsey looking, suit-wearing bizness Kane saying "...because that's what's best for business" Kane is actually hilarious when you think about it in any depth. He's the most successful spin-off in the history of the planet. He's like if the show Joey had somehow ran for 20 years. And let's not pretend it's really cos of anything else but that dumb-arsed mask
  16. I disagree on two points: 1) That WWE would want to make anything more of him, probably only with a very altered gimmick which while I love the performer, I love THIS gimmick the most and ROH deserve a lot of credit for that 2) That Silas isn't a perfect guy to work with atm. Silas has been around longer but still has a hilarious, relevant character that can actually draw the heat I do however see your point that ROH only see him as comic relief a la Romantic Touch, when he goes thoroughly above and beyond that. Though I think a storyline chase for the boys back is on, and that should be inspiring viewing. Get a few cracking segments out of Silas and then have him nab them back somehow
  17. With a bit of digesting, as pants as it was, I'm fine with the Kane thing. He shouldn't have to go out as Bizness Kane. And I'm sure plenty of people got a kick out of seeing the mask again. Remember being young?
  18. haha, I don't even know what to think of that. DA DEMON KANE. very good show though
  19. Oh man, Rollins is dressed like Mordecai again
  20. 6 man tag: That was some good fun. Y2J wasn't your typical mystery man letdown. Good guy for Strowman to work with, good action and excitement in the finish
  21. Women's title: Good stuff, pleasantly surprised by Nikki. The finish wasn't overdone ADRENALINE and that knee stayed sold. Nikki maybe looked weak tapping quite soon despite taking little offence but does anyone care? Obviously telegraphed result though but that's the bookng
  22. So are the Rollins matches going on back to back?
  23. Tag titles: Great fun, right result. Someone went through a table. Win-win. New Day all day. They're all great but Xavier is such a great discovery.
  24. Great opener. Second match I wasn't too fussed about, more pissed that the PROGRAMME FROM HELL CONTINUES
  25. Orton got 'took out' by Wyatts on Raw because he was filmed backstage conversing with Ambrose & Roman. The following SmackDown something similar happened with Jimmy Uso. The mystery partner has been kept a secret so Wyatts can't get to them first, so it would really be a sickener if it was just Orton
