I wish I wouldve ranked Giant Baba. The latest deep dive I did on him for our wrestling review reminded me why I love him so much. Tremendous worker.
-
I enjoyed the hell out of that run as well, the crowd definitely loathed Credible. He got legit heel heat at the only ECW show I ever got to attend.
-
IRS doesnt care about your card placement, brother.
-
Tajiri with a very good ranking, he was on my ballot. A terrific performer who could really go with anyone. I like Dr. Death but he did not make my list.

Love the Zandig, appreciate and nurture the love of Zandig. It will keep you in your perfect wrestling chakra.
-
I voted for both guys but had Cesaro a few places higher. Good placement for both of them for the most part.
-
Definitely one of my favorite things in wrestling.

People loved Bam Bam and Candido from what I recall, but always heard lots of talk about Douglas sucking. I was referring to my love for Douglas although of course I loved the group.
-
Guilty to some of the fandom narrative but definitely not in my eyes is Sid. Hes one of my 10 favorite wrestlers ever and I will go on jaunts watching him squash guys and cut his insane promos fairly regularly. I guess ECW Triple Threat with Candido and Bigelow Shane Douglas is another maligned figure that I love.

A dagger. I was hoping hed make it a little further but still happy to see him in the top 100. Onita holds a special place in my heart, early on in my internet tape trading days when I got the FMW and Onita stuff I wore those tapes out. One of the most charismatic figures to me in wrestling history, excellent at portraying violence varying from subtle and nuanced all the way to completely over the top. My highest guy down now so far.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Eegah replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
Stylized tribute to Serious Sam? Maybe they are hardcore PC gamers -
Man, I know its going to be great wrestler after great wrestler but today has been brutal as far as rooting for placement. Kerry, The Destroyer, LA Park, Sangre Chicana, and Bob Backlund down. Glad they all made it, varying placements on my list. With some of the revisiting I done I have a good idea this time next year Bob would be higher on my own list. I knew the reveals would be fun but not this fun!

Its the final countdown! Exciting stuff, its going to be like a Christmas celebration elongated.
-
I can recall your thoughts on the others besides Backlund, why do you dislike him?
-
People can rank him, and obviously did but I dont have any reason to go back and watch him or judge him as a performer. There are plenty of awful things throughtout wrestling history but that is one that was so spotlighted and completely tragic that I can not seperate the performer and the man in that particular instance.

The best pure striker in WWE history.

The Larry Z and Tony vs Scicluna and Steele tag may have stole the show. I loved it Garea took that ass beating like a king. Steele and the Baron were vicious in it, that match ruled!
-
That was a super fun card. The crowd was molten, I loved the tag match, Graham/Putskin and of course Patera/Bruno.
-
My future viewing is definitely going to be leaning to WoS and more shoot style. Ive seen smatterings of both but going to do a full deep dive since both styles have many things I value highly in wrestling.
-
31 down with my highest ranked guy out being Iron Sheik at 44. Still lots left in the list!
-
What a nice surprise. Thanks fellas!

Larry Z almost made the top 100! Waltman down as well. Both guys have gone up and down in my wrestling fandom. I loved Larry Z in his Dangerous Alliance run then hated him as an announcer, going back and watching him in WWWF and the AWA run catapulted him into one of my favorite slimy heels ever. Waltman I remember seeing for the first time in Global and thinking he was the future of the business. I loved his early WWF run as one of the best early Raw workers, got tired of him the second time around in WWF as a membee of DX then rewatching he was just one of the best tv match guys of the era and bounced between both companies as a mainstay throughout the Monday Night Wars.

Definitely is, especially with how down hes been viewed on the internet over time. Average vote of 57 shows the voters who did put him on really enjoyed him.

Now Dory down, no justice in the world. I need a hug.
