  1. This project never fails to hold my interest and keep me questioning my own perspective on this sport of kings. Thanks be to everyone, especially Mantaur, the yellow dog of PWO and one true torchbearer to this project’s unhinged Tilde-bangin’ lunatic fringe roots.
  2. Bret did not make my list, so sure. I like Bret plenty and enjoy the Bret match and even the character work, but found him pretty terrible in multiple eras when he wasn’t running shit. He’s in my top 250 but not amongst my top 100, nor was he fighting for one of the last spots. I do love his endless hate parade, however, and am currently re-reading his book and can’t wait for the one by Snowden.
  3. Who gives a single shit about whether or not a good match has stipulations?
  4. I had Mick Foley at 82, but it is wholly believable that someone could look at his career and vote him very high based on his matches and not factoring in his promos. Dude was a beloved and unbelievably influential in-ring performer. Lucha got ASSASSINATED this time. We have a new agenda for next time, marks.
  5. Lucha has been assassinated.
  6. CM Punk ahead of Ricky Steamboat has me needing to go lie down awhile.
  7. Draconian New Japan clip sharing policies nuked Liger, who I am not that high on but is absolutely a clippable monster.
  8. Lawler dropping is against god.
  9. What a shooter. I respect you, bookermantaur!
  10. I find the argument it implies against Fujinami offensive and nonexistent, and the dragon/tradition portmanteau, itself, is truly horrific. And yet, as with most things said on a message board, this intends no harm and is said in jest.
  11. “Reject cynicism, embrace Dradition” is more insidious than anything even Parv ever said in this hive of scum and villainy.
  12. OJ not doing a #1 blurb for Satanico is a bigger heel turn than Mantaur shooting on everyone.
  13. I like Gunther but what are we doing here?
  14. Ishikawa probably tops Ikeda because he was the ace of BattlARTS (one of the most mythical promotions ever) and also wasn’t damned by his own success like Ikeda, by which I mean Daisuke kinda sucks in the bigger promotions. Or, at least, was unable to work that style on those tours, although honestly who could blame him?
