I am confused as to what's the plan regarding Black. He just seems to be fucking around doing nothing, but looking great while at it. He spent a long time stuck in the Codyverse, then feuding with lame BPJ, and it seems like the feud with Death Triangle is over? What's the goal here?

Absolutely. A lot of it has to do with people still not over Sammy's previous relationship (which itself is something very... odd, to say the least). I never really understood how or why people felt entitled to harass others because they were dating someone they don't particularly like. Shipping wars, man.

The thing that bugs me is that Tay is someone who you can easily root for. She might get booed against PVZ solely by associating with Sammy.

Even Road Dogg is a big, tall dude. 90s WWF had that NBA effect in which since everyone is fucking GIGANTIC, everyone looked just about the same, save for giant giants and small giants. -

Randy Savage was gigantic, but even X-PAC, who we all saw as a small dude, was jacked. WWE truly messes up with your perception, man. -
I didn't mind Tay/Sammy as a couple but I am getting fed up with their online pictures saying "yeah we have so much sex lol we so craaaaayzeee" and them getting tattoos of their names, specially because I end up knowing that against my will. It truly feels like stuff people in their late teens would do and they are basically my age. Just a recipe for being unlikeable as shit, and considering how their on-screen characters are related, it's even worse - they are faces.

As suggested by bubba @DMJ, let's reminisce remarkable feuds that didn't quite make it to the top of the card, usually revolving about a secondary title For instance, Miz vs Ziggler has been one of the absolute best feuds of the 2010s. Mizanin basically put on some of the best promos, segments and in-ring performances of his career there, and Ziggler likewise was on a roll as a babyface. Honestly his best work ever. It truly felt like the IC title peaked then and there, and it neve really came close to reaching that height. I would also like to give Cesaro/Sheamus and Ishii/Honma as great feuds.

The Miz/Dolph Ziggler in 2016 for the IC title was legit one of the best feuds of that year in wrestling, on a very good show. SmackDown was loaded.

It was not worked in a way that made sense. Think about a common, loose headlock. Those you have in basically any drop down, leapfrog sequence. That's what he was using to have control over Keith Lee. Basically the first portion of the match, besides a brief moment, is all Cole beating the shit out of Lee with some questionable looking strikes. Their match is actually decent besides the beginning segment and some minor stuff like Cole hitting the Panama Sunrise as he would do against any other opponent. On the other hand, I'd say the clipped version (you can find it on DailyMotion - with Italian commentary!) is a MASSIVE improvement over the full match, as it cuts straight to the chase and makes it feel like a 8 minute sprint and much more cohesive.

You can absolutely set up the feud, have Wardlow look like a million bucks, keep the belt on Sky and not make him look like a goober.

I see. Must say, a study about non-standard depictions of masculinity in wrestling interest me. However, while I like big men busting out stuff like moonsault or springboard sentons, I feel that at the same time, if you have them doing it more frequently, smaller dudes lose their luster a bit, unless it's top level talent like Vikingo giving Newton the middle finger For instance, I am positive Bron Breakker or peak Scott Steiner could bust a 450 splash easily. Should they do that often? If I can see a dude his frame bust out that move, a smaller dude doing the same thing isn't the same. Certain spots should be more contextual, I feel. It's like when you see a smaller dude lifting bigger guys - it's awesome, but should it happen every other match? Either way, I agree with a lot, if not all of what you wrote.

Care to expound on this, bubba?

It looks like being bought by Bushiroad and being featured on Wrestle Kingdom really helped STARDOM's popularity. -
Rhea Ripley making sure she does her stomp and pose before saving Bianca Belair from a beatdown was funny

There were fun, good things - Dante/Page was fun despite it's odd placement, Mox/Bryan vs Work Horsemen was just violent and the post-match Regal promo was all sorts of fantastic, Wardlow looked good on the mic, and Scorpio winning the TNT Belt was good. The rest... meh. The main event was just plain bad, even if PVZ signing her contract on Tay's butt was great. PAC vs Yuta, Acclaimed vs JE and Leyla/Rosa, none of that did anything to me. Even Jeff's AEW debut was a bit weird. The Dark Order segment I guess was supposed to be awkward, but I just could not understand a single thing that was being said, not sure for what reason. Sound mixing, perhaps? Like, I didn't like the episode, but I cannot say it didn't move at a thousand miles per hour. Whatever segment that doesn't work didn't go overly long, and there was something to enjoy.

Still not over the fact Guevara took one ridiculous bump, was dead for like five minutes and then just got all his indierrific shit in like it was no biggie. Fuck that guy.

AEW following one of their best PPVs ever with this episode of Dynamite is some ass. Is TK strung out?

Fuck Sammy for pulling a Road Warrior Hawk and popping right the fuck up. That's bollocks, bubbas.

Good for Scorpio, man. Saved this fucking match.
