Maybe they just don't want to use him as of now? At the same time, they'll edit him out from the smallest of things and not even mention him, so it's conflicting messages altogether.

Even before that, tbh. He had a long-ass feud against Drew a couple of years ago which worked pretty much the same as the Corbin feud. Frankly it's a miracle he got a program that had engaging moments like that one against Bryan/Rowan.

Thing is I remember Zayn having some interesting underdog moments in the main roster, specially against Braun Strowman. I think they've spent way too much time saddling him with Owens, be it as a rival or as a friend, when in fact his best moments have nothing to do with KO. Sure they have their history in the indies, but trying to replicate it in NXT and the main roster was such a waste of time. Sami was thriving in NXT with that incredible underdog story AND that amazing feud with Cesaro. Yet, his whole tenure there is almost reduced to KO double crossing him. Shame.

Roman is also a pretty good football analyst. I remember a couple years ago he was featured in one of those college football panels and he was the guy with the most accurate prediction, if memory doesn't fail. The curse of the WWE 2K cover is real, huh?

This is all fair and all because you recognize The Usos' worth as wrestlers. That doesn't happen in what I mentioned. RnS and BOD, before anything else, are well formed main eventers who eventually tagged together. They didn't really provide anything remotely close to high-end Uso matches in terms of tag team stuff, but breaking them down into singles? Give me The Rock or Foley anytime, but them tagging? I'd rather stick to The Usos, who despite only really working as a tag team, do have that formula down to a tee. Really wish they went back to using that Tequila Sunrise/Superkick combo, though.

Also, about Rollins as a midcard IC champ: that also had some pretty terrible shit. Remember that Ziggler Ironman Match? And he giving out on Twitter afterwards? His best role is as a tag member. It was the case with Roman, JJ, Strowman, and even Murphy. Got no time for him otherwise.

Found the Roman hater! The point - which indeed was poorly written - was more that people are stuck in mindsets from 5 to 6 years ago and often are parroting the same things. Everyone around here in Brazil is stuck in the past in unhealthy ways. It's not just people saying that the Usos suck, but that Rock 'n' Sock Connection or Brothers of Destruction are vastly better. People are saying Roman must be kept strong, which indeed was a point of discussion in 2016, but not in 2020. I wish that were the case! Dude's spent the last three years doing absolutely nothing!

It has even worse acceptation here in Brazil. We used to enjoy MMA quite a bit when Anderson Silva was reigning supreme, and why go for fake shit when you can see people getting busted up for real?
