If SP loses here, I am thinking the crowd turns on the event

Last year, his feud with Ciampa was pretty divisive. The first match was great, universally praised, but it was kinda booked like the end of the feud, not the beginning. Then they had other matches, where Gargano was made to look like a total geek - the last man standing being the biggest example of that. Overwriting stuff like having them form a tag team for a while only for it to be a ruse, and then Ciampa getting injured, putting the feud to a complete halt, didn't help matters. Gargano is still over, still is great, but they ran overdramatic moments to the ground, and it kind of became a chore.

Worst part is that Cole is actually very good at portraying a shithead heel. Those vignettes where he went to Gargano's hometown and wrestling school were great, and he showed personality. What's bad is that everyone in NXT pretty much HAS to fit this mold we are complaining. It's all about no-selling shit, doing dangerous spots on the apron, and making goofy faces. I would argue we have more personality in the main roster, at least in the main event scene, than we do in NXT.

Pretty much. The timing was perfect for a title change, and Bianca, while still legit great, lost a lot of momentum. She could've been a perfect ace champ, too.

The presentation is overall better, to be fair. The lights, the sound effects, the distortion... it is something more intimidating and more effective than "cult leader who says cryptic shit". At the same time, it is also quite simple.

There is really no reason for Shayna to be the Brock of NXT and dominate the division anymore. Sure it's good for her and she did have many very good matches, but the division as a whole took a hit because of it. Give us Shayna vs Bayley or vs Bliss.

I'm almost expecting the average, non NXT Title match to go 10 minutes.

I remember when Southpaw Regional Wrestling was a thing, Ziggler's character was basically him up to eleven. He was also the worst character there because, well, it was just Ziggler instead of something different. It feels like this is his biggest issue. Dude either wants to be too liked, but thinks he's above playing a character. Remember his heel turn where he threw a fit in the men's locker room? Tommy Wiseau would be screaming for him to show some emotion.

He needs to go all the way, man. If he were to go full Dee Snider, then we could talk. As it is, it seems as if he's too shy or sees himself to be above that type of stuff, which is ridiculous.

Their next PPV is in September, right? Or is there something between SSlam and Clash of Champions?

Given how even Bryan was shocked by the reveal, I think there's more to this story. I'm geniunely invested in this, which is absolutely great.

Pro: Roman looked fucking legit. Like the biggest star in the company. Con: Fucking don't tease us with Murphy and give us Rowan, man! And he's just 205!!!!

He looks better with the haircut, IMO. I'd be down with Elias bumping for Gable, though.

Real talk, Ziggler's hair might be the worst part about his act, think about the ground that covers.

Yeah, I remember people being really high on Bryan and IIRC the project ended some time after he had to retire, so some argued there was some bias in that regard. Since he came back, he had good showings against a very green Cass, had an amazing Memphis-like feud with the Miz, had a classic against Lesnar and is having a heel run for the ages - and is actually getting booed. I think those post-return years might give him the edge over Tsuruta.

Noble babyface giving someone a title shot, specially when that person was the champ and never really lost it in a match, is not that bad of a look. It's something very minor to me, though.

Easy: much like when Roman was at the top, weekly TV threads started to become repetitive arguments about the same subject - previously, if Roman was or not the guy, and how his push was handled; now, if Seth fucking sucks or not. Imagine if in the mid 90s, every thread led to a Bret vs HBK discussion. Wouldn't it be better to have a self contained thread to discuss that single subject? BTW: Seth is an awful friend. When Roman got back the Universal Title, he went out of his way to give Balor a title shot. Rollins wins it at WM after Roman has to vacate it due to cancer, and he never did something similar. Looks bad!
