Gimme Christian vs Bryan Danielson
-
Every Jericho feud has this lingering feeling that it's not quite over. Kingston spent two months more than necessary on that JAS feud. Good for Ricky, tho.
-
You mean you don't want the technician magician Saraya beating fan favorite Jamie Hayter for the belt?
-
You mean Nikkisawa isn't going to call out Jade Cargill?
-
The best thing about those matches are not even the technical parts, to be very honest. Again, the point is you don't need your top champ to be able to wrestle a sixty minute Ironman match so you can be able to say "yeah he's good!" Sometimes I think him wrestling more often would be enough. He was featured in 9 matches in 2022, two of them being angles (Casino ladder match and against 10 guy) and one being a squash (against Wardlow). Even his 2021 had him working seven singles matches, and one was a squash - most of his year was Pinnacle/Inner Circle heavy.
-
But it doesn't have to be that way, tho. Like, if you want to have MJF succeeding, wouldn't hiding his weakness be the first thing you do? I remember a match against Jericho that he had in which he was in control and then he just proceeded to to an Asai Moonsault for no reason, something which even JR called out. It seems the booking in this reign is backwards - all his flaws are getting highlighted instead of his strenghts. What I'm saying is that there may be better ways of showing "yeah our World Champ can go in the ring" than a sixty minute ironman match, even if the opponent is Bryan Danielson.

It seems it's moving lots of tickets. Slightly above 8k, making it one of (I guess it's THE) best selling events in the city! Hope they can all witness MJF getting his fucking head kicked in.

Like, I don't even mind Parker that much, he's obviously green but could progress, but somehow Mogul Affiliates is LAMER than Hit Row, in terms of being a group. Shame Rick Ross can't be a full time heel manager, because Swerve/Ross is where the money is at.
-
Question: what the fuck does that other Mogul guy even do?

WWE TV 2/27-3/5 the webhost is sick of our soccer talk I guess

Him being so fucking stiff is part of what makes him work, at this point. I mean, the promo he cut on Charlotte felt natural, as opposed to him posing as this tough guy who spent hours behind bars. -

"Do you wanna know what he said about you? Nothing" is a cold line. Speaking of cold, Santos Escobar remains one of the smoothest talkers in the company. -

Let's go, Roman! Liv and Rhea having a banger! -
Eddie was at worst a Top 3 babyface in the company and they started phasing him out from TV after he smacked one of TK's coke buddies. Him going to ROH may at least prevent him from killing Sammy, but alas.
-
MJF having a floppy title reign would be alright in the long run. I mean, he is young and can improve, and him crumbling under the pressure and being WASHED for one hour would be the development he so desperatedly needs.
-
What I don't get is doing a "I quit AEW" angle as a justification of him playing a bigger role in ROH when his damn opponent, Claudio, is working both brands. It is better than him doing fuck all like he's done the past months or so, but only marginally.

What are we doing here
-
Danielson should just fucking win, 10-0.
-
Twice already Andretti has almost blown his knee or his leg doing too fucking much.
-
Bryan Danielson had a better time feuding with The Miz in 2018, just saying This episode NEEDS to be a clusterfuck. Nothing is happening! It's your last show before one of your 4 annual pay per views! Give us batshit insanity!

I do wonder what the plans for the IC belt are. I mentioned here, and I saw some people on Twitter also talking about it, that a three way between Big Gun, Big Sheamo and Big Drew would be dope. You can protect Gunther (and have a rematch at Backlash), give Sheamus the final piece of his Grand Slam and get Drew something. Plus, it's big meaty men bumping meat. Gunther is low-key (maybe not so much) one of the best wrestlers on the planet right now. He slimmed down and didn't lose one bit of his killer aura. He looks scarier now, IMO. Solo is one that I can seriously see becoming a WWE champ in a few years, but they are having him tag with Jimmy and have some occasional singles matches with guys like KO. He could have a nice IC-focused program afterward, or be a meaner, hungrier replacement for Main Event Jey. He certainly can work with other bruisers like Drew and Sheamus. Honestly, just love how giving him the Samoan Spike made him feel like a bigger deal. As for Jey, he had a pretty nice singles run a couple of years ago. His feud with Roman even kickstarted the whole Bloodline! He can cut a promo, him and Jimmy are more distinguishable now than ever, and is a great in-ring worker (both Usos have been great for a decade now). -
All they need to do is send me 15 bucks on cashapp and we're cool (just kidding. welcome, bubba @RocknWrestling)
