He's in an universe of his own. Fiend was super over until Wyatt-isms started kicking in. People like the idea of Bray Wyatt. They do not like seeing it put in practice. -

Why would people boo Cody? He had great reaction after great reaction ever since returning to WWE. He is not taking the place of a fan favorite when he is the fan favorite. They just have now two super popular babyfaces, three if you count KO. We might be overthinking this, but having Sami/Roman at EC to set up a tag match with Owens against Jimmy/Solo (since Jey - what a character arc - is too conflicted) is reasonable. It's such a fucking great storyline I wouldn't even mind if Sami beat Roman on a non-title match. -

He never appeared, they never teased it. Rock flat out said "yeah, not gonna happen". They may have wanted it, but it was far from being the clear end goal because it was far from materializing. They would have advertised it to no end if it was the case. Like, Rock's been speculated to return for fucking ages now, even before Roman started having his reign. He is done. And y'know, we are better like this. Dude was toast 10 years ago physically. He is 50 and still on huge amounts of gas. Plus, his ego would never allow it. The Black Adam fiasco did a number on him. -

As they should have done, tbh. Maybe even sooner. I just don't know what this part in bold refers to. Like, is that supposed to be about Dwayne? He is never coming back. Never once I thought he was going to be back. He just doesn't want to have a match, flat out. They did a whole SmackDown dedicated to him and he didn't even record a message. The end goal wasn't to have Roman v Rock. It was to give Roman his big damn title reign. Give him this historical reign. It paid off! -

Giving Roman both belts ended up giving them a reason to do one match per WM day, and they can even write the Bloodline's implosion to reach its climax at Wrestlemania - maybe even affecting both matches. Cody has the narrative of a guy returning from injury - an injury he had while putting on a great fucking match - and who still has the legacy of his father on his shoulders, while building his own. It's a "good" problem to have. I mean, I don't like it because Roman, the selfless man that he is, will have to put two people over in consecutive days, but still, getting TWO babyfaces this over is great stuff. And they are managing to build Solo as a top monster heel, too. He ain't the biggest, but neither was Umaga. -

No, Cody will be cheered. He is over, will remain over for the return, and his victory will be praised. Sami's story almost needs him to be fucked over by Solo/Roman at this exact point. People suggested Codester would get the Batista treatment, but this seems completely absurd. Way, way different situations. -

Solo is actually one of the greatest rookies we have seen. He's been doing this for a year, essentially. We rightfully rave about the Creeds, Bron Breakker and Melo, but Solo being called up makes total sense. Also, on NXT Lvl Up, it seems we've got some interesting names for the women's roster. Sol Ruca has a viral finisher and looks great for someone that young into her career, and both Valerie Loureda, now known as Lola Vice, and Dani Palmer are looking good. We have shat on NXT for a while now, but it finally seems like they are putting together a good number of prospects for the main roster. -

Nikita having two severe injuries like that going back to back is essentially the worst thing that could happen. If you are that banged up in the developmental territory, how is your body holding up working the house show schedule? -

Plus, he was *just* 40 when he had his 2nd match against Cena in which his body got fucked up. He's even bigger now, and 10 years older. There is zero upside for him in his situation. Also, we might come to terms that both Cena and Punk smoked that man on the mic back then. -

Total Bellas' actual influence on drawing the female demographic to professional wrestling in general is quite understated, I feel. They are doing well for themselves without needing to have a 20+year career, AND Nikki in particular ended up being a pretty damn good wrestler even after a neck injury. They were 100% slighted, even if they were name-dropped. The only female legend I can remember yesterday was Alundra Blayze (who looked like Britt Baker at a glance lol). Truly baffling that not even BETH PHOENIX, who's as active as you could get for someone with legend status, didn't make it. For a night with some terrific segments and fun moments, having nearly zero women's wrestling legends on a night to celebrate legends is a way more glaring issue than having to postpone Becky vs Bayley. -

It's not so much that Dwayne can't be bothered, but going back to wrestling after essentially frauding Black Adam's box office results would 110% give a message that he doesn't want - his days as a movie/TV star are numbered. -

This all makes sense, and it would go full circle since Roman was gaslighting his cousins all the way into The Bloodline. I wanna know what the plans for Solo are. He is positioned as the enforcer, and it doesn't seem to fuck with his brothers like that, either. With Roman gone, will he get a push? Also: -
