I never understood fans obsession with analyzing business practices, and ignore that they are getting a good show. Let the WWE worry about it. I'm pretty sure they wont go bankrupt cause they put Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan on RAW tonight. Now, I can understand if they were putting on bad shows, and questioning the product, but the financial aspects, let the WWE worry about that stuff. I just want a good show. Um... I don't think anyone here is upset that tonight's show might be better than your average RAW. The main point is that we RECOGNIZE the hotshotting and it comes across as desparate. Also, when you pu so many eggs into one basket, next week, when RAW is its normal, monotonous, uncreative self, you set yourself up for a huge letdown.

No on e is complaining about good wrestling matches. We're questioning unsound business practices.

THe collectors set does not have less than the regular one. I think what he was saying is that the only addition to the collector set is the addition of 3 matches. That's it.

I never thought I would say this but I agree with Bob Barron. ROH has evolved since 2002. 2003 had the Homicide-Corino feud and Raven-Punk feud that were better than any WWE feud from that year. Since then, a greater value has been given to the belts, featured heels like Jimmy Rave or the Rottweilers, plenty of outside guests and have featured more TALENT than any other U.S. fed going currently. The fans? Sometimes it sucks to hear the heckling or chants but they don't bother me anyway. Then again, I don't watch wrestling the same way you do so I can see where we are never going to agree on that subject. It is easy for me to watch the edited version of WWE and see the best matches from the year in comps but I find sitting through an entire stale, unoriginal WWE show painful. I would rather watch ROH stumble than see WWE maintain its status quo.

I don't know if you have heard us talk about it, but one of the posters here, EJ, has compiled the best matches from RAW and SD on comps for me and a couple of other posters who have picked them up and WWE is much easier to digest when you don't have to watch all of the crap.

Meltzer compares it to WCW giving away the Hogan-Goldberg match that cost them about 7 million dollars in revenue and would have been one of the three biggest PPV shows in company history.

Ok, from the Observer... Fuck it, I'll bump the topic in 3 weeks

From the Observer, here is the line-up for Sunday's show... Jarrett vs Nash (w/ Tito Ortiz as special referee) --- Man, this is giving me flashbacks of the last WCW PPV I ever sat through. That happened to be one of the worst shows on record when Goldberg turned heel and Sting-Vampiro had one of the worst matches ever. I have no faith that this match will be any good and may stop watching before it happens. I am guessing Jarrett retains after some Raven run-in backfires. Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles (30:00 Iron Man) --- Thirty minutes is too long for these guys. I like both in a limited capacity but not for 30 minutes. At some point in this match, I'll get bored and question why I bought the show. Samoa Joe vs. Jushin Liger --- The reason I am buying the show. Simple as that. Depends how long they give them. 20 minutes and I'll be satisfied. Less than 15 and it will be a letdown. Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams vs. Matt Bentley (Ultimate X match) --- I can only imagine that this will be some super nutty spotfest. I'll probably get a kick out of watching it live and then never watch it again. Sabu vs. Abyss vs. Rhino vs. Jeff Hardy (Monster's Brawl) --- Total crap match that may have the most heat on the show. I didn't mind the Hardy-Rhino match tonight as much as others on the net did but I think back to the last time I saw Sabu on PPV, on some horrible cage match on a WWA PPV. Please, too many negative flashbacks in this show. 3 Live Kru vs. A-1, Eric Young, & Bobby Roode --- This will probably suck. I have no faith in any of the 3 Live Kru members and have no idea who the other three are. To be fair, I have not seen any of the Kru wrestle in TNA. Monty Brown vs. Lance Hoyt --- Never seen either man but I am guessing this is to put over Monty strong. Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley --- Another match I would not mind seeing. I enjoyed watching both of these guys in ROH so give them 10-12 minutes and I will be happy. *2 more matches to be announced*

On Monday, Edge and Matt Hardy will have a loser-leaves-town ladder match. Now, the outcome isn't really in doubt as Meltz had this to say... From this week's Observer... Now, I haven't seen this theory put out there yet but I am sure someone else has thought of it. I think since they are having SD! wrestlers featured on Monday that during the ladder match, Christian will come down and cost Hardy the match. From there, Hardy is forced to move to SD! and he has a built-in feud with Christian who cost Hardy his final revenge. Now, it is no secret that Hardy's angle has not been capitalized on and any steam it had in the beginning has dissipated. I know they have had a few highlights but I am personally glad to see the feud come to an end. As for the match itself, I think it will be closer to the Edge-Christian ladder match from a few years back than a Razor-HBK affair. Either way, the most intriguing part for me is to see if my prediction comes true.

Honestly, I don't see why it would cost TNA much. I could show up and defend them on this case.

From this week's Observer WTF? I am speechless. For shits and giggles, can someone please attempt to support the Fed's position in this case. The dumbest thing ever. They might as well send a letter to the keeper of Karen Carpenter's estate asking them to cease and desist putting that song on any future Carpenters' releases.

Ok, a couple of notes... First off, with 1/1000th of the budget, the production values are 1000 times better than those of WCW. I know the ent is harping on featuring guys like Jeff Hardy, Leonard and other WWF rejects but I can see why they are doing it. The X division match was total spot-fu crap but the crowd was hyped and had more honest to goodness heat than anything I have seen in WWE in awhile. I am probably going to order the PPV tomorrow to check out Liger-Joe and to see how they handle the rest of the roster.

Meltz mentioned that the only way they could load it more was to add an elimination chamber. Knowing WWE, that could happen and I would not be shocked.

Does it even start tonight??? Honestly, I thought it debuted tonight. I could be wrong.

Speaking of Rude, Warrior fails to mention that Rude confronted him once and showed him how real of a man he was. As for the interview, obviously Warrior is delusional in thinking he meant that much to the industry. However, he is right when he calls out Vince and his sycophants. Vince has proven time and time again that he is a piece of trash and it must drive him nuts that Warrior refuses to play ball with him.
