  1. I just thought of some other possibilities... Best Heel Best Babyface
  2. We have several choices for our next tournament. If there is a choice I didn't think of, feel free to click other and voice your ideas.

  4. The Rock Rock never had a year as bad as Austin's return. However, the Bret Hart matches were better than Austin's matches with Jericho. I think this one comes down to attitude. Both were huge mainstream guys. Rock was leading the way in the biggest year of the company while Austin was on the shelf (2000). Rock does what is best for the company. Austin does what is best for Austin.
  5. Randy Savage I'll do a detailed comparison sooner or later.
  6. Ths is hard for me... I think Rock was very charismatic but so was Foley. Rock probably sold more tickets but Foley helped build guys whereas Rock would just get pinned by guys. Foley would get pinned clean whereas Rock would always lose by nefarious means. Foley's best match is better than Rock's best mmatch in the company. Damn... fuck it... I'm going with my favorite... Mick Foley
  7. If you are going by good-great matches, it is probably closer than you think. However, I think Rock brings more intangibles, plus some superb angles. The Rock.

  10. The one time I don't mind a chinlock is if the guy is actually putting the knee to the victim's back. If he pulls back on it and digs the knee in, I think that is an effective resthold as well. Too bad more guys don;t actually do it though.

  13. Which is another way of saying Hulk Hogan or bust. Really, everyone has proven they have different criteria for voting. If it was workrate, it would be a three-way between Bret, Eddie and Benoit. If it was as a draw, probably Hogan, Rock and Austin and that is it. I think the vote does come down to why you watch wrestling. When people say Taker did alot for the company, I disagree. I think the company did everything in their power to make him a monster... even to this day, at the expense of younger guys. If you vote for Taker od Hogan or Savage or Rock or Bret, it says alot aboutwh you like wrestling. It is also very telling that HHH is gone when he has been shoved down our throats more than anyone and is probably more influential on the company than anyone else.

  15. I never thought there would be an internet tourney where Benoit runs the risk of being shut out.
  16. It could be both, I guess. But I think Bret's wrestling outshines Hogan' entertainment value any day of the week.
  17. I never brought up the damege Hogan did. I am looking at matches. Hogan's good/great matches are few and far between when compared to Bret. Tis is another one of those matchups that tells us why you watch wrestling.
