  1. Jack Tunney is ready for any deal that will give an opportunity to showcase the NWA Canadian Champion as the premier wrestler in all of the NWA.
  2. If you want tapes, Maple Leaf can provide matches anytime, starting with the finals of the Canada Cup. If you want guys to come into your territory to tape a match, Jack Tunney is willing to send up one match once a month.
  3. There is a private message chat going on with every Canadian promotion to do a lot of joint things. Info coming soon. That one makes perfect sense, since we area all; socialist pigs.
  4. I'm really enjoying working with others here, doing joint shows, talent trades, etc... It is a part that I didn't think about when I signed up, but it's been a lot of fun.
  5. Frank Valois and Jack Tunney are proud to announce a coalition to run shows in Halifax, Nova Scotia. On the second Monday of each month stars from both Maple Leaf Wrestling and International Wrestling will appear on a joint card at the Forum in Halfix! The Maritimes will never be the same!
  6. This is how I feel. Don't even think you should be able to draft past teams if they weren't together as of July 1st and had not been for some time. Otherwise that would have changed my draft strategy for my planned team of Dr. D & Dennis Condrey (who teamed for a bit in Memphis in 1980) I don't care either way, what do others think? I don't plan on drafting former teams at all. Depends on what it is. If someone wants to draft The Blackjacks together that would be ok with me even though they weren't teaming at the time. It would need to be something on that level, a team that was clearly established as a team, had a long run together and did eventually reunite to team up for a bit. It couldn't have happened due to saves but if someone had decided in the 1st round that they wanted to draft The Texas Outlaws: Dusty Rhodes & Dick Murdoch then that wouldn't have been ok. That seems perfect. No drafting a team that was short lived from 81 or something silly.
  7. That's the only time I considered picking a team, unfortunately my team (Fantastic Ones) was selected. I think my promotion will be running all brand new tag teams.

  9. I have one in a few rounds, and a 28 gap earlier. This draft is not kind to me.
  10. Dylan is up now!
  11. There goes me reuniting the North West Connection.
  12. Wahoo selects The Moondogs (Rex & Spot)!
  13. There has been some really smart drafting, based on your promotion here. I like it. I have the perfect guy for me, but my pick isn't for a while.
  14. Former teams I have no issue with, future teams is fishy. What do others think?
  15. Yeah.. easier roll if you have connections, I like that. I don't know what is a good rate of injuries?
  16. I like, if you want to bring someone out of retirement then you have to roll something on a dice for it to happen? For injuries, I like every week or two, randomly selected someone (using random number generator) to be injured for a random number generated amount of time.
  17. Deaths settled. Injuries and retirements need to be hashed out.
  18. So either Kris or Parv drop out? If Kris and Parv can form a compromise on the death rules than I am down for whatever rules they make.
  19. Maybe we need to use some DD type rules. You want this person to come back out of retirement.. we roll a dice and decide.
  20. We obviously can't have a system where everybody retired can come back, but there needs to be some kind of randomness too.
  21. I agree.
  22. Injuries need to be addressed.
  23. Its 's a great pick!!! So jealous.
  24. I am completely against great match theory. Shawn had way more great matches, I will admit that. By "Great Match Theory' Shawn is better, but I am anti-Great Match Theory, just like Matt D.
  25. Fantastic Ones were my next pick!
