President Jack Tunney approaches the podium to announce the next pick in the draft! "As President of the esteemed Maple Leaf Wrestling I am pleased to point out that we will feature the best wrestlers from around the world. Our next talent may not be popular here in Canada although he should see some great battles come out of it. Much like in hockey, Canada and Russia have battled to be number one, well the same is true in wrestling and today I am happy to announce the next piece of the Maple Leaf Wrestling roster in "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff!

Maple Leaf Wrestling President Jack Tunney and World Wrestling Federation owner Vince McMahon are proud to announce a partnership going forward. On the monthly Maple Leaf Gardens show the WWF will provide two matches to the show, including a title match. Jack Tunney was really proud to announce the great stars of the WWF will be frequently seen here in Maple Leaf Wrestling and will be a big fixture at Maple Leaf Gardens for years to come.

My next pick is either a reach or an amazing pick. I think he is perfect for what I want to do and my area, so let me judged soon. -

Some really good picks today! JHawk picking up Dory in attempts to lure Terry when he comes out of retirement is genius. Boricua picking up Pedro makes complete sense for WWC. Dylan is building the best working roster in Buddy, Windham and Dundee. -
WWN airing on the WWE Network please!

Flair's podcast (WOOOOONation)
Grimmas replied to JerryvonKramer's topic in Publications and Podcasts
Another great episode with Steamboat and I enjoy the wild night out stories (like this week the bar tab story involving the two of them and Piper), though I do find the mentioning of the wives and the divorces a tad tiresome. Plenty of good stuff between the two of them and I especially liked to hear them talk about the late 70s Mid-Atlantic era. I think some of the criticisms are harsh and too an extent nit picking; Jim Ross is awful when dragging out and reading his sponsors (same for Jericho), it's hardly Terry Garvin Simmes levels of bad audio (and I like this podcast a lot and find those issues part of the charm) and Conrad certainly isn't Alice Radley. JvK summed it up perfectly though and that's pretty much why I don't bother with certain podcasts. I don't listen to any of those though, so I am equally harsh. -
Wait, you are going to run in my hone arena? WWF didn't start running Maple Leaf Gardens until 84, when they struck a deal with Jack Tunney. Are you declaring war on me?

My proposal is that between 10 am EST (7 AM Pacific, 3 PM London) and 9 PM EST (6 PM PST, 2 AM London) we go with a way shorter time limit, like 60-90 minutes and outside of that time we go with the ten hours. -

Yeah, maybe a few hours than. Just take into account west coast and England -

Ok, Garvin, Murdoch and Tito were legit my next three I wanted. -
Might as well announce it here by Maple Leaf Wrestling and the World Wrestling Council have secured a trade which involves Sgt. Slaughter & Greg Valentine (and maybe Martel).

Buddy and Barry is an amazing start to any roster. The race for Bobby Bass is on! -
Wow! He is more delusional than I thought. Yes, everybody only hates Russo because he was the most amazing asshole character ever in WCW. Yep, he was that good folks!

True, but if we assume that the previous vote was on 1/1/83, then the next one is due on 7/1/83. Did they only get together every six months? They had telephones in 1983, so let's assume we can change the champion anytime.

I saw we plan to have Race drop the title at Starrcade to somebody (Flair, DiBiase or Greg Valentine)
