  1. Blind spots? Recording part of the GWE Launch Party podcast and with one of the guests we got into that topic. To me, it's impossible to be well versed in every wrestler and topic. Nobody is an expert on all types of music, there is just too much. EDIT: WOS, Shoot style will not be got to from me at all in the next 5 years. I really only care about women's wrestling now and I have to fill in from 1992-2017 for joshi, all of luchadoras, and plus indies outside of Shimmer pre 2017.
  2. Adding a question about where you participated in the project to the voting is a very easy thing to do. Then I could list out here is the top whatever for people who participated here. That will be done.
  3. Exactly yeah, and I'll be reaching out to those people and have.
  4. I do love these last two posts and the more coming out of this project the better. Any particular ideas would be wonderful to hear, but there is a LOT planned. That podcast launch will reveal all that, coming to you WrestleMania week.
  5. This is the point and crux of the project!!!
  6. Both ends is stupid, but I thought -5 was his lowest, so it was 5 on both sides. Also negative stars is stupid regardless.
  7. I just didn't like it because I am a logic and math nerd with a Masters in Mathematics and having a scale with a sliding upper limit offends me.
  8. To me a scale rating where the upper limit can change at any time makes the scale useless. I use a 10 rating number system, but whatever. I will never say this match is 11 at some point.
  9. The launch party podcast will be coming out right before WrestleMania and recorded over the next few weeks or so. I have a whole slew of amazing guests lined up, but outside of how to participate and the rules, what all do you want to hear in discussions?
  10. I felt drained after GWE for two reasons, 1) I was running it 2) it wasn't the process, it was people whining about the results and then going on rants about how it was a failure and waste of time, etc...
  11. Not to mention focus on what to watch, there is so much sometimes it's overwhelming.
  12. Watching everything in that view I know all too well. Everything before 2016 was in that mode, then took a break, now everything is again. It's fascinating and I do kind of love it.
  13. Maybe I haven't watched enough Omega, but isn't the case for him the long epics with insane moves and elite athleticism and DM 5 star classics? That's the exact case for Toyota too.
  14. Poor babies
  15. If anyone wants to vote Omega and they are not voting Toyota, I question them.
  16. We can do this, but I need guest writers for articles. If people want to commit.
  17. bare minimum! Jaguar, Devil, Hokuto, Bull, Kong, Meiko, all should be high on people's lists.
  18. I could do a zine, but it will have a secret mission of pushing joshi candidates and getting Jaguar/Hokuto/Nakano 1/2/3 on the overall list, so be careful what you ask for.
  19. I appreciate the comments Tanner and am very on board with you. Is a slack worth it, would be my question?
  20. Discord will be used for watch parties, if you want voice conversations, that is all.
  21. Okay, we may need some clarification. There will be a central hub that will document the process. The bulk of the work will be done. However, some people may not feel welcomed or like that particular type of hub, so there will be other hubs for watching and discussing. All hubs are optional, it's about how you feel comfortable and feel engaged in the project. If people want everything on the central hub then make it as engaging and welcoming as possible.
  22. No, tag team one failed last time. Less voters, less participation. Too much of an ask. If someone else wants to, they can feel free of course.
  23. I've had a lot of discussions with people over the last 5 years since 2016. I have to say that the people who are the most invested for 2026, the most excited for 2026, and will probably add the most to 2026, are people who barely participated in 2016 and threw in a ballot in the end. Obviously going out and fishing for voters is nothing I did in 2016 and wouldn't for 2026, but encouraging people to get involved and do vote is something I am all for. I want as many people as possible to be involved, not just the same 20 white hardcore male fans who are going to watch 2 million hours of footage. It's about the process and the journey and I want people to go through that. Throwing up a litmus test only means less people will care or try now and in the future.
  24. I love you, but you are a wild person and very wrong.
  25. Oh yeah, I voted Flair too high due to that.
