Okay, we may need some clarification. There will be a central hub that will document the process. The bulk of the work will be done. However, some people may not feel welcomed or like that particular type of hub, so there will be other hubs for watching and discussing. All hubs are optional, it's about how you feel comfortable and feel engaged in the project. If people want everything on the central hub then make it as engaging and welcoming as possible.

No, tag team one failed last time. Less voters, less participation. Too much of an ask. If someone else wants to, they can feel free of course.

I've had a lot of discussions with people over the last 5 years since 2016. I have to say that the people who are the most invested for 2026, the most excited for 2026, and will probably add the most to 2026, are people who barely participated in 2016 and threw in a ballot in the end. Obviously going out and fishing for voters is nothing I did in 2016 and wouldn't for 2026, but encouraging people to get involved and do vote is something I am all for. I want as many people as possible to be involved, not just the same 20 white hardcore male fans who are going to watch 2 million hours of footage. It's about the process and the journey and I want people to go through that. Throwing up a litmus test only means less people will care or try now and in the future.

I love you, but you are a wild person and very wrong.
-
Oh yeah, I voted Flair too high due to that.
-
isn't people being swayed by discussions a good thing? If the discussions yields to 0 changes they are pointless.
-
I have been play tested them for like 6 months, no. We disagree a LOT.
-
The answer is basically, whatever you think makes a great wrestler is your criteria, just base it on footage. If you want Dusty above Arn, go for it. Just lay out your reasoning and criteria.
-
The ideas lined up being alluded to by people makes me happy.

A discord where people can share their screens and videos has been play tested for months now and will be ready to go for the official 2026 announcement. Live watches will be a thing from day one.

The only criteria I am comfortable with his it's based on footage. Art is so subjective, what people think are great is so widely varied. Is it variety, is it length of time, or prime, is it great storytelling matches or the most awesome execution, is it in ring charisma, is it their ability of selling, is it having great matches or is it pulling good matches out of other shitty wrestlers, etc... I'm not sure what criteria we could actually make?

Ric Flair is not in my top 1000 favourite wrestlers, I feel the pain. Last time I put Flair 10, because I felt I had to. I regret that now, but I don't know how low I can put him. It's s struggle between what we like and what we think is good.

Well if you feel you have seen enough then vote Londos all you want!
-
Your own criteria, but based on footage so no Londos, because we have seen nothing? Although, I don't know anyone who claims the greatest movie is the one who made the most money, but whatever floats your boat

Yeah, I just want people to discuss. If you want to vote for Great Khali #1, go for it. However, let's just talk it out first. Not sure how that would be forced though, I think if we can find a way to make people more comfortable discussing wherever and however that is, we are in a good spot.

Are you legit asking me to do a monthly newsletter to everyone?
-
Thanks for your suggestions, yes some of these ideas have been floating around. Do NOT expect this to be a centralized project. If you only visit one site, you may not hear a lot of discussions and debates people are having. People will have to just accept that part. However, there can be links from one to the other so people are aware. 2026 will not be the PWO GWE List or whatever.

I alluded to asking this in another thread, but it turned into another discussion, so I am making a new thread. Update: Official rules and launching pad will be revealed on a Pro Wrestling Super Show podcast during WrestleMania week this year. Until then, things are being ironed out. There is some cool new changes and add ons for 2026 that we have cooked up, but things can always be made better. If you have any ideas hit them up here, if you haven't already privately done that to me. Outside of having great discussions, the other aspect of this project I really want to focus on is not making an all boys party. I'm looking at ways to make this more inclusive and diverse, but if you have any let me know as well. Just a small hint of things to come, maybe there will be more than one way/place to have discussions? Okay people, you are all wise, let's make 2026 so much better than 2016.

My issue is, as always, I only put things on a list if it's great, so matches that are just good I can often not remember if I've seen them or not. I will watch EVERY SINGLE Hokuto match I can, so thanks for the list and I will either watch those or start to watch them only to realize I saw them once before Like you said, any match from Hokuto that is available is worth watching!
-
THIS! It would had ruled and been way more varied then people think. Probably would had been the best set altogether.
-
Any match she is in she RULES. Literally watch any one.
-
Here is my list of insanely great Hokuto matches in order (up to my current watch): vs Bull (91-1-4) w/ Suzuka Minami vs Yumiko Hotta & Mitsuko Nishiwaki (90-5-13) vs Manami Toyota (90-8-19) vs Manami Toyota (91-1-11) w/ Suzuka Minami vs Kyoko Inoue & Manami Toyota (90-11-14) w/ Suzuka Minami vs Crush Gals (89-4-27) vs Suzuka Minami (91-4-29) Here is the thing with Hokuto too, it's not all about great matches. Put on ANY SINGLE Hokuto match and she's stand out great in it. The match can be fine or amazing, doesn't matter, she's fucking great in it. I don't want to rehash great match theory again, already, but fuck great match theory.

I'll have to put that into a chart to see if I 100% agree.

Longevity is something I understand, but it's a difficult thing to think about and I am not sure. It's something I really need to debate as we move along. I started in the early 1980s and I am half way through 1991 for joshi. Ohmori seemed awesome, and the list of people I want to see more of it SUPER HIGH! I want to note I think Hokuto's run is longer than people think. In 87 she was FUCKING INSANELY GREAT! By 1988 she could be considered the best in the world. People talk about her like she was only great in 92-94, but that's not true at all.
