That certainly reads awful. I wish Dave would be less vague, because I think if you read between the lines it's pretty clear, but he doesn't go right out and say it. Which says something about certain promoters than Moolah. Dave was likely vague because he had nothing concrete. Really? We all know what promoters can be like and being on the road with the guys. Moolah was sending the amount of women needed for the time needed and were taught not to complain or cause trouble and any one who did was gone. That sounds pretty fucked up to me and I don't know how you can read that as Moolah being innocent.

Is Atlantis the most underrated historical figure in wrestling?
Grimmas replied to Sean Liska's topic in Pro Wrestling
Having two of the greatest matches in wrestling history 14 years apart is kind of crazy. -
Most don't and anyone who does would get the real obit/facts in the actually Observer. There was no rush if that was his reasoning.
-
Sure. If I were researching an obit on Bruno, I would check out Daves feed for possible reference points. I wouldnt take it as gospel, but good chance I would look at it. Ok, that is where we differ. If you are right, and if Dave knows these reports check his feed then it may be awkward, but at least has a purpose. I really doubted any news source would check his twitter, hence why it comes off poorly to me.
-
Childs, do you really think any single person writing these articles will see Dave's tweet?
-
Do you not see the difference? Also it would totally depend on when and how it was tweeted.
-
Incorrect. One person did that. Almost no one else did.

You know what's fun? People A: This was a little socially clueless, maybe shouldn't had said that. People B: Isn't it amazing how people will get outraged about anything? I'm outraged. People A: We are not outraged at all, it just came off wrong. People B: People will get outraged over anything.

It's like the people going on about snowflakes, who are the actually real snowflakes.

Sadly, yes. could not agree more here its so Pavlovian Do you actually understand Pavlov's dog study?

Why because Bruno just died today. That's why people don't like it. I saw that he paid tribute and that's the right thing to have done. A significant news story ? It's a fecking sell out number for msg from over forty years ago. I'm not desperate to be outraged but bringing it up today but now isn't the time or place. Bruno's death is a significant news story. I know that when I'm writing an obituary for a prominent person, which I've done plenty of times, I work extra hard to get the facts right. An obituary is like the final word on someone's life. If anything, I'd argue it's more important to be careful with the details in that context. I know if I were writing Bruno's obituary, I would be happy that Dave, as an authority in the field, clarified this point. Then maybe don't go on twitter, and just send correction notices to people writing the article with the mistake in it? Why shouldn't he post factual (and in no way negative or critical) information on Twitter? Have we really become this infantilized? I don't even get where people are coming from with this. Not one person who is writing these stories will read Dave's twitter. He has corrected nothing. Also, it's just about timing. The amount of sell outs he did is irrelevant today, especially for stories on ESPN's website or whatever.

Odd question, but what was wrong with the SuperBrawl V originals? The ppv on the network starts midway through the opener and says it's presented in best form possible. By 1995, I thought WCW would have their stuff in good shape.

You should, the show has been amazing since Enzo left. The slow build to that tag feud has been great. I'm sure it will continue to escalate from here.

Ok, looking at the move and assuming male heels for male heels, female faces for female faces, etc.. these are the trades: Natalya for Asuka Riot Squad for Absolution Breezango & Ascension for The Bar & Gallows/Anderson Bobby Roode, Zack Ryder, & Chad Gable for Jeff Hardy & R-Truth\ Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler, & Mike Kanellis for Samoa Joe, The Miz, & Big Cass These are Adam Larsson for Taylor Hall level of shitty trades.

I prefer Sasuke-Liger, always have. Still more like 4 1/2-3/4

Jeff totally drafted to SD.

JR Goldberg and myself have started a new show. First episode is now up, and a new one will be up every Monday (we have three more recorded and are trying to stay way ahead). We are taking look at the bizarre and shitty of wrestling and we start off with the very first Punjabi Prison Match between Big Show and The Undertaker from the 2006 Great American Bash. Enjoy on the PWO Podcast Network! https://soundcloud.com/prowrestlingonly/wbt001

I never said anything about concussions though? I swear, sometimes this board is worse than the game "telephone." Seriously? Someone: Jesus, Jinder hit Jeff with three legit head shots in that match You: He deserves it. What do you think legit head shots do?
-
Sorry, not sorry. When you recklessly endanger other people's lives by driving under the influence, you're a selfish piece of shit and I don't care what happens to you. Yes, DUI's are the fucking worse and I'd probably want them fired. However giving them concussions is not cool.

Pretty sure bad booking killed SD, their roster was pretty fucking good after last year's shakeup. Booking was shit, yes. However the show fell apart right after the shake up, so it may be just more coincidence.
-
Stacey should be the only person to ever give reviews on anything, because she's the beset.
-
As long as, after this, they do something with Becky Lynch. SD has been shit, so hopefully something helps them unlike the last shake up, which pretty much killed their show.
