  1. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, on ESPN / TSN, April 18th Steve Blackman vs. Nick Stanbury Blackman has been something of a hot run of late, which has set him up for his Pacific Submission Title shot at Vegas Vengeance next week. He showed why he was worthy of this shot in this match, where he easily dominated Nick Stanbury throughout this match, ultimately putting him away with a cross armbreaker. It remains to be seen if this momentum with carry him through his match with Dean Malenko and bring him the Submission belt. Chris Hamrick vs. Art Barr Another wrestler who has been building up momentum has been Art Barr, but the Hexagon member has gone about it a different way. Barr has been fired by pure fury to fuel him in his matches, tearing into Hamric with clear relish. The Trios Champ wasn't about to roll over for Barr, but it wasn't enough, and Barr defeated him with a Tombstone followed by a Frog Splash. Given he is facing both Roddy Piper and Dragon Azul in the near future, Barr had best hope that his flame does not get extinguished. Dan Severn vs. Rob Zakowski Rob Zakowski may be in the thrall of the Sinister Minister, but has gained something of a following with his cool confidence and spectacular moves. Facing the considerable skill and gravitas of Dan Severn, Zakowski gave it all he had, thrilling the fans with his daredevil high flying. Severn bided his time and was able to catch Zakowski with a series of takeover suplexes to earn the victory. A tough loss, but Zakowski is certainly a young talent to look out for. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests have some big matches coming up in the next week … the Terror Collective! The crowd boos, but Ted Dibiase , Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, Gary Albright and David Young were all jovial laughter as they made their way to the ring. Dibiase : Take a good long look, Coss, because this is a sight you won't be seeing again for a long while … the Terror Collective without any gold! Next week, the Dreamboats will surrender their titles to the Oregon Wrecking Crew! The Miracle Violence Connection will grab the Pacific Tag Titles from Phoenix Rising, just like taking candy from a baby! And if, through some miracle, Ricky Steamboat survives the cage match with Dr. Death here, I am waiting to swoop in and become the new Pacific champ. I am the Man Of Means! I always get what I want, and my plan is at last coming together! Williams : That's right, Ted! Steamboat, you've wriggled out of my grasp before, but you are going to have no way to escape when I get you in the cage! And Bret Hart? My good buddy Bamm Bamm has something to say to you! Gordy : Bret Hart, you greasy little punk! There's nothing I hate more than Daddy's Boys, and there's no one I hate more than you. After the Night Of The Steel, you ain't gonna be nothing more than a grease stain on the mat. And at Vegas Vengeance, Doc and I are gonna squash Phoenix Rising like two bugs and walk out the Pacific Tag Champs, no doubt about it! The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Virgilio Garcia & John Paul Calderon In their first, relatively brief run in PCW, the Force Of July garnered a considerable following among the fans. With the return of the Patriot and the team's reunion, the masked duo picked up right where they left off. They steamrolled right over Garcia and Calderon, polishing off Calderon with a double flying clothesline. They are in fine fettle going into their climactic showdown with the Midnight Express. Speaking of which … Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are … well, probably going to talk a lot … Jim Cornette and Camp Cornette! More boos , but Cornette has no time for it as he marched his men out to the ring. Coss : Jim Cornette, once again, you seem to have a bee in your bonnet. Cornette : Oh, do I ever have one, Coss, and I am going to tell you what is bugging me. This should be a great time for me. The Loverboy is the California champ, the Midnight Express are about to settle the hash of the masked morons, and I have the hottest new team in wrestling, the Hollywood Heartbreakers, in my camp. But this bee in my bonnet is the one fly in the ointment. Everywhere I turn, I have to face this DI goon, Sgt. Laughter. Well, guess what, Gomer? I've something special for you. I have been spending the past few weeks honing my secret weapon, and he is razor sharp. You are about to get trampled by the Italian Stallion! Big Vito : You got it, Jimmy! Slaughter, I have been waiting for this ever since I came to the West Coast. I am the Pavarotti Of Shots To The Body, and I have got a lot of bruises I am going to put on you! I am going to send you whimpering back to Basic like the chum you are. You are about to get a dishonorable discharge, make no mistake about it! Billy Gunn vs. Buddy Rose One of the key factors of late in many of the Playboy Club's victories has been their manager, Tina Ferrari. Gunn clearly was trying to keep one wary eye on Tina and one on Rose. Unfortunately for the genial cowboy, having his attention divided ended up costing him. While looking out for Ms. Ferrari, he was vulnerable to a cheap shot by Rose, and the Playboy capitalized with an Inside Out Backbreaker for the win. Just goes to show you, Rose and the Playboy Club are always a dangerous proposition. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Phoenix Rising (Kensuke Sasaki & Toshiaki Kawada) © vs. Jimmy Del Ray & Billy Black Phoenix Rising are on the verge of their most fearsome challenge yet, the Miracle Violence Connection, but tonight must defend against Jim Cornette's promising team of the Gigolo and the Redneck Casanova. The Heartbreakers proved game contenders, keeping the Japanese duo on their toes, but it was clearly all over when Kawada hit a brainbuster on Del Ray. Strangely, Kawada didn't go for the pin, instead locking Del Ray in the Kawada Crab (single leg Boston Crab while stepping on the opponents head) to force the Gigolo to tap out. Time will tell how this new aggression from Kawada will serve them against Doc and Gordy.
  2. Makes sense. Thanks for the comprehensive list. BTW Billy Gunn is already in the game and would not be available for draft.
  3. Seeing some Japanese workers on the lists, Jinsei Shizaki/Hakushi did debut in 1991.
  4. Michael Manna AKA Stevie Richards debuted in November 1991, according to Wikipedia. Also Robert Thompson. PS Thanks to both of you for getting the ball rolling with this.
  5. John Saxon! I loved him in Enter The Dragon! And Mitchell!
  6. Hot on the heels of the announcement of the full card for Vegas Vengeance, there is an extra cherry on the top of that announcement. Both to add more excitement and to hopefully resolve some ongoing issues the week before Vengeance, there will be a special theme to next week's show at San Francisco : Night Of The Steel. Not one, not two, but THREE huge cage matches! Some of the top stars of Pacific Coast Wrestling will put it all on the line in these amazing cage matches. Here are those matches Cage Match : Roddy Piper vs. Art Barr Cage Match : Bret Hart vs. Terry Gordy Pacific Heavyweight Title Cage Match : Ricky Steamboat (c) vs. Steve Williams This is bound to be an incredible show, so don't you dare miss it!
  7. We are just 2 weeks away from one of Pacific Coast Wrestling's premiere events, Vegas Vengeance, and are pleased to present the full match listing. Along with the annual Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament, with the top tag teams of the West Coast fighting it out in a tournament with a $1 Million prize, there are many other great matches set up. With regards to the Golden State Tag Team Title match between the Dreamboats and the Oregon Wrecking Crew, Commissioner Dutch Savage has added a stipulation that, should Coast 2 Coast and/or Makhan Singh interfere in any way during the course of the match, they will be all of them suspended without pay for 6 months. Here is the full rundown of the event : Pacific Coast Wrestling Vegas Vengeance from the Showboat Arena, Las Vegas, Night One Pacific Trios Title Match : The Money Train (Jason Jett, David Cash & Chris Hamrick ) © vs. Eddie Guerrero, The Lightning Kid & Rob Zakowski Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament First Round Match : Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. The Fighting Irish (Fit Finlay & Erin O'Grady) Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament First Round Match : Harlem Heat vs. The Swords Of Light (Gama Singh & Konnan) (courtesy of the AWA) Sgt. 8. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, April 13th Stormwatch (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) vs. The Lightning Kid & Rob Zakowski Both teams fought hard in a thrilling match that went to Stormwatch, with Snow catching Zakowski in a Snow Bomb. Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Chris Adams These two rough and tumble customers continued their war, with Adams catching Ouellet coming off the ropes with a Superkick for the win. The Thrillseekers vs. The Midnight Express The Thrillseekers put in a truly impressive performance before the more experienced Midnights took down Jericho in a Veg-O-Matic to emerge victorious. Sgt. Slaughter vs. Jimmy Del Ray Sarge put away another of Jim Cornette's men with the Slaughter Cannon. Terry Gordy vs. Kensuke Sasaki Gordy overpowered the Pacific Tag champ and defeated him with a Power Bomb. Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Dragon Azul © vs. David Cash The champ held off a challenge from emerging young star Cash by way of a Dragon Suplex.
  9. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, April 12th Big Bully Busick & Shane Douglas vs. Sabu & Eddie Guerrero Once again, this match was chaos pretty much from the get go, as the east coast duo from the Citadel brawled with the members of the Hexagon and wound up being declared a no contest. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) & Steven Regal vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) & Makhan Singh This was another rematch from last week and a furious battle, this time going to the Dreamboats and Regal as the English Lion dodged first the Karachi Crunch and a California Kick to catch Tatum in the Regal Plex. Toshiaki Kawada vs. Ted Dibiase Kawada continued to show a renewed aggressive streak, giving Dibiase a lot to handle before the Man Of Means was able to pin him following a powerslam off the ropes. Art Barr vs. Chris Candido Barr kept up his resurgence by defeating the Playboy Club member with a Frog Splash. Roddy Piper & Bret Hart vs. Buddy Rose & Scotty The Body The dream duo of Piper and Hart had a long and wild match with the Playboy Club. The finish came when Hart clotheslined Scotty out of the ring while Piper blocked an attempted Inside Out Backbreaker, pinning Rose with a Belly To Back Suplex. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Dennis Condrey The night closed with Steamboat defending against a top contender, in this case the California champ "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey. Condrey has been on fire since his return to the West Coast and put up a ferocious challenge before The Dragon was finally able to put him down with a running cross body press.
  10. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN, April 11th Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. Jimmy Del Ray & Billy Black Iron & Steel continue their march to Vegas Vengeance by taking on Jim Cornette's young Hollywood Heartbreakers pairing. Cornette kept running his mouth through the match, but despite his men's unquestionable skill and potential , the powerful duo of Atlas and Cameron would not be denied, and Atlas took Black down with a devastating piledriver for the win. Iron & Steel are clearly the team to beat in the Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament. Brian Lee vs. Dan Barry The big Bulldozer has been getting more and more fierce as he continues to separate himself from his past in the Brigade. With Tina Ferrari loudly cheering his every move from ringside, Lee utterly destroyed Barry before putting him to rest with the Prime Time Slam. He may be part of the Playboy Club, but Lee is truly making a name for himself. Steve Blackman vs. Big Vito Lograsso Two more young stars on the way up are Blackman and Lograsso. The Living Weapon has earned a solid reputation as a fierce competitor and has worked his way towards a Submission Title shot at Vegas Vengeance. Big Vito has been making his own mark in his short career so far, and if he was at all impressed with Blackman's reputation, he certainly didn't let it show. The Italian Stallion seemed out to show that he could hit just as hard as Blackman, and both men had conspicuous welts and bruises by the end of the match. It wound up going to the full 15 minute time limit, and while neither man could claim victory, they could rest assured they had turned heads with their shows of strength. Dan Severn vs. Fit Finlay Blackman's mentor Dan Severn was up next, and while the Beast had recently suffered a loss to Ted Dibiase , he was out to show that he had not lost a step. He was facing a man who was harder than the proverbial coffin nail, and it took a lot for Severn to get through the Belfast Bruiser's defenses, but he did ultimately triumph, pinning Finlay with a cradle suplex. Roddy Piper vs. Buddy Rose Piper has been tormenting Buddy Rose for the past few months with hit and run tactics, but now they would finally square off face to face. Piper continued to use hit and run tactics against Rose, frustrating the Playboy at every turn . He finally got Rose in a Sleeper Hold , but before any damage could be done, Scotty The Body charged out and broke it up, leading to a DQ finish. Before the pair could do more damage, Bret Hart ran out and scattered them from the ring. Piper got on the mic and challenged them to a tag match versus himself and the Hitman the next night , but before they could respond, Commissioner Dutch Savage came out and said that the match was as good as signed and that was final. The flustered Playboy Club had no choice but to retreat to the locker room and scheme for the next night.
  11. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, April 6th Big Bully Busick vs. Billy Black Black put in a game effort before Busick ultimately put him down with the Spinebuster Slam. The Money Train (Jason Jett & Chris Hamrick) vs. The Fighting Irish (Fit Finlay & Erin O'Grady) The Money Trained showed they were a force to be reckoned with in any configuration, with Jett pinning O'Grady following the Money Clip (springboard somersault clothesline). Steve Blackman vs. Chris Adams Blackman was able to block an attempted Superkick with a legsweep, then force Adams to surrender to a Figure Four Leglock. Toshiaki Kawada vs. Genichiro Tenryu There seemed to be an added edge of viciousness to Kawada's offense, which caught Tenryu off guard. Tenryu was able to weather out the storm and defeat his younger opponent with a snap Brainbuster. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Shinya Hashimoto Condrey just barely survived the challenge from the former TV champ, putting down the Japanese star with an Inverted DDT. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) & Steven Regal vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) & Makhan Singh This was a war, as one could imagine given the intense hatred between the two sides. Neither team held anything back, and the match was always on the verge of descending into chaos. Singh proved his value to his team by crushing Shane in the corner with the Karachi Crunch (Avalanche) for the win. Regardless, much like the night before, the two sides kept fighting after the pinfall before finally separating.
  12. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN , April 5th The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Gary Albright & David Young) This was a hugely competitive match between two top teams, and the Force Of July was able to score the hard fought victory with a double flying shoulder tackle on Young. Billy Gunn vs. Brian Lee Lee was even more aggressive than the match from last week, pinning Gunn after the Prime Time Slam. The Thrillseekers vs. Eddie Guerrero & Dean Malenko An appropriately thrilling match with Jericho forcing Guerrero with the Liontamer. David Cash vs. Art Barr Barr continued his run of strong performances by pinning young Cash with a Frog Splash. Dan Severn vs. Ted Dibiase Dibiase's path to challenge for the Pacific Title hit a bit of a slow down as he faced the leader of the Citadel. Severn was able to stymie Dibiase throughout the match with his considerable technical skills. The Man Of Means dug into his considerable bag of dirty tricks to turn the tide, slugging Severn in the back of head with his loaded glove before hitting the Power Driver fistdrop to steal the win. Ricky Steamboat & Bret Hart vs. The Miracle Violence Connection This was something of a dream match, with the miracle pairing of the Pacific Heavyweight champ and the beloved Canadian superstar going to war with the Miracle Violence Connection. Steamboat and Hart came in ready for battle, and Williams and Gordy responded in kind. The result was an epic match, with plentiful big moves and dramatic moments. They were still tearing into each other when the match hit the 30 minute mark, leading to a time limit draw, but they kept at it after the match ended, and it took considerable effort to separate the two sides.
  13. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on ESPN / TSN, April 4th Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Stevie Ray The Fighting French Canadian has eagerly thrown himself into the fray with his and Steve Austin's combined wars with the Diamond Exchange. While Stevie Ray had his brother Booker T as well as DDP in his corner, Ouellet was backed up by Austin, and the ref gave all of the cornermen stern warnings to keep their noses clean under threat of severe repercussions. There was still simmering heat over this match that was in constant threat of boiling over, and it took considerable effort for Ouellet to take Stevie down with the Package Piledriver. There was a lot of glaring between both sides but they returned to their locker rooms without incident. Something tells me this won't last. Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. Brian Corridan & Brandon Bellinger Iron & Steel continue to stand tall as one of the most dominant duos on all of the West Coast, destroying Corridan and Bellinger in this match. Cameron flattened Corridan with a diving clothesline, and Atlas followed up with a running splash to get the win. The annual Moondog Lonnie Mayne Memorial Tag Team Tournament is coming up at the end of the month, and Cameron and Atlas are in an excellent position to do well in it. Jerry Lynn vs. Jimmy Del Ray With the Hollywood Heartbreakers being mostly made up of rookies, it seems that Jim Cornette is relying on "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Ray to be the in ring leader . The more experienced Del Ray certainly has the confidence to keep his partners in line, and this singles match showed his considerable skill as he battled the highly talented Jerry Lynn. While this was a back and forth showdown, Del Ray came out on top with the Moonsault Press. Cornette clearly has a keen eye for talent and putting the right men in the right combination. Big Vito Lograsso vs. Bobby Mason While Cornette has Del Ray for his in ring leader, Big Vito continues to be his go to man for raw violence. The Italian Stallion battered and bruise Mason in his rapidly developing style, polishing him off with the Sicilian Smash (running forearm smash to the face). While Lograsso is very early on in his career, he is wasting no time in earning a reputation as a fearsome competitor. Shane Douglas vs. The Lightning Kid The return of Douglas' good friend Big Bully Busick seems to have reinvigorated the young superstar. The ambush from Sabu did not keep Busick down for long, and Douglas was clearly inspired by this as he clashed with Lightning Kid. After an incredibly fast paced match, Douglas caught the Kid coming off the ropes in a Belly To Belly Suplex to put him down for good. It looks like Douglas is truly coming of age. Pacific Television Title Match : Scotty The Body © vs. Al Snow Scotty has been all confidence since winning the TV title (and for a long time before that), but he got a real scare in this match. Snow caught him off guard and managed to get several very close near falls. Scotty had to go outside to be calmed down by Tina Ferrari, and managed to sneak in a nasty cheap shot to set up the Body Shot (DDT) and successfully defend his title. Scotty has been having a great title reign so far, but needs to start taking things seriously if he wants it to continue.
  14. A grand part of the legacy of WCCW. Was he the guy who basically trash talked Gino after he died?
  15. Pacific Coast Wrestling Show from the UCSB Event Center, Santa Barbara, March 30th David Cash & Jason Jett vs. Rob Zakowski & The Lightning Kid In this fast paced and exciting match between two rookie teams, the Money Train just pulled it out with Cash rolling through a Sunset Flip by Lightning Kid and countering with a double leg rollup to score the pinfall. Chris Hamrick vs. Art Barr Barr continued his resurgence by hitting a Tombstone Piledriver on Hamrick and following up with a Frog Splash to emerge victorious. The Thrillseekers vs. The Suicide Blondes The young Thrillseekers lived up to their name, thrilling the fans on the way to a win with Lance Storm forcing Louie Spicolli to surrender to the Rolling Maple Leaf. Sgt. Slaughter & The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Dennis Condrey & The Midnight Express These two sides continued their war, battling furiously to a 20 minute time limit draw. Pacific Submission Title Match : Dean Malenko © vs. Steve Blackman Blackman came incredibly close to cinching the Cross Armbreaker on the champ, but Malenko was able to sink in a guillotine choke to make the Living Weapon tap out. Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Dragon Azul © vs. Erin O'Grady The weekend closed out with a Light Heavyweight Title Match, and Dragon extended his remarkable reign with an Asai Moonsault on O'Grady.
  16. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, March 29th Steve Austin & Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Mike Awesome & Chris Adams The evening kicked off with a furious brawl between these two sides, and , while Austin clearly wanted a piece of Awesome, he wound up pulling out the win by defeating Adams with the Stun Gun. Billy Gunn vs. Brian Lee Lee continued his grudge against his former pals in the Brigade by beating Gunn with the Prime Time Slam. Roddy Piper & Bret Hart vs. Buddy Rose & Scotty The Body This was a bit of a dream match, with two of the biggest stars of PCW in Piper and Hart squaring off with the always dangerous Playboy Club. After a long back-and-forth battle, Hart dropkicked Rose into a belly to back suplex by Piper to give the victory to the fan favorites. Ted Dibiase vs. Shinya Hashimoto Dibiase continued his campaign towards a Pacific Heavyweight Title shot with a particularly hard fought win over the Japanese star, defeating him with the Million Dollar Driver (Cobra Clutch into a Russian Legsweep) Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Phoenix Rising (Toshiaki Kawada & Kensuke Sasaki) © vs. Harlem Heat Sasaki bounced back after his loss the day before, forcing Stevie Ray to tap out to the Strangle Hold Gamma. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Fit Finlay In this rematch from the week before, Steamboat countered a big clothesline from Finlay with a crucifix to successfully defend his title.
  17. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Olympic Auditorium , Los Angeles , on ESPN / TSN, March 28th Dan Severn & Stormfront (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) vs. Ted Dibiase & The Miracle Violence Combination The Terror Collective are rising, and the "Man Of Means" is certifying his claim to a title shot by leading his top men into a battle with Dan Severn and his fellow Citadel members. The Citadel did everything they could to hold them back, but the Collective were too much. Dibiase caught Snow with a crushing powerslam off the ropes and it was another dominant victory for him and his men. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. David Young The youngest member of the Collective found himself in solo action with the New Jersey Fireball, who himself has been absolutely burning up the PCW ranks. Young has been gaining a reputation as one tough customer, and definitely showed no fear against Bigelow. But the Beast From The East would not be denied and pinned Young following a Slingshot Splash. A tough loss for Young, but he can at least know that nobody is taking him likely. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are the reigning Golden State Tag Team Champs … the Dreamboats! The fans cheer as Tommy Dreamer, Glamour Boy Shane and Trisa Hayes head out to the ring . The Dreamboats do high five some of the fans, but it is clear their thoughts are elsewhere. Coss : Tommy Dreamer, it seems like, no matter where you go, Coast 2 Coast are always lurking close behind. Dreamer : Coast 2 Coast just doesn't know when to back off. They had their shot at our titles, they lost. But Tatum's sick obsession with Trisa here means they just won't leave us alone. Now they bring in Makhan Singh to help them try to cheat their way to beating us. Well Trisa has something to say about that. Trisa : John Tatum, you sick creep! I wouldn't touch you with a bargepole if you were the last slimeball on the face of the earth! Bringing that Monster in isn't going to do you a single bit of good. Because I know just the Knight to slay that Monster! "Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest plays over the arena as the crowd explodes in cheers. Steven Regal walks through the entrance and walks to the ring, his face a mask of tranquil fury. Regal : Makhan Singh, you said you were looking to make your mark, and you singled out me. Well, I am nobody's "roadkill" , as you so charmingly put it. You may be big, but I am pure sharpest British Steel. I will carve you up and have my revenge. Honor will be satisfied if it is the last thing I do! Shane Douglas , Big Bully Busick & Steve Blackman vs. Sabu , Dean Malenko & Eddie Guerrero This match never had a chance to get started. Busick went right after Sabu before the bell rang, and nothing could separate the two. Douglas and Blackman held off Malenko and Guerrero while Busick and Sabu tore into each other, and it didn't take long for the ref to cede control of the match and declare a No Contest. A full complement of PCW security soon came out, but even they took considerable effort to clear the ring, and it took intervention from the other members of the Citadel and the Hexagon to separate Busick and Sabu. The Hexagon thought they had enough of the Big Bully before, but now they have truly poked the bear. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests recently became the inaugural Pacific Trios Champions … the Money Train! The fans cheer in approval as "For The Love Of Money" plays over the arena PA. David Cash, Jason Jett and Chris Hamrick give plenty of hugs and handshakes to their fans before joining Coss in the ring. Coss : Jason Jett, it's particularly impressive that you have accomplished so much in so little time. You are all only a few months into your careers, and you already hold PCW gold. Jett : That's right, Don, and we appreciate how lucky we have been. But it hasn't been just luck. We've worked hard to earn these titles, and we aren't going to be giving them up any time soon. Cash : There's a lot of tough teams gunning for these titles. The Midnight Express, the Citadel, the Hexagon … and the most persistent, the Hollywood Heartbreakers. Well, if they want to keep coming after us, we are always ready for them and we are always up for a fight! Billy Black vs. Blake Towsley Speaking of the Hollywood Heartbreakers, Jim Cornette bought himself another showcase for his young charges. This time out, it would be Billy Black, and the Redneck Casanova made the most of his time in the spotlight, completely dominating Towsley before planting him with a Piledriver for the win. The Money Train may be ready for a fight, but the Hollywood Heartbreakers are just as ready to bring the fight to them. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Kensuke Sasaki Somewhat unexpectedly, Condrey has become the jewel in the crown of Camp Cornette. Ever since his return to PCW, Loverboy Dennis has consistently piled up wins until he won the California Title from Steven Regal, and thus far, he has proved to be a dominant champ. Even against one half of the Pacific Tag Team champs, Condrey kept his confidence, fending off Sasaki before pinning him following an inverted DDT. Jim Cornette was clearly full of himself after the match, and not without justification.
  18. The two main events are definite must see. Hulk vs. Hansen is a true Clash Of The Titans.
  19. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Selland Arena, Fresno, March 23rd Al Snow vs. Sabu Sabu continued his reign of terror by brutalizing Al Snow before pinning him with a slingshot legdrop David Cash vs. Jimmy Del Ray A tightly contested bout where Cash was able to come out on top with the Money Maker Dan Severn vs. Rob Zakowski Zakowski continued to impress with his dynamic high flying moves , but it was a series of takeover suplexes by Severn that got the win for the Beast. Jason Jett & Chris Hamrick vs. Big Vito Lograsso & Billy Black The Hollywood Heartbreakers bounced back after their loss earlier in the weekend by defeating their rivals the Money Train, with Big Vito knocking Jett out with the Sicilian Smash (running forearm smash to the face) California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Jerry Lynn Condrey continued to show the confidence of his California Title Reign, defeating Lynn with an inverted DDT Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Dragon Azul © vs. Erin O'Grady The evening closed out with another fast paced and exciting Light Heavyweight Title match, as Dragon took down O'Grady with a flying victory roll
  20. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Cow Palace , San Francisco, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, March 22nd Billy Gunn & The Thrillseekers vs. Buddy Rose & The Suicide Blondes The day before, the Thrillseekers lost a pair of singles matches to members of the Playboy Club. Tonight, they came roaring back with a vengeance, and while Gunn held off the Blondes, Storm used a Schoolboy Trip to set up Rose for a Running Crossbody press from Jericho to get a comeback win. Barry Windham vs. Chris Adams You can bet that Windham was incredibly proud of his Brigade teammates for their victory, and channeled that energy in his match where he pinned Adams following the Western Lariat. Mike Awesome vs. Pierre Carl Ouellet Awesome was looking to continue to push over his opposition, but Ouellet was drawing a line in the sand tonight. The Fighting French Canadian hit back just as hard as Awesome, and was able to dodge many of the big man's big shots. He continued to frustrate and bedevil Mike until Awesome had enough and just started to throttle Ouellet in the corner. The ref tried to put a stop to it, but Awesome simply backhanded him to the math. Then, out of nowhere, someone charged into the ring and clobbered Awesome from behind. It was Steve Austin! Stunning Steve hadn't been seen in several weeks, but was back and clearly had revenge on his mind. He and Ouellet seriously put the boots to Awesome in the corner until DDP and Chris Adams were able to pull Awesome out of the ring. Even so, Awesome still wanted to go after Austin and PCO, but DDP and Adams dragged him by force back to the locker room. If Awesome thought he was done with Austin, he is clearly sorely mistaken. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Genichiro Tenryu The Beast From The East and the Japanese legend have faced off a few times already, and this was set to be an epic confrontation. They certainly delivered a titanic battle, and the ring shook with every slam and suplex. After a long struggle, Tenryu was able to stagger Bigelow with the enzuigiri. He hit it again, but that only sent Bam Bam down to one knee before he got back up. A third one proved to do the trick, and Tenryu followed up with a Running Bombs Away Kneedrop to get the hard fought three count. As he left the ring, Tenryu kept looking back at Bigelow, clearly agog at just what it took to stop the New Jersey Fireball. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : Phoenix Rising (Kensuke Sasaki & Toshiaki Kawada) © vs. The Midnight Express The MX got a rematch from Aloha Spectacular, and while they pulled off plentiful impressive moves on the champs, a brutal roundhouse kick from Kawada to the head of Lane led to a successful defense for the Japanese team. 21. Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, on ESPN / TSN, March 21st Brian Lee vs. Lance Storm Soon after he turned his back on the Brigade, Brian Lee became a dedicated to the Playboy Club. While he has had a fair amount of success, the recent resurgence of the Brigade has clearly rankled the big Bulldozer. He has thus far been unable to get a singles win over Brigade leader Barry Windham, Lee decided to take out his frustrations on one of the junior members of the Brigade, Lance Storm. While Lee was not able to bulldoze over Storm, he was able to put him down after a hard struggle with the Prime Time Slam. A big win, but you just know Lee is still itching to get another shot at Windham. The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Big Vito Lograsso & Billy Black Since their return to PCW, the Force Of July have been embroiled in a feud with the Midnight Express. Tonight, Jim Cornette is taking a different tack, sending out two of the rookie members of the Hollywood Heartbreakers to square off with the patriotic duo. Lograsso and Black gave a fair accounting with each other, but ended up being overpowered by a double flying shoulderblock that gave the win to the FoJ. Despite the loss, you just know that Cornette will be plotting his next shot at the popular masked men. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my guests have definitely made a big impact in their short time together … the Hexagon! The crowd loudly boos as the Hexagon heads out to the ring. Most of them are stoic, but the Sinister Minister and Art Barr are on the verge of twitching fury. Coss : Sinister Minister, you … SM : Silence, fool! The Hexagon has no time for peasants such as you! It is the dawning of the age of the Hexagon! Citadel, your time is coming to an end! The angels of light and darkness will wage their war, and we will be all that is left standing! Your Bully has met his match in the Bombay Madman! Your walls are crumbling to dust! And Brother Arthur has something special he wants to say … Art Barr : Roddy Piper! You talk a lot about my family, about what a "good kid" I used to be. It's true, my family have a considerable history in PCW. But I am not my family, and I am not a "kid". I am my own man! Your day is done, and mine is coming. And Playboy Club … I don't care what your problem is with Piper, don't you DARE interfere in my match! I showed you idiots once the price for crossing my border, you really don't want me to do it again. Don't force me to escalate, because I will if I have to, and believe me … you will not be happy with the results. Chris Jericho vs. Buddy Rose Following being called out by Barr in the previous segment, Rose looked even more irked than he normally does going into this match. Jericho took advantage of this, dashing and darting around the ring to frustrate the Playboy while peppering his shots. Jericho's unbridled enthusiasm caught up with him when he failed to take notice of Tina Ferrari when he went for a springboard dropkick. Tina quickly grabbed the ropes and shook them, causing Jericho to fall to the mat. Rose capitalized with a running splash to get the win. Just shows to go you, never turn your back on the Playboy Club. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests returned to PCW and immediately got right back into title contention … Coast 2 Coast! John Tatum and Jack Victory drink in the boos as they walk out to the ring, smirking all the way. Makhan Singh looms over them as he follows them out. Coss : Well, given recent events, I can't say I am surprised to see Makhan Singh here with you. That said, I am having some difficulty trying to figure out what on earth put you together with this … individual? Tatum : Well, Donnie Boy, just goes to show that you should never underestimate Hollywood John and the Big V! We've been chasing the so called Dreamboats, but those little weasels just keep wriggling out of our grasp. So we called on our sources and find out than Makhan Singh is looking to get back into PCW. He can fill you in on the rest of the story. Singh : A couple of years ago, I made my first appearance in PCW, but they weren't ready for me. Well, the PCW wrestlers aren't ready for me now, but that's too bad for them. I had to make an example of someone, and I just knew that Steven Regal was the roadkill I was looking for. Tatum got in touch with me and made me the perfect deal. I sign up with Coast 2 Coast, and he would get me a chance to take down Regal. I took that chance and squashed that English drip like a bug and I am now looking for my next target. Don't get in the way of Coast 2 Coast, or you could be my next victim! Pacific Television Title Match : Scotty The Body © vs. Shane Douglas The night closed off with a TV title defense. Scotty has made a strong start in his TV title reign, and was up to his usual tricks with Shane Douglas. The Pittsburgh native presented a considerable challenge, but the devious champ was able to catch him in the Body Shot (DDT) to keep the title around his waist, capping off a successful evening for the Playboy Club.
  22. Scott Taylor was drafted by Memphis and Halme by NWA before the change to WWF. I don't know if they ever made it onto their regular rosters.
  23. Dusty bleeding ... what are the odds? Seriously, I can imagine that feature match being a serious hell raiser.

With this element of outside interference removed from play, Dreamer went at it Fist And Fire with Tatum and executed a Piledriver to defeat "California" John. Pacific Submission Title Match : Dean Malenko © vs. Steve Blackman Blackman worked hard and almost caught Malenko in several armbreaker attempts, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, and while Malenko was never able to cinch in the Texas Cloverleaf, trapping Blackman in a Half Crab proved enough to do the trick. While Hart had some truly ferocious exchanges with Gordy, and in the end Atlas and Cameron were able to hold back Gordy and Cameron long enough for Hart to hit a diving clothesline on Young for the victory. Shinya Hashimoto vs. Ted Dibiase Dibiase seems to be taking the "Iron sharpens iron" approach to gear up to challenge for the Pacific Heavyweight Title. Facing no less than the former Pacific Television Champion, Dibiase hit hard and often, finally overcoming Hashimoto with the Clean Sweep (Cobra Clutch into a Russian Legsweep). Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ricky Steamboat © vs. Steve Williams Williams got another shot at the Pacific Heavyweight Title in this bruising battle. Williams punished Steamboat throughout the match, but the champ ultimately prevailed, countering an attempted lariat with a crucifix that just barely held Dr. Death's shoulders down for a three count.
