Pacific Coast Wrestling San Diego Battleground Night Two from the San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego Mike Rotunda vs. One Man Gang One Man Gang has been cutting through the opposition in Pacific Coast Wrestling like a hot knife through butter. Wrestler after wrestler has stood against the behemoth from Chicago, only to go down in resounding defeat. The leader of the Brigade was determined to put a stop to this rampage, and he certainly gave it his best effort . He threw everything he could at the big 747, but was unable to get him off his feet. He ultimately tried to use some sort of leverage to try to take him down with a fireman's carry, only to have it cut short with a clubbing elbow to the head. He then unleashed a barrage of power offense on Rotunda before finally hitting the front layout suplex for the pin. Strangely, during the match, Gary Hart could be seen at the back of the arena, observing. After the match, Hart was busily discussing something with Gang's manager Percy Pringle, and Pringle was paying close attention. Tony St. Clair vs. The Great Muta After the last match, Hart came out again to accompany The Great Muta. In the battle royal for the Heavyweight Title shot, Muta had eliminated Tony St. Clair with the sinister green mist, and St. Clair is looking for payback tonight. "Tough" Tony was on his game in this match, striking the Japanese star hard and often with hard punches and forearm shots that staggered him. Muta came back with spin kicks and knee strikes, but St. Clair was patient and lured Muta in before taking him down into leglocks and other submission holds. Muta was able to escape and eventually get St. Clair in place for the Moonsault. But it was another trap by St. Clair, who was playing possum and pulled up his knees at the last second. Muta came down hard on Tony's knees, and St. Clair was able to get up and execute the Floating Butterfly Suplex on Muta. The ref counted the three count , and "Tough" Tony St. Clair had achieve his vengeance. Brickhouse Brown vs. Jack Victory In their first match up a few months ago, Brickhouse pulled off a big victory over "Hollywood" Jack Victory. But tonight, he was facing a seemingly different man. Victory came out without Tracy Smothers or any of the other members of the Hollywood Knights. He was also all business and just went straight after Brickhouse. No matter what Brickhouse tried, Victory seemed one step ahead of him, knocking him down with clotheslines and punches before hitting jarring slams on him. It wasn't long before Victory executed the Victory Plex to put an end to the match. It looks like Victory was out to make a statement, and he certainly made it loud and clear with this match. Black Gold (Steve Blackman & Shane Douglas) vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner) This was originally going to be a 3 way elimination match, but when the Wild Bulls sent the Thundercats out of PCW on stretchers, it was changed to a straightforward tag match. Black Gold are coming off a noteworthy series of high profile matches, including a victory on TV over Ed Wiskowski and Fit Finlay. The Dog Pound came at them, all fists and fury, with the aggressive tactics for which they have been known during their time in PCW. But Black Gold are truly coming into their own as a team, not backing down an inch from Knobbs and Steiner and showing the talent and tag team coordination that makes them one of the fastest rising teams in PCW. When Douglas pinned Knobbs following a belly to belly suplex, it seemed like that was it for the match. But after the closing bell, two men came out of nowhere and attacked Blackman and Douglas. It was the New Zealand Sheepherders, who hadn't been seen in the Pacific Coast for several years! Butch Miller and Luke Willams savagely battered Blackman and Douglas until Leo Burke, Nick Busick and Bam Bam Bigelow rushed out to run them off, but they were clearly laughing as they bailed out of the ring. What brings them back to the Pacific Coast, and why are they attacking Black Gold? Black Tiger vs. Fit Finlay Although he is associated with the Playboy Club, Fit Finlay has been waging a one man private campaign against the British Invasion. Tonight he would square off against their newest member, the mysterious Black Tiger. This would be a bruising match, with both men landing stiff shots and wrapping each other up in painful submission holds that took incredible effort to escape. They waged a draining war of attrition against each other until Finlay was able to knock down Tiger with a rapid fire clothesline, then just barely got him up for the tombstone piledriver for the win. A tough loss for Black Tiger, but after this there could be no doubt that he and Finlay had both given it their all. Loser Leaves Town Match : Bam Bam Bigelow vs. The Masked Avenger The stakes were incredibly high in this match, as Bigelow had risked his PCW career to rid the territory of the malevolent Masked Avenger, so determined was he to avenge both the betrayal of his mentor Leo Burke and his own loss of the Television Title. It seemed like Bigelow had made a fatal mistake in signing this match, as Avenger attacked him before the bell rang and clobbered him with a huge clothesline. Avenger continued his assault on Bigelow, and it looked like this would be the last we would see of the Beast From The East. But Bam Bam dug deep and came back, knocking Avenger down and making him pay some dues for all that he had done. It looked like justice would prevail when Bigelow hit the slingshot splash on him, but somehow the Avenger kicked out, drawing a gasp from the crowd. Avenger then unleashed a torrent of offense on Bigelow, culminating in whipping him into the corner for an avalanche. But Bigelow dodged out of the way at the last second, and when Avenger went chest first into the corner, Bigelow used the momentum to take him over with an unbelievable belly to back suplex. Bigelow then went up top for the Nuclear Splash, and that proved enough to send the Masked Avenger packing from PCW. Then, out of nowhere, events took a strange turn. The spotlight shone on the back of the arena, where a bearded man in facepaint with a hood appeared. He gestured to the ring, and the Avenger sat up and got to his feet. The Avenger then followed this man out of the arena. Wherever this bizarre pair are headed, one certainly doesn't envy the people there, but at least now the masked man is no longer the problem of Pacific Coast Wrestling. Eddie Gilbert vs. Bob Orton Missy Hyatt has been missing in action from her men's matches so far at San Diego Battleground, as she had been for some time, but she did show up for her paramour Eddie Gilbert's battle with the Cowboy. Even so, she was unusually quiet , certainly relative to her past appearances. Orton was accompanied by both Percy Pringle and "Mean" Mike Miller, but Missy ignored them, keeping a steady gaze at Gilbert as he fought with the Ace. These two had fought each other to a standstill on a number of occasions, and it looked like things would go to another draw as neither man held the advantage for long. But Orton mistimed an attempted clothesline and Gilbert was able to capitalize by catching him in the Hot Shot. He followed up with a piledriver to score the victory. Gilbert then cradled Missy in his arms and held her close to him as they walked back to the locker room. Keiichi Yamada & Hiroshi Hase vs. Chavo & Mando Guerrero This match was as fast paced and breathtaking as you could imagine, featuring as it does four of the best light heavyweights in all of Pacific Coast Wrestling. This match had it all : matwork, submission holds, high flying, even a duel of armdrags between Mando and Yamada. After an intense battle between the two teams, Hase tried to hit his Northern Lights Suplex on Chavo, but Guerrero blocked it, reversed it into a waistlock and executed a German Suplex to get the win in this thrilling tag match. Ron Simmons vs. Stan Hansen These two titans have been feuding with each other for some time, with Hansen getting the win over young Simmons at Phoenix Firestorm. The former Florida State All American was looking to even things up and prove himself to the world in this match. He showed plenty of fire and was determined not to be intimidated by the Madman from Borger. The two knocked each other all over the ring , causing the ring to shake every time they collided. Simmons did everything he could to avoid Hansen's devastating lariat, but it was a constant threat throughout the match. The crowd gave a cheer when he was able to hit the running spear on Hansen, but the big Texan was able to get his foot on the ropes, breaking up the count. Hansen battled back and it looked like it would be over when he unleashed the Lariat. But Simmons was able to duck under it and when Hansen came back off the ropes, Simmons caught him in a mighty Spinebuster Slam. He quickly pivoted and grabbed the leg for the pin attempt, and when the ref counted three, the fans whooped their approval. After tonight's big win, there could be no doubt that Ron Simmons is the real deal. Pacific Tag Team Title Match with the loser of the fall leaving town (Big Bubba Rogers banned from ringside) : The Midnight Express © vs. British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) Two more teams putting it all on the line were the Midnight Express and British Steel, as after this match one team would be Pacific Tag Team champs and the other would be forced to split, with one member being gone from PCW for good. Although he was not accompanied by Big Bubba Rogers as per the match stipulation, Jim Cornette was all arrogance, clearly with no doubt in his mind that his men would carry the day. Regal and Brookside were showing no sign of nerves, in spite of how much they had wagered in this match. The result was a match for the ages, with the guile and experience of the Midnights being matched by the athleticism and fire of the young Englishmen. Despite the best efforts of British Steel, it looked like the end result would be a heartbreaker when Condrey had Regal in place for a DDT. But Regal got in a desperation knee shot to the midsection of Condrey, following it with the Regal-Plex. Eaton rushed in to break up the pin, but Brookside cut him off with a running cross body, and there was nothing stopping the ref's hand coming down for the third time. The fans nearly blew the top off the arena with their cheers as they reacted to the win, while the look of shock and horror on Jim Cornette's face was one for the ages. British Steel had pulled off the seemingly impossible and won the Pacific Tag Team Titles, while the Midnight Express were done for, with Dennis Condrey now being forced to seek employment elsewhere. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Buddy Rose © vs. Barry Windham After two long nights of incredible wrestling, it all came down to the big Heavyweight Title match. Ever since winning the title at Seattle Showdown, the Playboy had ruled with impunity, holding onto the title by hook or by crook. Rose came out with his top lieutenant, Ed Wiskowski, and took a moment to jaw with the burly bearded man, once again at ringside and showing his support for Barry Windham. Windham, on the other hand, shook hands with the fans on the way to the ring, even taking a moment to high five his bearded supporter. Then the match got down to brass tacks. The tall Texan certainly looked more imposing than Rose, and showed his incredible athletic skills throughout the match. But Rose had not become and remained Heavyweight champ through luck alone, and his considerable guile and skill kept Windham at bay for much of the match. Windham ultimately got him in a headlock , going for the Bulldog, but Rose threw him off, sending him crashing into the ref. When Windham tried to help up the ref, Rose caught him in a roll up , assisted grabbing a fistful of trunks for leverage, and it looked like he was going to cheat his way to another successful title defense. But Windham would not be held down, kicking out with a huge show of strength and willpower. He knocked down Rose with a big boot to the chest and then went up to the top turnbuckle . When Rose got to his feat, Windham nearly took his head off with a massive flying lariat. One … two … THREE!!!!! Windham had done it and become the new Pacific Heavyweight Champion! The crowd screamed themselves hoarse at the crowning of their new hero, with the bearded man at ringside jumping up and down and pumping his fists in celebration. The rest of the Brigade as well as many of the other wrestlers came out to congratulate him , and Barry held the title belt high over his head with pride. Pacific Coast Wrestling San Diego Battleground Night One from the San Diego Sports Arena, San Diego Dan Severn & Jeff Jarrett vs. The Vice Squad (Jimmy Del Ray & Randy Rose) The first night of PCW's biggest show of the year kicks off with a battle in Pacific Coast's highly competitive tag ranks. The Vice Squad are former Pacific Tag Team champs, while Severn and Jarrett are coming off an impressive battle with the Midnight Express for the titles. The Vice Squad used their finely honed tag skills to switch in and out, trying to keep the Odd Couple off balance. But Severn and Jarrett are really coming into their own, with Severn catching the Vice Squad in several weardown holds that stretched them eight ways to Sunday, while Jarrett used his speed to pepper them with dropkicks and flying clotheslines. Del Ray tried to take down Jarrett with a Savate Kick, but Jarrett caught it and countered with a legsweep, following up by trapping him in a Figure Four leglock. Rose rushed in to try to break it up, but Severn intercepted him with a huge Judo throw that took the Ravishing One out of the equation. With no other option, Del Ray gave up the match to keep his leg from being broken. Severn and Jarrett had scored their most impressive victory yet, with a submission by Jarrett to boot. Leo Burke vs. TNT Ever since his arrival in Pacific Coast Wrestling, the Caribbean Nightmare TNT has torn through the opposition. Tonight, his opponent was certainly no pushover. The veteran Burke dug into his considerable technical expertise to contain TNT. And when TNT switched to slugging it out with chops and kicks, Burke was more than ready to fire back with his own hardened fists. Burke held his own until TNT managed to break through his defenses and stagger him with a knee strike to the side of the head. The lightning quick grappler followed up with a series of kicks, culminating in the Caribbean Kick that sent Burke to the mat. The ref counted to three and TNT had scored his biggest victory yet. Brian Adams vs. Chris Adams Ever since Brian Adams was kicked out of Gary Hart International, the two Adamses have been going at it with a white hot fury. While Adams has managed a few victories, he has frequently found himself stymied by interference from the other members of GHI. Chris Adams came out with both Gary Hart and Mr. Hito, and it seemed to be the same old story as they took every opportunity to cause a distraction for Brian and the Ref, and the American Ninja had a lot of difficulty getting anything in against the more experienced Englishman. The tide started to turn when Vic Steamboat showed up at ringside. Steamboat and Brian had some ferocious battles early in the year, but since Brian left GHI, Steamboat has been a good friend to him. Steamboat kept cheering him on, and Brian started to gain the advantage over Chris. Eventually, Hito tried to interfere, but Steamboat cut him off. Chris tried to take advantage of the distraction with a Superkick, but Brian blocked it by catching his leg. He then drove him to the mat with a huge clothesline, then followed up with a spinning backbreaker and score the pinfall. Steamboat joined Brian in the ring as they and the fans celebrated his victory. Badd Company vs. The Bomb Squad (Chris Candido & Al Snow) For the last while, Badd Company have been on a slide, not helped by the absence of their manager, Missy Hyatt. Once again, Hyatt was missing from ringside, and Diamond and Tanaka were off kilter throughout the match with the rising young tag team of the Bomb Squad. No matter what they tried, Candido and Snow always seemed one step ahead of them. The Bomb Squad finally put them out of their misery when they dropkicked Diamond off the apron and executed their new tag finisher the Detonator (wheelbarrow suplex by Snow into a flying legdrop by Candido) on Tanaka. What will it take to get Badd Company back on the rails? Brian Pillman vs. Hector Guerrero These two have been having matches all throughout PCW, swapping victories and thrilling fans. This would be their highest profile showdown yet, and you could tell they were both ready for it. Hector was cocky going into the match, and he had a right to be, having a distinct edge of experience on the young Cincinnati native. But Pillman had a fire in his belly, inspired by the fans and his own desire to succeed. No matter what Hector threw at him, Pillman would bounce back and reply with offense of his own. Hector had a wicked grin on his face throughout, perhaps sensing a bit of himself in the former Bengal. Hector seemingly had the match wrapped up when he went for the Guerrero Clutch, but Pillman rolled through and out of the move, sliding under the bottom rope. Quick as a cat, he was up on the ring apron and hit the Air Pillman, swiftly going for the cover and getting the win. The grin never left Hector's face as he slapped palms with Pillman after the match and the fans applauded them. Vic Steamboat vs. Joel Deaton These two had faced off back at Phoenix Firestorm, with Deaton coming out the winner. Ever since then, Steamboat had worked had to come back after that disappointing result, and was clearly determined to avenge that loss tonight. The tough Texan was having none of it, slugging away at Steamboat with big lefts and rights. Steamboat immediately came back with blistering chops of his own. Part way through the match, Brian Adams came out to ringside, rallying the fans behind his Hawaiian friend. Deaton tried to block it out and did everything he could to put the young upstart down. But Steamboat would not be denied, hitting a top rope flying cross body press for the win. After the match, Brian Adams came in and raised Steamboat's hand in victory. Loser Of The Fall Leaves Town Match : Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. The Wild Bulls (Ed & Rick Gantner) These two teams had faced off before in many titanic battles. But this one would have the highest stakes yet, as after tonight, one of these two teams would be no more. With that in mind, both teams waged an all out war on each other, and the ring and arena rocked with the impact of their huge power moves. Cameron sought to put the Gantner Brothers away for good when he had Ed lined up for the Harlem Hammer (running double axehandle to the back of the head and neck). But Ed whirled around and shut him down with a boot to the midsection. He then came roaring back with the Bull Hammer (running forearm smash to the face) and went for the cover. Atlas' attempted breakup was stopped cold by Rick and the Hangman's Drop (two handed chokeslam) and the ref made the fateful three count, signalling the end of Iron & Steel. The fans were clearly saddened by this result, and Atlas and Cameron hugged in the ring for the last time. California Title Match : Tracy Smothers © vs. Owen Hart After the sadness of the last match's ending, Owen Hart was determined to bring things back, both for the fans and for himself. He had been on Smothers' trail for a while, and was very keen to win his first PCW singles title. Smothers came out with "Hollywood" Jack Victory, but Victory didn't seem very happy to be there. Throughout the match, "Mr. Hollywood" kept calling on Victory to interfere in the match, but Jack just fixed him with a steely glare, and Smothers had to go it alone. Despite Owen's innovative offense, Smothers did his best to come away with his title when he went up top for the Jawjacker. But Owen ducked under it, then came off the ropes with a spinning heel kick. Owen then went up to the top turnbuckle and hit a precision missile dropkick. One … two … THREE! Owen Hart was the new California Champion and the crowd went through the roof with cheering. Smothers and Victory bickered all the way to the locker room, but it could not detract to the celebration of Owen's title win. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Hart Foundation © vs. Scott Hall & Tom Magee The two young men of the Brigade have scored some singles and six man wins over the Hart Foundation, but tonight it would be for all the marbles. The Harts were all business as they came out, determined to maintain the death grip they had kept on the titles ever since winning them from the Snowbirds. Gator and Megaman certainly had a lot of power and athletic ability on their side. But Hart and Neidhart had plenty of talent on their side, as well as experience as a team, and who would prevail was in question throughout the match, with the momentum shifting back and forth. Seeking to tip the balance in favor of his men, Gary Hart got up on the turnbuckle and pulled out a set of brass knucks. But when Neidhart tried to whip Scott Hall into his manager, Hall reversed it and sent the Anvil careening into Gary. Hall caught Neidhart in a crushing side slam and knocked the wind out of his sails, and the three count afterwards was a formality. Hall and Magee were now Golden State Tag Champs. Gary Hart was livid, and in a repeat of the previous match, he and the former champs argued all the way back. The rest of the Brigade came out and hoisted Hall and Magee on their shoulders as they held the belts high. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bubba Rogers © vs. Nick Busick With back to back title changes, could it be three in a row? The fans certainly hoped so, as the Man From Powerhouse Hill had been a beloved favorite ever since his arrival in Pacific Coast Wrestling. Busick certainly had his work cut out for him , as no one had come even close to taking the TV title away from Big Bubba since his controversial victory over Bam Bam Bigelow in September. Busick proved more than able to hold his own in the match, landing a lot of big blows and moves on the Louisville Slugger. He even managed to body slam the huge Rogers in a spectacular feat of strength that got a gasp of astonishment from the fans. It looked like he just might pull it off when he whipped Rogers into the ropes for his always devastating Spinebuster Slam. But Big Bubba crushed Buck and the fans' hopes with a vicious elbow smash to the head that stunned Busick. He then whipped Busick into the ropes and hit the Big Bubba Slam, following up with a running splash for the final exclamation point. The ref counted three, and Bubba was still the TV champ. Big Bubba and Jim Cornette cackled with glee as they taunted the fans all the way back to the locker room. Busick hung his head in disappointment, but the crowd gave him a considerable cheer, showing their appreciation for him and how hard he had fought. That puts a close to Night One of San Diego Battleground. What will Night Two have in store? Stay tuned!

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, November 7th Black Tiger vs. Mando Guerrero The evening got started with a tight technical showdown that Tiger won with a Tombstone Piledriver Brickhouse Brown vs. Bob Orton The Cowboy scored the victory with a Superplex Tony St. Clair vs. Jack Victory Victory gave St. Clair a hell of a fight before "Tough" Tony was finally able to put him away with a floating butterfly suplex Scott Hall & Tom Magee vs. The Vice Squad (Jimmy Del Ray & Randy Rose) Gator and Megaman headed into their big match for the Golden State Tag Titles at San Diego Battleground with a convincing victory over the former Pacific Tag champs when Magee pinned Del Ray following a slingshot legdrop Brian Adams vs. TNT After Chris Adams snuck into the ring and blindsided Brian Adams with a Superkick, TNT hit the Caribbean Kick for the tainted victory Owen Hart & Brian Pillman vs. The Bomb Squad (Chris Candido & Al Snow) These two teams put on a thrilling match that really got the crowd going and the Snowbirds were able to score the win when Owen hit a reverse flying bodypress on Snow Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bubba Rogers © vs. Leo Burke Burke put in a heroic effort in front of his fellow Canadians and looked like he just might pull it off when he caught Big Bubba in a Sleeper Hold. But the huge Rogers kept driving Burke back first into the corner until Leo was forced to break the hold. He was eventually able to hit the Bubba Slam on Burke to successfully defend his title.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on ESPN / TSN Pacific Super Cards, November 6th Hiroshi Hase vs. One Man Gang Add the young Japanese star to the list of wrestlers who could not corral the big 747, as One Man Gang defeated him with the front layout suplex Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner) A savage brawl that Iron & Steel won when Cameron hit the Harlem Hammer (running double axehandle to the back of the head and neck) on Knobbs Nick Busick vs. Randy Rose In the run up to his challenge for Big Bubba Rogers' TV title, the Man From Powerhouse Hill took out the Ravishing One with a crushing Spinebuster Slam Vic Steamboat vs. Chavo Guerrero A tightly contested match that Steamboat won with a top rope flying cross body press Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Hart Foundation © vs. Badd Company With their manager Missy Hyatt once again absent from ringside, Badd Company at least pulled out a draw with a double count out result as they and the Harts slugged it out at ringside Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Midnight Express © vs. Dan Severn & Jeff Jarrett PCW's odd couple gave the Midnights a real scare to the Midnights, with the champs going to the gutter and using an ambush double team behind the ref's back on Jarrett to pull out the dirty victory Barry Windham, Mike Rotunda & Ron Simmons vs. Buddy Rose, Ed Wiskowski & Fit Finlay The fans were solidly behind the Brigade, particularly a large, burly, bearded man in the front row whose constant cheering for everything they did seemed to especially rankle Buddy Rose. The Brigade were very confident going into their match with the Playboy Club, but when Wiskowski knocked Rotunda out of the ring with a clothesline, that was the cue for One Man Gang to skulk down to ringside and execute a sneak attack on Rotunda, including a splash on the ringside floor that led to the Playboy Club winning by countout

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN , November 5th Ron Simmons vs. Jimmy Del Ray Ron Simmons is headed for the biggest match of his young career as he is on his way to a showdown with Stan Hansen at San Diego Battleground. Normally in these cases, one would figure Del Ray would be looking to do some damage to Simmons to soften him up for his Crazy Gang ally. But Del Ray never stood a chance in this match. Simmons bowled Del Ray over with a big running tackle the moment the opening bell rang, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Simmons tossed Del Ray around like a rag doll before finally putting him out of his misery with a running spear. A dominant victory, but Stan Hansen will be a much sterner challenge to overcome. Stan Hansen vs. Matt Dyson Speaking of Stan Hansen, he gave an incredibly convincing display of power as he straight up annihilated the rookie Dyson. After a few minutes of destroying the young man, he levelled him with his infamous lariat. But even that wasn't enough for Hansen, who locked Dyson in the Brazos Valley Backbreaker and held him in it even after Dyson screamed out his surrender. The match at San Diego Battleground is sure to be an epic battle of two titans. Keiichi Yamada vs. Hector Guerrero While the first two matches were heavily one sided, this was far more competitive. The cocky Guerrero brother and the former Light Heavyweight champ went long in a very intense battle that kept the fans on the edge of their seats. Just when it looked like one man would be on the verge of the win, the other would just barely escape. Yamada finally looked like he would put Guerrero away with a brainbuster, but Hector escaped it by flipping over him, catching him in a schoolboy rollup and keeping his shoulders down for the one two three. A great match from two of the most exciting contenders in Pacific Coast Wrestling. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Joel Deaton Count the Beast From The East as another staring down the barrel of the biggest match of his life, in his case a Loser Leaves Town match against the terrifying Masked Avenger. Facing the tough Texan Deaton would prove quite the test of his mettle before that match, as the Outlaw laid into him with big shots and clotheslines. The New Jersey fireball withstood this attack and came back with his own high impact offense, finally getting the pinfall with a slingshot splash. Would he be able to manage the same against the Masked Avenger? Black Gold ( Steve Blackman & Shane Douglas) vs. Ed Wiskowski & Fit Finlay A few weeks ago, Shane Douglas gave Buddy Rose a real run for his money in a Pacific Heavyweight Title match. This week, Douglas would join his Black Gold partner Steve Blackman in a match against two of the Playboy's Playboy Club cohorts , Ed Wiskowski and Fit Finlay. It looked like Wiskowski and Finlay were out to punish Black Gold for nearly showing up their boss, as they added an extra dose of viciousness in every blow they landed. But Douglas and Blackman were up for the challenge, weathering every shot they took and coming back with their own speed and double team moves. That said , the intimidating Polish Prince and the double tough Belfast Bruiser were not a duo to be taken lightly, and Black Gold had to be constantly moving to stay on an even footing with them. Their patience paid off when Blackman ducked under a clothesline from Finlay and came roaring back with a running bicycle kick. Easy Ed tried to break up the pin, but was intercepted by a flying cross body press, and Blackman scored the one two three. The fans exploded in approval at this impressive victory, and while Finlay was livid at this result, Wiskowski whispered something in his ear, and the two were actually smirking as they left the ring. What sinister skullduggery do this malevolent pair have in mind?

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, October 31st Dan Severn vs. Mr. Hito Severn had a martial arts duel with Mr. Hito that held the fans spellbound until he was finally able to take the Japanese veteran down with a crushing throw before forcing him to submit to the Body Scissors Sleeper Shane Douglas vs. The Masked Avenger No matter what he did, young Douglas was unable to put a dent in the huge Avenger and went down to an over the knee backbreaker. What can Bam Bam Bigelow do to have a chance against the masked man? Brian Adams & Vic Steamboat vs. Chris Adams & TNT Brian Adams and his new friend Steamboat made for a surprisingly effective team, and while Chris Adams and TNT certainly gave them a hell of a fight, Brian Adams was able to pull off a shocking upset when he was able to hit a spinning backbreaker on Chris Adams for the win Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Hart Foundation © vs. Badd Company Missy Hyatt has been absent from her men's corner for the last several matches, and that has led to a slump on the part of Badd Company. This bad streak continued as the Harts took them out with the Hart Attack Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Chris Candido © vs. Black Tiger Ever since winning the belt, Candido has kept a vice like grip on the title, but seemed legitimately scared of Black Tiger. He did everything he could to delay locking up with the Tiger, and even when he did, he took every opportunity to bail out of the ring to get away from him. When he was able to get his hands on him, Black Tiger was able to wrap the champ up in a series of increasingly painful stretches and submissions holds, and while Candido kept barely being able to escape with is considerable athleticism and skill, the champ was distinctly backpedaling throughout the match. It was his stalling tactics that led to the match going to a 20 minute time limit draw, but one thinks he will not be able to out run the Black Tiger for much longer. Owen Hart & Brian Pillman vs. Tracy Smothers & Jack Victory With Smothers on his way to defending his California Title against Owen at San Diego Battleground, it was vital that he stay on the same page as his partner "Hollywood" Jack Victory in this match with the Snowbirds. Unfortunately for him, that was not the case, as he and Victory just could not get lined up, leading to a series of miscommunications cumulating in Owen ducking under a clothesline from Victory that wound up levelling Smothers. Pillman then hit a slingshot splash on Smothers while Owen tied up Victory, resulting in an embarrassing defeat for the Hollywood Knights. Smothers and Victory argued and shoved each other after the match until Chris Candido and Al Snow interceded and got things calmed down. Once again, Candido and Snow could be seen furtively discussing something behind the backs of Smothers and Victory as they all left the ring together.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN , October 30th Ron Simmons vs. Bob Orton A hard hitting match where ultimately Simmons was able to knock Orton off his feet and get the win with the Running Spear Jeff Jarrett vs. Hector Guerrero Young Jeff went all out against Hector in an incredible fast paced match but the experience of Guerrero spelled the difference when he was able to trap Jarrett in the Guerrero Clutch to score the pinfall Scott Hall & Tom Magee vs. Mando & Chavo Guerrero Hector's brothers gave a very tough challenge to Hall and Magee, but Gator and Megaman would not be denied, focused as they are on their upcoming challenge to the Hart Foundation's Golden State Tag Team Titles. Hall pinned Mando after the Gator Breaker (fallaway slam) The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. The Wild Bulls (Ed & Rick Gantner) The Wild Bulls were clearly looking to send a message as they administered a brutal beat down to the Thundercats. The Bullpen were ecstatic as they his power move after power move on Scorpio and Smiley, finally putting them out of their misery when Rick executed the Hangman's Drop (two handed chokeslam) on Smiley. But that was not enough, as they continued attacking until they were ordered back to the locker room by security. Both Scorpio and Smiley had to be taken out on stretchers, and Iron & Steel had best be concerned about their upcoming San Diego Battleground match with the Gantner Brothers. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bubba Rogers © vs. Larry Cameron Speaking of Iron & Steel, Larry Cameron challenged Big Bubba Rogers for the TV title. While Rogers has been dominant in his reign, the former BC Lion gave him quite a run for his money, knocking him about with big clothelines and tackles without quite getting him off his feet. It seemed like he might just pull it off when he had Rogers lined up for the Harlem Hammer (running double axehandle to the back of the head and neck). But with startling quickness, Big Bubba whirled around and caught him in a Bubba Slam to put an end to his challenge. A narrow escape, but still another convincing victory for the Louisville Slugger. Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda vs. Buddy Rose & Ed Wiskowski The Playboy seemed desperate to avoid matching up with Windham in this match, doing everything to keep his main henchman Easy Ed trying to do as much damage as possible to the men of the Brigade. But Barry made every shot he could get in on Rose count, and he and Rotunda were able to put down the Polish Prince with a double bulldog headlock while Rose was helpless to do anything but watch.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on ESPN / TSN, October 29th Tony St. Clair vs. Mr. Hito Tony St. Clair is gunning for the Great Muta after the face painted one eliminated him in the big battle royal, costing him a shot at the Pacific Heavyweight Title. He will get that match at San Diego Battleground, but first he will have to get through Muta's stable mate, Mr. Hito. Hito was certainly not going to be taken lightly , lacing into St. Clair with brutal kicks and stretching him with intense submission holds. St. Clair was able to outlast this onslaught, fighting his way out of the holds and firing back with his own shots. St. Clair blocked an attempted takedown and executed the Floating Butterfly Suplex for the win. A big victory, but he has an even sterner test ahead of him in the Great Muta. Hiroshi Hase vs. TNT Ever since arriving in PCW, the Caribbean Nightmare known as TNT has torn through the opposition like a buzzsaw. In this match, young Hase gave a good accounting of himself but in the end it just wasn't enough. TNT hit the Caribbean Kick and that was that. TNT is on a rampage and it doesn't look like anyone can stop him. Owen Hart vs. Al Snow In what many were calling the sleeper match of the night, two of the young up and comers in PCS put on an incredible display of wrestling skill. These two had the fans reeling and rocking with a fast paced match that kept them on the edge of their seats. As near fall followed near fall, the fans were spellbound, until finally Owen hit a belly to belly suplex and kept Snow down for the one two three. The fans gave them a standing ovation as the two shook hands following the match. Jeff Jarrett & Dan Severn vs. Chavo & Mando Guerrero These are two teams who both have matches coming up at San Diego Battleground, and were both looking to go in with the momentum on their side. The Guerreros had the experience advantage for this match, but Severn and Jarrett were not about to be intimidated, and fought back against the brothers with everything they had. It looked like it would be all over for the Odd Couple when Mando had Jarrett set up for a German Suplex. But Jarrett countered by flipping over Mando's back and trapping him with a schoolboy rollup that just barely held his shoulders to the mat for a one two three. The Guerreros were furious at the decision, but there was no denying the impressive victory by Jarrett and Severn. Barry Windham vs. Rick Steiner Windham is coming in on a real high, with his victory at the big battle royal ensuring him a shot against Buddy Rose for the Pacific Heavyweight Title at San Diego Battleground. Tonight, the Playboy sent out one of the members of the Playboy Club, one half of the Dog Pound Rick Steiner, to do as much damage as possible. Steiner is a powerful man and managed some impressive slams and suplexes on the big man from Sweetwater. Windham was able to come back and show why he was the number one contender, knocking down Steiner with clotheslines and a spectacular vertical suplex out of the corner. He finally caught Steiner in an Oklahoma Roll that secured him the pinfall. If Buddy Rose wasn't afraid for the safety of his title, he certainly should be now.
