    Wow theres some great stuff on this match already written by you guys so I doubt I have anything to add. Im not a big Race fan but I do love Martel in Portland, especially when he teams with Piper. The match was good but I hated the first fall. Martel cranks on Races arm for like 7 minutes and that arm being weakened never comes into play, so it just came off boring and a waste to me. Martel hit some gorgeous arm drags and I love his fire going into the sleeper. Its a good TV match with the World Champion and I could see it leading to fans wanting to see a rematch.

    Oh good, I was worried it was just my disc so thanks for confirming it The Blondes-Steamboat/Douglas feud has been some of my favorite stuff from this set. This was definitely the lesser of the encounters so far but watching Steve Austin's crisp bumps and the way he moves in the ring is really a joy.

    "Where is this Castle of Fear, anyways?" A line so poorly written and delivered it had to be used twice within the segment. Not to mention, Sting stepping through the doorway, backlit, with his Vanilla Ice outfit and striking the Superman hands on hips pose. I also liked the helicopter pilot's voiceover (we've located the castle) that sounded like something right off a ride at Disney

    In line with this stuff there was also the Fabs being managed by Jim Cornette and turning heel on Lawler to collect Terry Funk's bounty. I think that was 1990

    Yeah Pillman's character does seem more forced in hindsight but I thought his performance in this was really good. The shots between he and Sullivan were really stiff and Pillman looked legitimately pissed off leading to the walkout. If I'm not mistaken, Arn wasn't in on the deal at the point he was sent out.

    What about the weird moment in the pre-match throw to the commentators. Heenan has his back to the camera and Tony is trying to get him to turn around. Heenan turns one way and gets tangled in his headset wire and then turns fully around. For this and the one after the strap match Heenan just looks miserable.

    It's not, and I regret it. I'm not sure what happened, as I was well aware of that promo, always liked it, and even made it a point to want to go on the set. It will definitely be on a supplemental set. I found that promo if you ever need it. It takes place immediately after the Sting/Luger vs Road Warriors match on Nitro
