  1. Bryan has been great as a heel, mainly because he has a lot creative freedom but I think them adding multiple fresh names to work with in the title picture at once, Ali , Owens and now Kofi. WWE books alot of their headline matches into the ground, look at AJs title run, going into WM last year AJ vs Nakamura was a dream match but by the time the next PPV people were through. Same with AJ and Joe, Even Miz vs Bryan. Bryan has 3 guys he can headline PPVs with right now and even if he drops the title, he's still fresh. If they dont book him in back to back rematches with screwy finishes he's good.
  2. I missed the entrances but he seems to be winning people over in this match
  3. Most of Ronda's wrestling related posts are in Kayfabe even her post match interviews that they post on the website is in Kayfabe like she was in real fight. Ronda is more protective of the business than most anyone else on the roster and her of all people dont have to be and I respect that. I think Becky is frequent with the tweets now that is defeating the purpose of it. Throwing little jabs here and there is cool but now its overkill. I don't think Ronda looks good going back and forth with Becky on twitter as if she's every other woman on the roster
  4. Because he's about to show some personality as a heel and not be that stereotypical muscled up babyface that Vince likes to book for the last 35 years. I still hope we get he vs Brock at some point
  5. They do that alot, and the fact that they brought up another handful of NXT talent even though they haven't done anything with they guys they brought up last month.
  6. Outside of the fact the they dont usually have a rematch from the Previous PPV main event match headline Wrestlemania Kofi is the only opponent that makes sense. They could do he vs Styles but its been run into the ground. What ever other babyface they put in that spot will be hurt by the wrong type of heat if Kingston doesn't get the spot. This is the first Mania since WM13 were you one have al1 match officially booked one month before. I think they'll go with Kofi in the end but its obviously not the plan for Mania right now because they wouldn't have booked this for FastLane. I'm surprised Bryan hasn't pushed for Kofi at Mania
  7. Didnt Wyatt have a great PPV match with Ryback once. I think he's a good tag wrestler, the last Wyatt Family story with Orton was good before they turned heel on Orton. That was some of Ortons best work in a while especially the match he had with Harper,
  8. Sami would be seen as a bigger fit for AEW than Ambrose Honestly, other than Dean being the bigger star. Maybe The Revival might not be seen as a bigger value than they believe they are but , you know with the Young Bucks in charge they know in the back of their mind that AEW is going to be a Tag team heavy company to the level of JCP in the 80's. The Revival would be valued like a Main Event act if they came in. In WWE they would have to have a strong run of matches the gets over with a number of teams the same way The Duddleys , Hardy and E & C did in the early 00s and as over as those teams were, they got over on their own. The Uso's or any other true tag team could have way more leverage based on the fact that WWE is historically not a Tagteam centric promotion which could force WWE to put more focus on the division.
  9. If you said this 5 months ago, you'd be correct but they've potential serious complication with the emerging AEW if it's true that they are offering raises and putting more effort into keeping talent from leaving then eventually they'll have to stop being complacent with the on screen product. Alot of talent isn't going to be happy to just work fir the Mcmahons and they'll have leverage for the first time since WCW was sold. Guys are already vocal about being unhappy which is smoke to the fire. Is WWE going to continue to punish talent for being vocal about their unhappiness or bury someone for getting over on their own? They are going to be forced to change especially is talent starts to be more vocal about how they are booked.
  10. Its unfortunate for him this Mania build is flat because I expect for the match to deliver but because this wasn't the plan 6 months ago they really didn't put much creative energy in this. I would rather not the Womens title match be a triple threat match but I don't think it worth shutting all over the match. Its not like they are just shoe horning Charlotte into this just because. Plus the past few months forced them the turn her back heel. I believe she's a much better worker this time around, she's owns being a heel and I believe we'll be seing some good work out of her in the build to the match. There is still a chance that they decide to just go with Ronda vs Becky as a singles and work it like they were teasing adding Charlotte because part of me thinks that they are having Charlotte play it up too much. Either way, when ever they do Ronda vs Charlotte or Ronda vs Becky in Singles it will be Hot. Maybe Ronda might wait a few more months before going on hiatus.
  11. Rusev has been throwing out subliminals about his frustration with WWE creative long before AEW. He knows how good he is and how over he is with the audience. He needed to get out of the WWE Environment 2 years ago. He might primarily be a product of WWE system but he is a very good worker, he would do well in Japan. This also tells me that guys are more open to bring up Ideas to Vince himself. People like New Day and other talent have talked about how they had stuff shut down by Vince and creative when they were trying to get over. On that Austin podcast Vince gave the narrative that guys weren't taking initiative to get over and its obvious not true, I'm sure overall there are talent less likely to speak up and just go with the flow but its definitely not the entire locker room that is complacent.
  12. I think It's leverage more than anything now, Creative is a factor yes, but 4-5 years ago most guys didn't have many other options. In KENAs case he's been on the WWE payroll for a few years and he hasn't made it to the main roster TV yet. My only regret is that Daniel Bryan didn't request to work him during his current heel run because that's the only way I see WWE Finally using him meaningfully. I hope NOAH can get a buzz back going under new management and him returning hopefully.
  13. Me being a Vegan and Hippy that I am, He the babyface to me. The only thing I wish about this angle with AJviscif he didn't with the title so quick but thats how the turn worked I guess. I'm excited about the WWE title and both womens title matches and I because i'm not really sure who will each Rumble match they should be good in that respect. I think Bliss could win the Women's Rumble if I had to pick.
  14. I don't believe Sasha has actual heart with Ronda, its possible but, I don't believe so, but she's the same person who has heat with Alexa for not being able to tell the Hardy Boys apart. I believe Sasha is going to try to have best possible match with Ronda at RR to say she had Ronda best match. Its funny that I see her crying about Finally having Women's tag titles and the next minute she joking about wanting to leave. Openly complaining isnt going to do you any favors booking wise and especially now they aren't going to let you go easily.
  15. Even though she is a babyface, she's not being forced to be classic WWE babyface. I believe she'll eventually be moved to Raw because she is obviously being pegged to feud with Ronda goining into Mania. This was a good edition of SD tonight, I rarely get to catch WWE tv. Samoa Joe has always been a great talker, I wish he came into the company around the same time as Punk when he was physically in his prime. He's not bad in the ring at all, he's just alot slower in this faster pace of current WWE. I been behind Almas since he turned heel in NXT but I feel like Zalina is who they see as the star. She's so good at her role that I hope Almas doesn't just caring and let's her overshadow him. There's still so many good match ups on SD for him to have it's just a matter of if they choose to push him.
  16. Coming out of TLC, I assumed they would've moved a few people from SDLIVE to RAW instead of just bringing a bunch of talent up from NXT, It does make sense to have new talent up in time to fill up slots for the Rumble matches but that's it. I hope they do something with alot of them instead of them just filling up the Raw roster. Smackdown has the more organically over talent of the two brands but I guess you don't want to trade any Major talent till they are a Fox.
  17. He obviously has alot of say in how he's being booked and creative freedom. I'll admit, I wouldn't have believed he could get the crowd to boo him much less Vince even allowing him to turn especially not this early in his comeback. Good for Ali, he deserves this, maybe it could give 205 alittle more credibility. WCW let guys work outside the Cruiserweight bubble without just being used to put over guys and WWE hasn't done that since the 205 started up and that sucks because they kill it every Big show
  18. WWE PPVs and live specials usually have at least one short match whether its a main event sprint like Goldberg vs Brock or Taker vs Cena at Mania or an underneath match that ends up being a squash. It made sense for Bryan to try to go for the win early because its for a title shot. The worked the match nice early on to were you couldn't tell they weren't going long. Most of the time you can tell when just are just having a bite sized version of their normal match plus these two will probably face each other so many times in me near future it will be run into the ground
  19. Way to much shit going on in that match, it wasn't even 5 minutes before there was interference and I cant stand the curtain call especially if this is going to lead to Shawn getting back in the ring. Its hard to believe these guys were the same guys that shit on 20 - 25 years ago for relying on weapons for lack of psychology.
  20. I thought Reigns kick out late
  21. Indeed but Joe's probably the only person that can pull it off decently. I dont like this type of angle for these to but Atleast Joe gets to show how much better his mic skills are over these Performance Center products or just the roster in general
  22. Snuka, He didn't go over Morocco
  23. Im watching clips of Piper shoot interviews and he claims that Snuka's loss to Morocco was a political hit to put Hogan over him. It also seems like he might've saw David Schultz as a threat to him being to top heel, which is a shame if thats the case. They couldve done more with Dr D but he claims Hulk didnt want to business with him. I'm so fascinated with Pre and Post Wrestlemania I era WWF it seems like it was very competitive as far as guys wanting to keep their spots or get the top spot of which ever side of Face or Heel you were on. Probably was most competitive the New York territory ever was or will ever be Honestly.
  24. I was going to skip the Casket match but I was curious as to how the Undertaker was going to work in the match it was better than I expect it to be, Rusev is so good, and Taker did more than he had too. I wouldn't mind seing him have a few more matches this year.
  25. 82 is way to young for him. Definitely a true Babyface and a great representation of the business. This came out of nowhere
